Biloxi Dog Park

Biloxi Dog Park

This was originally a unused baseball park converted into a dog park with two separate areas. 1 big…read moredog and 1 small dog area. Has a hose connected to a water Spicket, it has two picnic tables, a wooden bench, two separate single metal bleacher benches, an small awning, 2 kids dog baby water pool, dog barrel trash can for poo. Some people left open plastic jugs and plastic Walmart bags for picking up dog poo on the fence. There are no trees and limited shade. It's next to a library fire station combo. There is a soccer field and tennis courts on that small road next to the dog park. 3-4 stars. I use it often and drive there. My dog loves going. There are more dog parks around if you don't like this particular one. The people that are consistently going daily are generally nice. Sometimes park is empty, sometimes you can have up to 15 big dogs and four little ones at a time. Most owners keep track of their dogs.

I really appreciate it when a city has a dog park at all, so complaining seems... rude. There is a…read morelarge fenced in area for big dogs and a smaller attached fenced in area for small dogs. The small dog area has one picnic table and the big dog area has about three seating options. The park is almost completely dirt/mud with some grass trying to grow on the perimeter. There are no poop bags, so people have resorted to typing plastic bags on the fence. The bags get ripped off and plastic bits are left behind so it look a little trashy. If you come here, you need to bring your own bags. Seems like some people just leave their dogs waste on the ground and as far as I could tell there is little to no maintenance done. This seems like a park where it is up to the community to take care of it.

This is a great public space with the amenities fitting of its name. If you have littles, then just…read moreknow it is an outstanding, safe play area that fosters inclusion and welcomes all. There are walking trails that go through the woods, an off-leash dog area, and multiple mixed-use sportsball/athletic fields. On hot days, the splash pad area is the place to be, making for a safe space for kids and families to cool off and enjoy the sun. The frisbee disc golf course is one of the real hooks to the park, nicely laid out and maintained, and providing differing levels of challenge. Public restrooms are all around, the playground and splash pad area have soft landing spots, and it is generally well lit and safe all through the park. There are even several canopy areas with tables, allowing for picnics or other gathering use and mostly just to get out of the Alabama sun. Get out and enjoy the greenspace, Mobile, it's a beautiful place.

This park is very popular and in a good area of town. This park includes a playground, restrooms, a…read moresplash pad, dog park, tennis courts, disc golf, amphitheater, baseball diamonds, soccer field, football field, paved walking paths, and unpaved walking trails in the woods. There is a small gymnasium for gymnastics in the MAWSS water tower. Parking is decent, but I have never visited on game days. ALOT of people walking and running. Park is open from dawn to dusk like all other parks in Mobile. The playground is the best of all the parks in my opinion. It is fairly busy, but not so much that would make you visit elsewhere.

Nice dog park with plenty of room for pups to play. There are two different sections, one is for…read morelarge dogs and the other is for small dogs. The play areas do have quite a bit of dirt during the colder months. My dog enjoyed roaming around and even had a chance to play with another dog even though we visited on a rainy day. There are poop bags available for use and there is plenty of parking!

Searching for True Love & Forgiveness? Talk to GOD and get a…read moreDOG! #ReflectDogs Love & Forgiveness Okay, although this dog park is much larger than it looks, and it is definitely a solid four plus dog Star Park, it was while we were at the park, this park in particular, that the webmaster notified us that Young Lady's animal rescue charity was now up and live!! So I got an extra point for that alone!! It was the culmination of a two-year journey through well over 1000 dog parks that she took me on, so I could really see the love and forgiveness in action. This park has just about anything and everything you could want. From what appears to be a complete Forest up in the back corner too wide open area for them to run in and the rest of the park. There are plenty of water faucets and poop bag dispensers and trash cans and trees and places to sit. The people were more than friendly and the dogs all had a great time!! The Gated entry is very easy to use and has a concrete slab. There is also a nice concrete pathway that takes you out to the sitting area so if you have Mobility difficulties or are in a wheelchair, you can easily make it out to the seating area. All the wood benches have nicely carved memorials in them. The small dog park is bigger than most big dog parks. My only question would be, who decided putting the squirrel feeder right in the middle of the dog park was a good idea, don't get me wrong, I love it!! I'm just not sure the squirrels knew what they were in for when they headed down into it to get a nut!! Anyway this park is absolutely incredible and a very fitting park for us to launch the animal rescue charity!!
