From the initial consultation with David to the final cleanup, their team was friendly, professional, efficient, and skilled. The roofing proposal was very nicely presented. The quote contained details of the cost, the materials to be used and the warranty information, as well as Action Roofing's WorkSafe and insurance certificate, etc. They used high-quality materials and paid meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a roof that not only looks fantastic but also provides us with peace of mind. The work was completed in 1 1/2 days without any inconveniences or issues. Cleanup was thorough; not so much as a single nail left behind. We selected GAF's System Plus Roofing System, but Action Roofing went the extra mile of installing additional roof vents and upgrading materials to upgrade us to GAF's Golden Pledge Warranty at no additional cost, and registering the warranty with GAF on our behalf after the job was completed. The bill was as originally quoted, with no addition costs or other surprises. We couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Action Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services. My…read morewife and I elected to hire them to convert our aging cedar shake roof to asphalt shingles in July 2016. Harjit and his crew began work on time. I've never seen such an organized trades crew, ever. They all knew exactly what to do, and how it was meant to be done. I found out that the least senior crew member was 6 years with the company, and that they had guys who had been aboard since 1996! The experience was evident. The crew was also very polite. They were keen to explain anything I had questions about, were very respectful of my home, and were very unobtrusive. Great to have these guys on my property. They removed our old roofing in less than two hours, had the new sheathing on in less an hour, underlay shortly after, and were applying shingles right around lunch. All existing fittings and flashing were replaced. They make extensive use of a high lift truck, using it for waste removal and delivery of materials to the roof. Gone are the days of guys huffing things up and down a ladder. All the materials were flying around (literally!) with ease, making the process look very clean and simple. And so fast - the entire process was 8 1/2 hours, including lunch! They removed all my gutter protection and cleaned my gutters at no additional cost, and replaced everything wonderfully. Cleanup was just as good. I have a four year old son who wants nothing more than to run around the house in the summer. After days of looking, I have yet to find a single nail loose on the ground. It's amazing. The cleanup was very, very thorough. And finally, I have a beautiful, amazing new roof on my house. The whole place looks twenty years younger. It's as good a job as I've ever seen. My hat is off to Harjit and H&I Roofing. They came highly recommended and still managed to exceed my very high expectations. I cannot say enough good things about these guys, and would recommend them to absolutely anybody. Perfect job.

For a while it was between them and another company, but, as soon as we told Darrell that his initial estimate was a bit higher then his potential competition, he quickly matched the price and negotiated from there any additions (chimney, gutters, etc). The crew that came were friendly enough, and surprisingly quiet - they weren't blasting music or having loud conversations. They also cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. The entire roof with plywood installation (we didn't have any!) + tearing down our chimney to the roofline took 1.5 days. The gutters an additional 1/2 a day a few days later. The criticisms we had were: 1) Chimney bricks left a few pits on our lawn. - Darrell apologized and said in the future with others they would lay plywood down so the bricks don't do any damage. 2) There was leftover concrete/mess from the roofing in our gutters - they knew this was going to be replaced but it wasn't done until a few days later so on the first rainy (stormy) day afterwards, there was a back up and water pooled and poured off the edges. Darrell was surprised by this and said he'd make sure this wouldn't happen in the future. Other then that, it was a good experience. I don't feel that I paid excessively but I also don't feel that I got an incredible deal. Having said that I would recommend the company to my friends/family. It was all fair and I'm happy with the work/experience.
