I can toss his toy into the water, and he joyfully retrieves it every time. The park also has scenic trails and picnic benches, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful outing. Just a heads-up: the path down to the water can be a bit slippery and muddy, so wear sturdy shoes and skip your best outfit. Bug spray is also a must, especially if you visit during warmer months. I'd recommend going during off-peak hours for a more tranquil experience, but even when there are more people, everyone has been friendly, and it never feels overcrowded. Bohemian Park is not just a dog park--it's a great place to enjoy nature and relax. Gravel and dirt parking too btw.

The park offers numerous recreational activities, such as disc golf, playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking trails. It encompasses the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile Botanical Gardens, and Playhouse in the Park. In addition, the park features tennis courts (the Mobile Tennis Center), and athletic fields for baseball and softball. Langan Park is also a popular spot for outdoor concerts and family outings. Many of the trees are labeled by genus and species. Plus, there is a large body of water that harbors the natural habitat for many birds, insects and other aquatic life. The 2.5 mile diameter sidewalk in the park is perfect for walking or running; though, It is not good for rollerskating in-line skating or skateboarding. Mostly because the mandatory crevices in the sidewalk are too wide (in some places) for the small wheels to navigate them safely. Seemingly, The maintenance crew does not keep the sidewalk very clear from debris. This could seriously injure a skateboarder or roller skater. It (a nasty fall from debris on the sidewalk) has happened to me twice already in the last six months. Minus 1 star for maintenance. Otherwise I completely enjoy walking in the park

This park has a lot. Always clean, litter free, pet friendly, great for kids, families, couples, etc. Tons of wildlife: ducks, geese, fish, turtles, rabbits, squirrels, an occasional alligator sighting in the lake areas (warm weather usually). Every time I come here, I always find something cool or new that keeps me coming back. Safe, there is a police station and military reserve located in the park near the museum. Directly across Ziegler Blvd from Mobile Japanese Gardens.

This park has two playgrounds, two baseball diamonds, and a splash pad with a sensor. There was a paved walking trail that I saw a few people besides myself using. What was really awesome was there were two tortoise dens here, I saw a huge Eastern Gopher Tortoise, they are endangered, I think it is so cool that this giant tortoise almost as big as my dog was just hanging out, looking at us. This park is on Old Tanner Williams Road, which dead ends at Big Creek Lake, the main reservoir for Mobile County. That section of the road is gated off to vehicles, there is a large gate blocking access, so if you want access to Big Creek Lake, just drive to Fox Landing in Semmes off of Halls Mills Road, it dead ends at the lake. This park is technically in Wilmer.

There are restrooms, but they were locked when I visited. The tennis court is in need of repaving, it looks pretty neglected. Too much trash on the ground near the parking lot. Saw other people on the walking trail as well early in the morning. My dog liked this park. Has a pavilion you can rent, plus other tables & benches. Unlike some of the parks in Mobile, this park is not muddy in some spots.

I came here to Centennial Plaza or also know as Foley Park just randomly. It was a quiet Sunday and…read morealthough I had no intentions of hanging out here, Foley Park was a good spot to simply sit down on a bench and relax. In fact, a lot of people were passing through the park so it was a beautiful day outside to sort of "people watch". Foley Park or this Centennial Plaza is located right off the main road while driving through Foley. Well, just to back up a little...the real reason I was visiting Foley was to have lunch at famous...Lambert's Cafe, where I hear they're known for throwing rolls all over the place and serving vintage southern fried food and catfish. I was excited to go to Lambert's. The only problem was when I arrived at Lambert's, the line to even put my name down on the wait list extended out to the front door. Ugh, what a disappointment. So...I decided to return to Lambert's later on in the day. And that's how I discovered this Centennial Plaza/Foley Park. Just needing a place to hang out for a little, this Foley Park was ideal to walk around and take it easy. When I visited here back in autumn, the weather was perfect and I actually appreciated sitting down on one of the many benches while taking a step back and simply chilling out. Hopefully, eventually, Lambert's would settle down a little and then I could return. I actually spent about two hours here at Centennial Plaza and enjoying the setting and cozy surroundings of the park. It was a pleasant way to break up my Sunday. Unfortunately when I left here and returned to Lambert's Cafe, the line was still very long and pretty unbearable to wait out. Too bad. In the end, I never got to sit down and eat at Lambert's. And for me being from South Florida and along my cross country road trip, I knew I wasn't returning here to Foley anytime soon. Well, still, I'd just like to point out how I liked my time spent here at Centennial Plaza/Foley Park. This was a cool spot I discovered on a whim and basically hanging out here, walking around and casually taking a seat on a bench was a good way to pass the time regardless of whether I got to eat at Lambert's or not. Although this park is just your typical quiet, public venue in the heart of Foley, I'd like to give it some recognition and a positive mention.
