What an Amazing Place !! My husband and I dropped in for dinner after seeing 'Top Gun, Maverick' (Great Movie BTW) and had a Wonderful 'Thyme' !! The resturant has Outside Dining and Plenty of room for large parties. We were lucky to be entertained by Live Music while we enjoyed our meal and a Great Bottle of Wine. Our waiter, Shea, was very attentive and assisted with our every need. We were full from our Delicious Meals (fish and chips (the Best Cod!) and Fish tacos (delicious Mahi Mahi) but just had to try their Crème Brûlée Cheescake ! OMG we're so glad we did ! With so few options available in the area, I really want this place to survive. Unfortunately with the new menu, its not great. I understand wanting to streamline and simplify, but its not working. No one wants apples with their sausage. Given there are zero sports bars in the area, I would try that route. Work on putting out some really good bar food, add some TVs, cheer up the waitstaff and work on creating a more inviting environment that people will spend multiple hours in. Clean up the play area off the back deck and the families, sports teams, etc would flood in. read more

We were looking for a lunch place with patio open close by and this came up. We went there and we're amazed to see how big is their patio. Plus it was very nice and clean which is a plus. We were greeted nicely and made to sit at their patio table in next few minutes. Our server was very good as the water came out fast and after placing drinks order it came out quick too. For food we ordered brussel sprouts and fried cornbread as appetizers. Brussel sprouts were usual but corn break was too sweet than usual. Than we had aglio Olio pasta without chicken and it came out okay. Though I liked their chicken pesto club. I've been eyeing this place for well over a year and finally had the opportunity to visit. It's a solid 4 1/2 stars. I'm surprised by the low rated reviews, as we didn't experience anything negative. I met a friend for a Saturday afternoon. We walked in and immediately noticed that the place was essentially bare. There was a single table of six enjoying lunch and a party of two at the bar, so seating wasn't an issue. We opted for the bar, which gave us the ability to scan the drink options. The inventory of whiskey, was decently sized and very impressive from a selection basis. As a bar with food, the menu includes some very interesting choices. However, I was leaning more toward a burger and their 44 Farms Cheeseburger was calling my name. The kitchen is up front and personal. The guys slinging the food, definitely know what they're doing. I ordered mine medium rare and that it was. As we relaxed, we did notice the large outdoor patio. If it wasn't so cold and dreary, we definitely would have camped outside. This place might be alright if all you want is to come sit on the patio on a nice night and have a drink, but the food is not good. Before ordering I asked our waitress about several items on the menu and she shrugged and said "it's okay" or "it's not my favorite" about several things. Additionally, they had loud music on the patio that was super inappropriate for children - using the f word multiple times and other bad language. We were there with our child before 6pm, so that didn't seem appropriate for a restaurant. All that said, we will not be returning. read more

Beer garden atmosphere was really great. Went during brunch time, and was unable to order anything not on the brunch menu, which at 1pm was a bit of a bummer. Luckily they had a cheeseburger on the menu, so we got that and the chicken and waffles. Burger was really good and juicy. The waffles in the chicken and waffles were dense and whole wheat or soemthing, so while the chicken was really good, overall not my favorite item because the waffles weren't a good contrast. We had a great time this last Saturday at Hops & Thyme for a late Mother's Day celebration. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the meal. Their outdoor dining area is so nice and the live music is great! All of their cocktails were great. We LOVED the Brussels sprouts. We got two servings of it. We also got the charcuterie board and fried cornbread and really enjoyed those as well. I had the aglio olio for my main and it was tasty. The bread pudding for dessert was a great finish! We ate here previously...a couple years ago... before they changed chefs and their menus and were very disappointed at that time. They messaged me to let me know of chef and menu changes months ago. It took awhile for us to return, but we are glad we did. We ate burgers for lunch today made of mixed meat (brisket, sirloin, short rib) which had excellent flavor. After such a good lunch then reading the dinner menu, we definitely plan to return for dinner with our family. They have a large selection of drinks - we were happy with our normal electric jellyfish beer and I tried and liked a berry drink with vodka. We rented out the outside patio for a private company event. The private rental price was reasonable, the patio is beautiful, the food/drinks were great, and the staff is AMAZING!! Andrew was great in getting everything set up and Jen, our server, was so friendly!!! I had hired a separate team building company to come in and facilitate the evening. That company bailed on me 45 mins prior to the start time. I called Hops and Thyme and told them of the change of plans and when we showed up, the staff had printed off of team building games just in case we needed them. Great experience and atmosphere! We met friends for dinner and all of us loved our food and enjoyed sampling various beer and wine. The owner, Trent, and his staff were attentive and made sure we all had full glasses and full bellies. They offered multiple samples (generous samples) to help us decide which beverages to order. They definitely aim to please. They had a live band outside on their shaded and fanned deck, not too loud so conversations could still be had. I had the steak skewers, which were well seasonsed and cooked perfectly. Very tender too. I tasted my husband's Mac and cheese with bacon, it was exactly what you want Mac and cheese to be. Not overly gooey and full of flavor. I also had the Bollini wine. All of the plates looked delicious and everyone loved their food. I can't speak to the beer because I don't drink it but they sure do have a lot of it and the men at our table seemed impressed with the selection. PROS: Really tasty food, great service, tons of beer on tap, decent wine selection, all of the patrons seemed to be really enjoying themselves, comfortable atmosphere, not too loud, owner on site. Way beyond the typical bar food menu, his small plates 'tapas style' attract the eyes and excite the mouth. One dish is as amazing as the next. They should rename this place Hope and Time. Hope that your food will comes out before the end of Time. The major issue with this establishment is the management. I ordered the salmon but production in the kitchen seemed to be inconsistent as many around me not only got their food but finished it before I received my food the first time. I say the first time because when after an hour I got my food it was quite raw in the middle. The second time it was cooked nicely and the salmon and the sides were all delicious. The manager did come and speak with me not because I complained but because a stranger sitting next to me pointed out that I had been sitting there for an eternity. The manager blamed the kitchen as there were some new people being ramped up. If you are the manager and you know you have new people in the kitchen and you have a restaurant at 10% capacity I would suggest you give the kitchen special attention. Second coach your wait staff that if the kitchen isn't turning out food or if a customer has not received their food in a timely manner (1+ hour) or received it and it wasn't cooked to your standards (raw) then you want to know about it. You don't always have to wait for a customer to complain. Some won't complain and won't come back. In the end, the manager comped my meal and gave me a dessert. The waiter brought my ticket and pointed out it was $2.50 because I had a club soda. 1 club soda over the course of 1.5 hours. No! Charging for a club soda, a pet peeve of mine. The tip here is if you have someone sitting without food for an inordinate amount of time you need to give them something even if that something is letting the manager know. Again, just because someone isn't fuming doesn't mean it is okay. Have a standard and hold yourselves accountable. The food was good though. read more

The scrambled eggs were brown & over cooked. I ordered pork belly eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were overcooked. No hollandaise sauce, & pork was so tough it was not edible.
