This was the PERFECT spot for our group of 7 adults and 5 kids. Drew was beyond phenomenal and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and more!) Environment was great for the kiddos (arcade games and a playground) and tons of TVs for us watching the Phillies game. We ordered a pretzel, wings and a pizza and all were great. Will be back when we're all in town again! read more

This place is constantly a go to spot for our family. Being able to bring the kids and let them play while you can spend time talking, eating and drinking is great. The pizza is always pretty solid, the bbq is also really good. The apps are alway on on point, the Brisket cheesesteak egg rolls, crispy ribs, wings and salads are great as well. Kids always enjoy and have a great time. read more

We went recent weekend and it has changed somewhat. People were nice enough but the space was smaller in some ways. The kids play space and ship was there but smaller but they have a bigger arcade/game room now. Beer selection is still about the same but I think it tastes different on the past, like the pier beer or wheat styles weren't as good to me personally. I think they added some more TVs. Overall, still a good option if you're in the area and have kids and whatnot, but didn't blow my socks off this time. read more

Great spot to catch a game with plenty of large screens throughout the space. They have a wide selection of beers, so there's something for everyone. The loaded fries were great. Bar service was friendly and attentive. read more

I've been here a few times before for privates events, but we decided to head here Thursday night to have some dinner and outside time for our little one. They have a great play area for kids - and boy did she have a blast! There were a food amount of kids and families there as well, so she was able play/meet a few kids. Food is what you'd expect from a bar - finger foods like mozzarella sticks, wings, sandwiches and some BBQ options. We got the Crispy Wings (Buffalo flavored), Brisket Cheese steak Egg rolls, the kid's Chicken Fingers basket for our little and one for us. Nothing too spectacular, but was good and filled the spot. The drinks were great! Definitely well made, balanced in flavor and mixture - we enjoyed them. Definitely plan on coming back in the future since it's good times it's just us and when we want to take her out for dinner or something. read more

Great family friendly place! Love watching the games here. The food is delicious and the beers are crisp.

5 stars mainly because this is hands down the best Family Friendly option for dining I've ever been to! The indoor playground is just genius and not only that but free parking! We spent 3 days in Philly and came here twice for the convenience, ambiance and also the great brews and customer service! We did eat here as well and the buffalo wings were delish- great sauce flavor, the margherita pizza was way better than I expected and the pretzels were hot and fresh! No pics of the food sorry but seriously if you're in the area and looking for TRUE family friendly dining you have to come here! read more

You need it, Craft Hall has it. I made two trips to Craft Hall. 1st trip I had my granddogs Elbert and Sally. We enjoyed the Bark and Beer. It is an off leash area for dogs. They played and made new friends. I enjoyed the beer service. No food in Bark and Beer. I felt like I was missing something so I went a few weeks later with out them. I am glad I did. PARKING. Craft Hall has something for everyone. Pooch Porch, outdoor eating area. Dogs on leashes. Inside; Bar seating, tables, comfy chairs, indoor playground for kids, arcade, take your picture with the Phanatic and/or learn history from pictures on the wall. Two trips so two different beers. I liked one beer more than the other. Neither had a nice crisp finish. I got onions rings on my second trip. They were very good. Tartar dipping sauce, that was brave but worked. Craft Hall is a sum is great than the individual parts. Unfortunately not one thing stood out as great. TheCheesesteakLife.com - Your home for everything cheesesteak. read more

We were having a great time and our service was excellent from up until the manager Kerry had come to us and told us that we were there for 2 hours longer than we actually were. I had about 4 beers my wife had 2 surfsides we already had ordered appetizers and our child had a full meal off of the kids menu. We were about to order dinner and told because we were there for so long we had to leave our table and sit at the bar. Kerry was extremely rude and lying. I can prove this because when we arrived another patron ran into my vehicle in the parking lot and I have time stamp photos and police report stating what time we actually arrived. At this point we spent roughly 40 bucks in the arcade with our little guy our tab was about 100 bucks and server received a 100 dollar tip. We used to come here once or twice a month but due to Kerry's poor attitude and disrespectfully treating my wife and I we won't be back. The fritters I ordered were very good no issues. Our cheesesteak eggrolls were very greasy barely consumable. We didn't finish them or say anything about them just about the full order was left on the table. The first beer I had was the double it was just ok. The next 3 suggested by our server was the west coast ipa I thought were excellent. I'll include pics of the nearly empty dining area which makes Kerry's shameful random disrespect even more puzzling. Maybe she was related to the person who ran into my car I don't know but I'm not even mad we both have insurance and these things happen. Kerry was the disappointment of the day. Good job losing loyal customers Kerry hope your piss poor attitude was worth it. read more

I did like the Santa and Christmas decor for my kid. I didn't like that we were seated by the door as the ppl lining up for some tour keep standing and talking while we barely can hear our own party talk. I ordered the blood orange mocktails which I enjoyed. Order the cheesesteak rolls! I wished we got the pizza instead of the bbq pork ribs. The brisket sandwich wasn't bad and my kid loved his chicken tender and fries. My kid also enjoyed the kids playground. read more

We went to this spot for a quick lunch while in Philly and were having such an enjoyable time trying all of the food options and beers, that we stayed for several hours. The place is large, can accommodate large parties and also children, since there is a play area for kids. There was also a private event in the back area while we were there. They have the option to sit in an area with a server or in their huge bar area which is bar service only, but was very well staffed, so we didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. read more

I've been here twice. The first time was a couple of years back and the last time was a few weeks ago. Both times I liked the food. I think my brisket could have been seasoned better but overall it was cooked well and the sides were good. This is more of a sports bar than a restaurant. I would recommend coming during the football season, it seems like it would be more lively then. The service was quick and both times we had a kind waiter/bar tender. The only downfall to this place is there a kids play pin in the restaurant. Makes it very loud and a little hard to enjoy your time there. read more

The best part about this place is the convenience of having an indoor playground for your kids. Service is okay, nothing to write home about. The burger was good, cooked well and served hot. The pizza and ribs were okay. I love my ribs to be fall off the bone but I don't have high expectations for bar food. You do have to ask for the bbq sauce on the ribs otherwise it's dry. The best thing was probably the cheesesteak rolls. This spot is nice to get a quick bite, watch the game and have a safe area for the kids to play. read more

My 2 stars is for the food experience. All else was fine. Our server was good and attentive. It's a great family friendly spot with booze. The indoor playground is great if you have kids, helpful to keep them distracted while the adults eat and chat. However, I definitely wouldn't come here unless coming with kids bc .. why . The cauliflower with pita was not good and definitely don't recommend based on my experience. The cauliflower itself was fine , but the raw dough of the pita completely ruined it. I showed the server the raw dough in multiple pitas , he apologized and did have it made again. It took quite a while, in which I was hopeful they would not undercook it again. I was wrong. It came back raw again. I did not ask for it a third time as I'd lost faith in their ability to cook pita through at this point . The server was good and took off the charge of this entree bill without us asking. I will say that all of the other food my party ordered seemed to be fine, so could be an off day, a new employee , or just bad luck read more

Brews were good. But the service this day was unusually curt. "Can I help you?" And just threw change at me like "Thank you." Only had one beer. Wanted food. Was largely ignored. Wanted another and some food but I just bought a beer somewhere else. Must not like bachelors coming in. read more

No wonder this place is always empty. Food was mediocre, and service succeeds at being significantly worse than that. 2 hours service time is really absurd for barbecue and pizza. Our server was actively participating as a guest at a nearby tables party and could not have made it more clear that providing our table minimal level service was a burden on her. Forgot drink orders, forgot food orders. A mother and her daughter in my party waited over a half hour to get their entrees after the rest of the table, and we only even for it after I had to get up and track down a manager bc our server had just vanished. To the managers credit she did come by and apologize for the missing food and offer to comp the delayed food. We got the check only to 2 side dishes not accounted for. When I inquired the server stated she had to charge us bc her manager comped the entree. Seems absurd to me that you'd penalize us with incremental charges bc her manager comped an entree that she neglected to fire with the kitchen. I also asked for an explanation about a 20% auto gratuity and got the rudest non-answer on how it's "just their rule". Very poor business practice to enforce an auto-gratuity that is not posted on signage, verbally articulated, or messaged to the customer in any way. read more

Ok as a parent, this place is INGENIOUS!!! I wish there were more places like this. I barely ever go out with my kids to eat b/c I hate how antsy they get. We got here when they opened at 4 and got a spot in their parking lot. We got one of the tables near the playground inside. We were 3 moms with 6 kids and this was the best experience. We were able to order the food while they played. Then they came and ate. Then they played while we were able to actually eat without stress. My friends tried the cider and enjoyed it. I had the buffalo chicken salad which was good. The kids got a range of burgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders with fries. They all enjoyed. They shared some ice cream. This is a dream for parents. Come early and actually sit and enjoy dinner. It was a weekday, not sure how packed it gets on the weekend or during later hours. read more

So whenever I go into Philly I'm always nervous about the place, where it's located and parking situation. This was not the case for this place .they have a small parking lot right across the street and a house one around the corner they share with the casino. The area felt very comfortable and we had no issues. My wife bought us tickets for an Edgar allen poe live reading event here and let me just say, I don't know anything about poetry but man I loved this experience. I was on the edge of my seat listening to these live dramatic readings. Inbetween each reading they gave us a cocktail which was phenomenal. Ok here's the deal. I would have never come here because they have an indoor playground for kids. I do not have kids and honestly don't want to be around a bunch of kids, ever. Then my dear friend booked a birthday party here for her nephew, so I had to go (I mean, I had a choice, but I knew what I had to do lol). Parking is on the street (they may have a lot but if that's theirs it was full) so my boyfriend dropped me off in front and found parking behind the building. I was asked if I was there for the party by the hostess and directed to the area of where to go for the party. It's an extremely large and nice place! The children's parties are set up in front for the play area, which is sectioned off, in the back. Aside from the play area there is also an arcade room. The food that was ordered in larger quantities for the party was all very good! I tried the hamburger sliders, veggies and hummus, chicken fingers and grilled cheese. Oh and the porter was great-I had two! There was a waitress assigned to the party so we had to order our drinks from her with drink tickets that the hostess had pre-purchased. If we were paying with cash we would have had to have gone to the bar, which would have been fine too. So at the end of the day, I'm glad I got to check it out. I wouldn't go again during the day with kids there playing-it was just entirely too loud for me to be able to enjoy myself or hold a conversation. I am super glad that there are places like this one for families to go so kids can play and parents can have a beer or two and some good food! Afterwards a coworker told me they have a room downstairs which I did not know. He mentioned that it might only be open at night. So I might give that a try sometime. It also does seem like a good place to watch a game, so we might give it a go in the fall. read more

Family and Dog friendly. I love the concept of this place! They have a playground in the middle of the restaurant for the kids to play. Although the playground isn't in the best shape, the kids still have fun. There's also old arcade games and board games that everyone can partake. If you want to play the skee ball, make sure to bring some cash with you. There is also a dog park right outside for dog owners to drink while the dogs can hangout which is also cool. The food is also decent for the price and this place also has a small parking lot right next door which makes this place more appealing for families. Great place to bring friends with kids! They have a big playground area and great bar food/beer.

Mocktail was delicious as enough Blood orange flavor. I was charged $7 instead of $6 on the menu. Update your menu or specify is $1 surcharge for credit cards or maybe I missed. Hard working staff. Good amount of TVs and people here were having a good time. I didn't want to overwhelm myself with food but I like they offer it and many others were having typical bar type food here. I believe there are some games in the back but I was enjoying the Phillies game and the costume competition here. read more

Notes: (1) The parking lot is very limited. Employees suggested parking on Lot A across from Roar (2) Bring quarters for the arcade Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday party in the room in the back. It was absolutely spacious with plenty of space to fit over 100 people. The food came out promptly and it was good. We had a lot of food ranging from mac and cheese, hamburgers, wings, grilled vegetables to fruit salads. My favorite dish was the grilled veggies with the fruit salad as it was fresh and well cooked. The staff was also attentive and friendly. The main restaurant is actually big as well, there is plenty of seating and a lot of TVs to enjoy any sports that is playing. As for kids, there is a small arcade area which the kids enjoyed playing with as there were many claw machines and entertainment. I would definitely come back to enjoy drinks and food. read more

Way better than I expected. I'd avoided this place because I was afraid it might be too much for me. Beer hall, food, dog park, and indoor kids' playground? That's a lot going on. But it's so close to home that one quiet evening we took a chance and walked over for a beer. The indoor playground look packed, and it was pretty busy inside, but staff kept up with the crowd and had food and drinks ready quickly. I'm still not ready to dine indoors, so we opted to order at the bar and enjoy our drinks outside on the empty puppy porch. I had some good beer, and the fries were hot and crispy and exactly what I wanted. I think there are enough separate spaces here to satisfy families, dog owners, and those without kids or dogs all at the same time. Staff were friendly and efficient. When the weather warms up I'm sure this place will be packed again. I will be back. read more

I like what they're doing here. Came right at opening on a Saturday and it was already popping. It turns out there was a kids birthday party going on. Parking lot was full (cool that there is even parking!) and there is street parking and probably parking at the casino... Don't go for the food or the dining experience. Dark, very loud, picnic tables, and food served on cheap plastic plates or metal trays with plastic flatware. Great beer. The Old Yards Brewin Co., is now home to the Craft Hall. Reservations were recommended, but they had enough seating to take walk ups. Parking they have a small lot off of Poplar Street or you can find street parking when construction is not going on. We had outdoor seating, we chose outside the tent because it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Waiter was very attentive, as we glanced over the menu on our phones. Beer is brewed by Mainstay Independent Brewing Co. I had a double IPA and a Session IPA, both were very tasty. Also split an order of Brisket Poutine with my dining companion. I was skeptical at first, but it was a great snack to share, the meat was tender, and the fries were crispy, the cheese curds were the best i ever had. I would definitely visit again as most of the amenities inside the Hall were closed due to covid. The Food & Drink were very reasonably priced as well. An overall great experience. read more

I stopped in here on a Wednesday at 5pm with my kiddo and wife. We thought there was table service, but immediately saw about a dozen signs saying otherwise. The next thing we noticed was the size of this place. It is HUGE! You could easily have a wedding here. After looking around for a minute, we noticed the kids play area, which is mostly why we decided to come here. Upon further investigation, we realized it was more suited for older kids, but it was still a good mix of things. Climbing structures, slides, a pirate ship, games and swings. We walked over to the bar and ordered some food. I got the BBQ wings and a cheeseburger, the wife got a tuna melt and we got the kiddo a burger. We walked around the play area a bit while we waited, and in probably 15 min or so, the food was already at our table. I'm jumping right into the food here because we all know that's the most important part. The wings were good. Really good. Super crispy, hot and with just a little sauce, the way I love them. The French fries that came with the kid's burger were also hot and crispy with just enough salt. If we had just gotten those 2 things, this place would have been an easy 5 stars, but that was not the case. The burgers were very well done, thin, unseasoned and were most definitely frozen prior to our arrival. Sorry, but throwing on a bunch of lettuce, a LOT of mayo and 5 pickles, PLUS a pickle on the side, does not mask the taste of a hockey puck. Also, the pickles are bread and butter pickles I believe. No one likes those. My wife, who loves pickles, actually spit hers out. Later after we had finished eating, I also saw a man at another table spit a chunk of his pickle out as well. It was a sad day for pickles. The tuna melt, which my wife barely touched was not great either. The tuna, even though it was flavorful, was cold, the bread was soggy and someone just threw on a piece of cheese, put the whole thing under the broiler for a second and by the time it reached the table, the cheese was already room temperature. There was also a lot of relish on top of the whole thing, which made it prettier, but didn't help overall. This place is good for a quick bite with kids in tow. I would not recommend coming here if you're looking for a nice dinner. Have a beer, have some fried food, let the kids run around and you'll be more than satisfied. read more

Came here today to the first Bark Bowl just to see the dogs and have a little food and drink. It was chaotic but what an awesome venue. We were able to get a table in the main bar area, where FYI you have to order in line at the bar to be served for the high tops closer to the entrance. I got the downeast cider on draft and ordered a spinach artichoke dip which I got a number for. They have a self service area for condiments, water and utensils just near the bar line. Everyone was friendly and took time to explain the process or whatever else, top notch service. Unfortunately we did have to wait somewhat long for my dip while my dining companions had their food delivered pretty quickly. But I would guess there was a mixup and they were super apologetic about it and made up for it when they def didnt have to, so I would 100% visit again on another warm day just because of that. No hard feelings about the delay and hopefully on a less eventful day we'll have better timing. Plus, I was so excited to see so many dogs! read more
