Horrible customer service…read more I came into this showroom on a Saturday after a window latch broke. I brought the window and the broken latch with me, expecting some basic assistance finding a replacement part. Instead, because I didn't have an original order number and hadn't purchased the window directly through them, they refused to help. Maybe the weekday staff is more knowledgeable, but the employees working that Saturday either didn't know the Milgard products or simply couldn't be bothered to help someone who wasn't making a large purchase. It felt like the moment they realized I was only looking for a replacement part, they lost all interest in assisting me. If you're expecting customer service, product knowledge, or any willingness to help solve a simple problem, look elsewhere. There are better options out there. Update: Reached out to Roadrunner Glass in Fremont and they were able to identify my window from pictures as the Tuscany model and the Smart Touch Latch I needed. They did not even me to come in with the window and only needed a picture. So if you want good customer service its better to just wait till during the week when staff with experience and know-how can help.

Was excited to find a lumberyard open on weekends that wasn't Home Depot. Got there, and the people…read morewere very friendly and helpful for the basics, but I wouldn't go there to ask actual technical questions about wood or building. I did going expecting it would have a better selection of lumber at better prices than Home Depot. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They had a lot of wood suitable for construction but not for woodworking. They really had only one type of plywood with any kind of nice surface. Mostly have OSB, CDX, and only one type with a sanded finish. And that was almost $10 more per sheet than what I could get at Home Depot. No Birch or other quality plywood ether. I did purchase about 4 sheets just to check them and then went to Home Depot and got the remaining 11 sheets I needed. It was less expensive and there was significantly more choice for plywood other than OSB, CDS, etc.

We recently bought sidings from this company to repair a minor damages due to a fire in our home…read more Being distressed with our situation along with anxiousness to fix our home, we went to the Campbell location first thing Monday morning to match our siding so we can comply with our HOA standard. We brought a sample of our siding to match it and the person helping us assured us it was the same and so we purchased the 30 pieces we needed. We loaded and brought home the wood only to find it was not the same exact size. We called back to try to rectify the issue but the person we spoke with was not very helpful and told us that was the only size they had and we have to pay a restocking fee if we requested to return the materials purchased. Needless to say our hands were tied and our contractor had to spend extra time to modify the sidings.

We were recommended by another company to come here and I can see why. Homer was really patient with me and spent a lot of time with my husband and I in trying to find the right flooring. On top of that, Homer answered my concerns and questions via email too. He is just wonderful! My only advice is to not ever get Mohawk tecwood, natural linen oak. It's my fault. I tried to research and I picked it. Homer tried to steer us to better quality to hold up for everyday use, but I was dead set on this. I should have listened. I will be back and listen to Homer next time. Just love this place!

Mixed experience with FMD Distributor…read more On the positive side, We worked with Homer for our flooring project and had a fantastic experience. He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with Shawn on the windows and doors side was the complete opposite. He often came across as condescending, seemed distracted and in a rush, and follow-up was poor. Customer service and communication were disappointing, and we were left wondering why someone with that attitude is in a customer-facing role. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend Homer for flooring, but I cannot say the same for the windows and doors department.

My partner is not fluent in English, so I explained that I would translate and that we could use ChatGPT if needed. The female employee helping us responded by saying, "You need to speak English to do your job." She then added, "I'll give you ten minutes." Instead of showing patience or professionalism, she treated us as if we were wasting her time. When we mentioned using ChatGPT to translate, she and another employee laughed at us instead of offering assistance. As a business owner myself, I would never allow my employees to treat customers this way. Their behavior not only showed a lack of professionalism and respect but also caused ABC Supply to lose a nearly $20,000 sale. We took our business elsewhere the same day. I hope management reviews the security footage and addresses this situation seriously. Respect for customers should never depend on the language they speak.

(It had only been 3 weeks) We reached out to Stucco Supply and Drywall for help. They sent out one of their technicians who wrote up a full report of what the cause might be and gave a recommendation on how to correct the color on the walls. He also had samples made of our color so we could compare the color correction material to our integral color walls. In addition, he was always timely in responding to me when I reached out with questions. Applying the color correction paint to our walls seemed to be the best solution so we have decided to have this process done. Everyone we dealt with at the company was very nice and professional. I went to 5 of the largest hardwood suppliers in the Bay Area multiple times, sorting through 1000-2000bf of lumber and could barely find a single board at the size I needed that didnt have massive knots, or overall just poor figure / grain. I finally found Global Wood Source, and while their volume of wood to select from was much smaller than the larger suppliers in the area, the quality of the selection was not even in the same ball park as the other suppliers I had been visiting. All of their boards were gorgeous, unique, and perfectly surfaced. I spent some time chatting with Eric, and James, both incredibly helpful, patient, and easy going. They helped me find exactly what I needed, and even spent some time chatting about my project. James gave me a few great ideas / tips for my project that came in handy. I wont be shopping for hardwood lumber anywhere else moving forward. For me it's worth the drive from the east bay to have access to their gorgeous supply of hardwoods.

I was warmly and genuinely greeted by Jackie, who showed me the prettiest orange poinsettia plant! I wasn't in the market for it, but now I wanted it! However, my main purpose was to buy the Tecoma bush at 50% off. I showed Jackie my phone with the email ad. Since there was no barcode scan on the email, she had to try another way to mark my purchase at 50% off. Finally, she had to ask a manager, who tried to say that not all Ace Hardware stores might be participating in this promotion... My husband explained that S. King Rd. location was printed on the email... Then the manager okayed the discount... I was surprised that they were unaware about the Black Friday promotion, but happily I eventually left satisfied. My husband was able to utilize his Ace Rewards membership on the beautiful orange poinsettia! Thank you, Jackie for not giving up!
