I asked when the bidding ends and specified Saturday when the store opens or close. was told by the store associate when the store close. they even got a calendar and checked for the 7 day bid time. Saturday morning I drive from Berkeley Springs to Winchester to find out the bidding ended that morning. I had no other reason to drive to Winchester other than to put in a bid. I left and then decided to call back and speak to the manage. The associate Vicky who I spoke with did her best to resolve this proble. Well unfortunately the manager nor Vicky couldn't/wouldn't do anything to resolve this in some fas or anothe. Well I have been a customer at the stores in Winchester for almost 15 years now going both stores every week at some point and time. Well unfortunately for them no mor. untrained associates and poor customer service I do not care for as I deal with customers and vendors every day and I can and will make a situation right so I don't take a chance of losing a customer and/or a vendor. Good luck in the future, Tim B.

Rather, it just means it's the fourth best thrift shop in the area. I try to hit all the thrift shops at least once per week. For most of the others, their stock rotates pretty quickly. But I've noticed at the Resourceful Woman they don't seem to have as much turn around. This really just means that people in the area are not donating many items to them, so it isn't really their fault. As with most of the other stores (all but the Salvation Army), they are 100% charitable, with their work force being, as far as I know, volunteer. The people are nice, and their merchandise is laid out clearly and is easy to find. They have two fitting rooms if you would like to try on clothing. Some of their items tend to be a bit over priced, but for the most part they are decently priced. Overall, it is definitely worth visiting if you are already in the area, but probably not worth a trip on its own.
