Beautiful Hidden Oasis on the Lake!

Spectacular views, friendly staff, and satisfied husband! We got chips and salsa- chips are amazing- hot and fresh, salsa is more like pace picante so with that was a little bit spicer. My husband got a burger and fries and he was happy with it! We can't wait to go back for breakfast! Views are worth it all!

Had the bang bang shrimp tacos. They were really good but they was more like grilled shrimp tacos. The server was really nice and the vibes of the place is really cool. Wish I could of went fishing afterwards.

Really nice location in the water - great for lunch and drinks. Service was fine and pricing reasonable. The Chicken Salad platter is special! Recommended.

We dined here for the first time today and had a good experience. We were seated quickly and our food came out pretty fast as well. The ingredients were fresh, portions were large, and prices were reasonable. I got the homemade key lime pie home for dessert and it was pretty good too. (I forgot to take a picture.) The view was great and the setting was peaceful. The kids really enjoyed all the ducks around the docks. We all really liked the outdoor dining area as well, and we typically choose to eat inside any other time. This place is open year round and can be accessed via land or water. Great little spot. I would eat here again. Our bill was around 35.00 for 4 people with drink, food, and dessert. We all left full and had leftovers. Not too shabby.

The food was typical diner fare, but the view is amazing and the servers were really welcoming.

We originally were sat at a smaller four-person table right by the roll up windows towards the front of the restaurant, and the draft was so intense, we were freezing even with jackets on. We asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did (although that spot wasn't much better), and placed another couple at the original table. Within minutes they had the same issue... bundling up, switching seats around, etc. our waitress seemed on the younger side, and maybe even new. But she appeared visibly confused with just about every request we had. Her response was usually "uhhhh..... okay" followed by us getting wrong drinks/food. The food overall was decent. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy and the ranch was great. Their fries were delicious. It likely wouldn't be my first choice in picking a place to eat, but I do believe it deserves a second chance. I'll be going back when it's warmer to hopefully have a different experience.

We ordered and our food looked very scrumptious when it was brought to the table. We did have a few issues however, actually questions mostly. Number 1, the overeats air ducts cooled off our food very quickly. Number 2, what is the deal with baked potatoes? They aren't available until after 4pm. I know for a fact you can cook a baked potato anytime of the day...the potato doesn't care. Number 3, I looked above my head just over our booth and the pendant light had quite a few cobwebs coating it. Overall, it w as a great meal and loved the inside decor and the service. I recommend for a special occasion.

We were immediately seated and waited on by Chandler who did a great job. My colleague ordered the Hickory Falls Rotisserie Chicken Salad which she said was excellent, and couldn't finish. The parking lot was packed and every table was full when we walked in, which is usually a great sign. The gal at the front desk let us know there would be a short wait, and sure enough, about 10 minutes later we were seated. We overheard that they were short staffed due to a callout, but honestly, you would not have known it from how smoothly things were moving. Our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she got our order in quickly despite juggling multiple tables. My husband went with the hot club sandwich and fries, and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings. Let me just say, the food came out fast and absolutely delivered. My husband's sandwich had that picture perfect cheese pull moment that you hope for but rarely get, and it tasted just as good as it looked! My chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the onion rings truly stole the show. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, lightly seasoned, and just the right texture with every bite. Easily some of the best I have ever had. It is easy to see why this place stays busy. The Glade Diner has that classic, well-loved feel where good food and friendly service come together in the best way. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again just to work your way through the menu. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This place will surprise you with the interior space (beautifully decorated) plus the outside seating which is also pet friendly. I went upstairs and sat at the bar where I met Kate...she is a non-stop dynamo behind the bar with a fun personality. The two dishes I enjoyed were specials for the evening and may not be available when you visit. My appetizer...black mussels in an elegant cream sauce...this dish blew me away. Make sure you dip the bread in the sauce, it was so good I was tempted to order another helping. For dinner the fried Grouper over a bed of gnocchi and a drizzle of aioli was incredible. The breading was light, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the combination of flavors was very well done. While I am not a fan of the texture of gnocchi...this was really good with the cream sauce. What sets this place apart...the people! Yes...the food is great! But when you spend four hours enjoying a great meal, intriguing conversation, and a smattering of food theory you know you've found a bit of paradise. My wife also let me try her chicken piccata with seasonal vegetables, which were both amazing. All of the staff was welcoming and our server was knowledgeable of the menu and made good recommendations. We went on a Saturday night and they had live music upstairs, which was a great surprise. The band was very talented. If you haven't been yet, you need to check this place out, and if you went before, you should give it another chance. We will definitely be back!
