Also, it doesn't help that the business owner constantly complains to customers about having to pay $20,000 a year for Square (the credit card system they use). And now he's adding a 20% charge to all credit card purchases. Part of running and owning a business are expenses. If you can't afford to run a business, then don't run a business! And don't complain about it ad nauseam to your paying customers. And the place has a strong fish odor because of the market next door.

The folks here are friendly and you can tell they are knowledgeable and love the industry. I randomly stumbled across this place when I was grabbing lunch in the area on my break. I can't speak to much on the value because I was just going in to take a look at the time (and didn't purchase anything on that particular visit), but from the price tags, everything that I saw seemed very reasonable. This is the type of place that I would have spent a lot of my paper route or minimum wages I earned when I was a kid. I probably would have spent hours here and been here all the time if this place was near me growing up. If you are into comic books and related collectibles, this place is an absolute gem.

If you haven't gone here you need to go. I wish I stayed there longer, but I was on a strict schedule. The atmosphere is creative and welcoming, with a cool artistic vibe that makes browsing so much fun! The staff clearly knows their stuff and are passionate about books and art. The store was super clean , well organized and easy to navigate through, when with such uniqueness. Overall experience was so unique, I wish i had more time to enjoy the cafe, games and books. The store is huge with plenty of space to browse and flip through a book. Beyond books, they also carry a great variety of items like journals, toys, planners, puzzles, and board games. The café area is comfortable and perfect for reading or studying, and the staff at the checkout are so sweet and helpful. I honestly envy them for getting to work in a place like this. lol My only wish is that they had more seating scattered throughout the store so you could curl up and read in your own little corner rather than having to make your way to the café.
