Stopped in for happy hour. Decided to sit outside, even though happy hour is offered throughout the entire restaurant inside seemed a bit noisy and dark. First beer order off the beer QR code was out. A lot of display signs for an Oktoberfest beer was the second choice, but that wasn't in yet. Nonetheless ordered something else with an order of bone and wings and patty melt. Both were really good. Wish there was an option to substitute the bread for sourdough but there wasn't. However the patty melt did not disappoint! Fry sauce and tartar sauce on the sweet side. Would opt for different sauce next time. Ranch & blue cheese good. Nor did the bone in buffalo wings. Service was great. Small outdoor dining area could be more inviting. Overall food and service was really good.

On July 17th around 6:15pm we stopped by our local Hops n Drops for dinner, and I was so excited for my first time there! We were immediately greeted as the hostess opened the door for us on the way in, and immediately seated. Our server, Jenny, is the absolute best! She asked if it was our first time there, and since it was mine, we were offered their chips with garlic ranch dip on the house, and it was AMAZING! For our drinks we got the bottomless lemonades, mango and huckleberry flavor, mozzarella sticks for the appetizer. We got the smash burger and fish and chips for our entrees. My fish and chips were absolutely amazing. It came with a side of fries and coleslaw. The cod was perfectly flakey and served with multiple sauces, which is perfect for me. The coleslaw was very nice as well. Jenny was always checking up on us, making sure our drinks were topped off or if we needed anything else. We will be stopping by again soon. Thanks Jenny and everyone there for making our dinner so amazing!

Good American restaurant. I was seated right away and served food and drink. My toddler didn't seem to take much to the food because she was extremely tired. Mac and Cheese has good intention of having real cheese, but it tasted dry. The Mike's Damn Good Sandwich was pretty good! It was like a fancy version of pickled turkey panini sandwich. French fries are actually seasoned fries. Apparently, my husband didn't like the teriyaki burger. I didn't like the parking lot had limited parking, literally. I like the fact you can scan and pay for your meal from the receipt using credit/debit card. I didn't want to wait for my waiter any longer.

This place was our Applebee's of the PNW. They allegedly have good mac and cheeses, but majority of them have meet, so stuck to a grilled cheese which had a little bit too much aioli for me. I'm a tot fiend, but I don't know if theirs were overcooked or its just the style, but they were a bit too crunchy for me. That being said, the waiter was nice. It had a chill vibe to it. But the drinks? The drinks are why I'd go back. I got a Gummy Bear drink which tasted like a white gummy bear. Part of the kitsch of this place is that they serve the drinks in glasses made of ice, which is kind of cool (no pun intended). I know there was booze in my drink, but it wasn't overpowering, so I could see myself getting knocked out without realizing it. I also got to try a coconut porter. Between the drink and the beer, I was good for the night. Hydrated and happy.

Friendly service, decent bottle selection. Overall the mac tastes as expected. I feel like for $18 dollars it's a little light and missing something. It barely had any blue cheese crumbles to balance the heat. Not terrible, but it could use a blue cheese cream sauce maybe.

Went to dinner with my daughter. Staff are super friendly. Drinks are not what I expected, The mojito had no flavor, one piece of sad mint. Tasted like soda water with a hint of lime. I also ordered a martini. I have never had a martini with lime before, not what one would expect and I much prefer olives, cocktail onion or a twist of lemon. The martini also come in a rocks glasses not a coupe or martini shell. I did attach the pictures. As stated earlier, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We were quickly greeted by our server, however she was busy and took quite a while for her to make it back and take our orders. We ordered a flat bread as an appetizer, came out after our entrees. I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, lacking in flavor and the bread definitely was not what you would get with a traditional Pop Boy. My daughter ordered a burger with no cheese and it came out with cheese. The server quickly apologized and corrected the burgers. The entrees did come out quickly. The server took responsibility for the error with the burger and made it right with use. She had half of the cost of the burger removed for our inconvenience and we were not charged for the flat bread since it came out after our meal. They also let us take the burger with cheese home. The server was nice and apologetic. We did not get a two bit check back. The check was dropped off but we were not asked about dessert. We were looking forward to something sweet but decided not to ask about desserts since we already had the check. My daughter and I had a great time at the restaurant even though there were a few mishaps. The food was good, the Po Boy just wasn't to my liking. My daughter really enjoyed her burger and the flat bread was good.

We were trying to find someone who was open for sit-down during the COVID shutdowns. We thought we'd give this a try as we had never been here before. I ordered the Buffalo Bacon Chicken Mac & Cheese with a bowl of the French Onion Soup. My wife ordered the French Dip. The French Dip was nice and meaty and the chips that came with it were not very salty (which was good for us.) The French Onion soup and Buffalo Bacon Chicken Mac & Cheese were both very good but perhaps just a little too salty. The garlic Pita bread that came with each was nice and fresh tasting. Service was good. We aren't drinkers but the server kept our Cokes full the entire time. Overall, a good experience. We will be back. read more

Had dinner at the Frederickson location yesterday 6/25/23. Food was great but service was HORRIBLE!!! Our server was very nice and I'm not sure if he was overwhelmed but we hardly saw him. It took a good 10 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted something to drink. By the time we ordered drinks we were ready to order our food. Received our food, not by our server, and asked her if we could get vinegar and ketchup. Sat there waiting for her to return with items we requested so we could eat, which she never returned, so then asked our server for the previously requested items, as he passed by. We were never asked for refill on water or beverage. We were then ready for boxes and had to flag down another server, not ours, twice just for boxes. Keep in mind we were with a 2 year old that was done and ready to go. We then boxed up our food and sat and waited again for our server to give us our receipt. Again we had to flag down a different server to ask if we could pay our bill. She went and asked our server who proceeded to service several other tables before giving us our check. read more

Came here for the first time the other day for a late lunch. It was a week day and pretty empty. Food was really good! I love how they make their fries too. Crunchy but still soft on the inside. Everyone got burgers and all enjoyed them. The lemonades come in huge glasses and are really good as well. I didn't try any alcoholic beverages so I can't speak on that but the food was great! Service was also great. I can definitely see myself coming back, especially since it's so close to home. read more

Great fast and friendly service. However burgers were really saucy and overpowering. The food was good after I wipes off the sauce with the napkin but disappointed I had to do that. Both items we got were like that so it leads me to believe that's how they prepare their items. read more

Nine orders out of ten for Mother's Day breakfast were cold. It wasn't even a busy time of morning. Hollandaise tasted like Mayo and lemon juice. Didn't even get utensils or napkins and had to ask twice for the correct amount. No waters the whole meal. Our grandma didn't even get her order until the end of all of our meals. They comped her with a gift card and free donuts but she's from out of town and won't return. At least the bill was accurate though. Thanks H&D. read more

Great place to dine or take out. We recently ordered through door dash and the order was incorrect. We called door dash to correct and was advised it was not "their responsibility". We called hope n drops and they not only fixed it, but went above and beyond. Can't thank them enough. Delicious food, great service! read more

My husband and I split the potato chip nachos and the southwest chicken taquitos which were both really good. The beer selection is great and I highly recommend trying the various lemonade combinations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be returning soon. read more

Wanted to come here and try it out since it's new to the area. Well, we've tried and won't be trying again. Food was delivered before we got our water. Wasn't busy, so not really an excuse for that. I got the French dip, my bread was soaked on the bottom and it was falling apart. Which is gross and makes it difficult to dip in the au jus. My son got the nachos, looked like a toddler made them. The cheese was over melted to the point that it was hard. I had also asked for a side of ranch. Not sure what they think ranch is, but I guess their ranch has horseradish in it . If ever asked to go here again I will take a HARD pass!! read more

Their food is amazing and I love that, at least through DoorDash (my husband accidentally ordered online through DoorDash for an order that he wanted me to pick up on my way home from a Dr. appointment ), you can even purchase drinks! The last time I went there (about 2 months ago as I have since relocated), they were in compliance with the Governor's orders for Covid-19 and only had take-out/pickup orders available (I can see that they're still doing so!): it's always a plus in my book to place a priority on people's health and safety over your own profits!!! If you order through their website, they donate a portion of your order's total to local food banks! I don't know if they're still running the promotion, but they donated a higher portion of gift card sales (which also gave you something [an entree I believe] for free) to the food banks as well! Please buy through their website instead of a third party! I bought a gift card that day to make up for my hubby's mistake, as third party orders aren't able to donate to local food banks! Those of us that are fortunate enough to still be able to afford buying food from restaurants almost a year into a devastating pandemic, that has made millions lose their jobs and be forced to go to food banks to feed their children, should do everything we can to help! Hops stands up to their sign's claim (THEIR claim) of being a 'community' place by TRULY giving back to the community! A business can't get any better than this for me ! People who ACTUALLY HAVE HEARTS !!! Keep it up Hops 'n Drops ! read more

first time going here durning happy hour (on a weekend). location: easy to find and plenty of parking (unless there's more people dining in at Taco Bell next door). food: for happy hour, portions "are not so happy" and lacked flavor in some dishes. you're likely to have better portions for the price and better tasting dishes at Applebees (sorry). customer service: friendly staff and attentive read more

I've enjoyed having lunch here quite a few times today I came for the breakfast it wasn't very busy but I waited a long time for my food the hashbrowns were not crispy at all I definitely will continue to come back for lunch but I think the breakfast wasn't as desirable and Even with what seemed to be a pretty full waitstaff the service was slow read more

There is always an issue with their takeout orders. Last time we ordered, did not substitute the meats on a breakfast dish as requested. Today we ordered 3 orders that had either french toast or pancakes and they did not add ANY syrup to our order. They have it bagged up and ready to go when you get there so cannot verify anything until you get home. Food in general is average whether it's dining in or take out. read more

I love tavern food! This place is delicious and amazing! The service is just amazing and I have never had a server there who was rude, disrespectful, and not happy when they came to our table! We had a super yummy lunch there today. Fast service, great food, nice atmoshpere. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a bacon burger. Both came to us, huge and looking good. The chicken sandwich had shaved ham, crisp tomatoes and lettuce, such great taste. Also had a cup of clam chowder...so good. read more

I went to Hops n Drops in Tacoma and was delighted to discover a restaurant that serves delicious American classics. This place has all of the classic comfort foods that I was craving, from burgers and fries to sandwiches and salads. The food was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked, and the portions were generous. The burgers were flavorful and juicy, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. I also liked the variety of condiments and toppings available, which allowed me to personalize my meal. Aside from the delicious food, I was also impressed by the friendly and efficient service. The staff was attentive and ensured that my dining experience was enjoyable from beginning to end.
