I don't know who Paddy is or where his lantern resides but this confusing title is about as negative as I can get about this place. From a train driver barista, to a hord of trendy looking bearded men making coffee and food for you this place is a haven for women and even the odd beard-fan man. Holy trout the Smoked Ocean Trout on pumpkin bread with horseradish cream is finger-licking good! Sam (the owner) says "we're more about serving up good coffee here," but I tend to disagree... these guys talk down their ability to serve simple, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and linner (yes lunch and dinner) or even lessert (dessert for lunch). Arguably however, these boys obviously take a lot of pride in serving up good coffees too (with bonsoy to add - tick!). They must have had experience with similar customers to me saying "I really want another but I'll be climbing the walls if I do - how can you help me?" because they certainly know how to make a mean (I can't believe it's not coffee) decaf. The layout of the cafe is simple, there aren't many chairs outside, but it's light enough inside to make you feel like you are in an open aired warehouse most days. What a great little local!

I love hitting up places outside of the main CBD so after hearing so much about this place in the community (especially the lovely Rifa) I just had to check this little wonder out. I just grabbed a large coffee and fell in love whilst my partner got the eggs on toast which was pretty delicious! Love the vibe!

Busy during lunch periods and weekends with the locals, you will need to get here early to get a good spot. The café is not that big, so be sure to take that into consideration depending on the time of the day. All of the tables are lined with butchers paper and crayons are on offer for the kids to draw, while parents enjoy some well earned recharge time. I love that the café collects fun drawings and pops them up on the wall to display! I can imagine that children would love to see their pieces of art on the wall when they return. If you need coffee, you will fine strong and flavoursome beans here. Just what I love! I like a well rounded coffee that picks me up with a kick of caffeine. That is why I always order a strong flat white. And that is exactly what I received. Perfect! After a long morning, coffee always goes well with a treat. Oh yeah, bring on the Dutch Style Brownie. A little drier than most brownies; But I think that is the style. Nice chocolate flavour and really hit the spot. I am told that the brekkie and lunch here are also really good. So I endeavour to return to try that as well. Last thing to point out, the staff are really lovely. Be sure to know that you and your guests will be well looked after.

They have an all day breakfast, lunch and snacks menu which ranges from a few dollars to around $13 for the bigger meals. Vegetarian & gluten free options available, and they'll happily mix and match if the selection doesn't quite fit your bill. They're currently only closed Monday and open 8-4 Tuesday - Saturday; 9-4 Sunday. It's tiny (maybe 5 tables) with a few spots outside, but well worth putting on your coffee route. Masses of parking around the back, but slow down coming up Magill Road or you'll miss it. Keep an eye out for their big yellow sign and a couple of yellow chairs out the front.

Coffee came in grubby cup which I cleaned off myself. Staff are way way too inattentive and laid-back. I mean come on get your finger out guys. And how about focusing on customers not the "talent"! Menu is overpriced I mean add $2.50 for an additional poached egg! I could almost buy a whole hen for that (‍ joke)! All in all a mediocre/poor experience. We will avoid it next time.

This little offering sits pretty on Goodwood road and wants to tell you that you're stupid for going anywhere else and spending more than the bargain basement prices they have on offer for breakfast and brunching, most hitting under ten dollars. The menu is short and sweet, speaking of sweet bring your sweetner since only raw sugar is on offer here *insert joke about T&S being sweet enough*. Having lunch with some friends I grabbed a large coffee which was hella large, hella yummy and hella quick. They tried the BLT (of which I nicked the cheeky eggs on the side) both simple and delicious whilst the steak snaga with caramelised onions, the special of the day, really dazzled. Really cool venue again heed warning if you're super duper picky as the menu is pretty thin. Best for a bright sunny day, with a coffee and paper on hand.

The location is awesome. Right next to North Adelaide train station (practically on the platform) and close to a road that has considerable morning traffic this place should do very well. Looking over the menu there were a variety of selections to appeal to everyone, including veggos! I decided on a toastie with smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
