Call about an item in the silent auction I had left a bid on. this was Friday night around 6:00…read more was told there was a higher bid. I asked when the bidding ends and specified Saturday when the store opens or close. was told by the store associate when the store close. they even got a calendar and checked for the 7 day bid time. Saturday morning I drive from Berkeley Springs to Winchester to find out the bidding ended that morning. I had no other reason to drive to Winchester other than to put in a bid. I left and then decided to call back and speak to the manage. The associate Vicky who I spoke with did her best to resolve this proble. Well unfortunately the manager nor Vicky couldn't/wouldn't do anything to resolve this in some fas or anothe. Well I have been a customer at the stores in Winchester for almost 15 years now going both stores every week at some point and time. Well unfortunately for them no mor. untrained associates and poor customer service I do not care for as I deal with customers and vendors every day and I can and will make a situation right so I don't take a chance of losing a customer and/or a vendor. The cashier told me it didn't come out, and she made me swipe my card again, which depleted my account completely. I was then refused to take any of the items I purchased- twice. I will be disputing this with the bank as it's already begun- but I want to prevent anyone else from making this mistake. They also do nothing to help the community and overcharge on items they received for free. I wouldn't call Goodwill- it's almost ironic. They tried to tell me that they have no idea how to use their credit card system. It's not that hard to call the number on the back and educate yourself. It's shameful unintelligent and just lazy and now I'm dealing with the repercussions.

The store is decorated nicely and there is more than adequate space around the clothes racks to shop. They have a separate room where they display household items. The sales staff are all volunteers and are very helpful and engaging. I will definitively be going back.
