Opened in 1975, the Bargain Box is the oldest church mission thrift store in Naples, Florida…read more Almost 50 years strong, the store is run by volunteers from Naples United Church of Christ. Donated items are given to individuals and families in the community in need and profits are distributed through the church charities. To date they have donated more than $1 million to charities that provide human services locally and globally. They have also partnered with 30 local Collier County charities including Neighborhood Health Clinic, Healthcare Network of SW Florida, Meals of Hope, Baby Basics, Echo, Dental Outreach, Grace Place, Literacy Volunteers, and Habitat for Humanity. I was pleasantly surprised to see the store was much larger than I thought it would be from the outside. Several rooms are filled with gently used furniture, a ladies boutique with name brand and designer clothing, accessories, men's clothes, children's clothes, jewelry, art, holiday decorations, books, and more. Prices were great and I loved the selection of like new merchandise. The volunteers were so friendly. Furniture prices are negotiable and they were having an additional sale on select items. Hours are rather limited, they are only open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-3 so it makes it difficult to shop here if you have to work more traditional 9 to 5 weekday work hours. In any case I am glad that I finally got to stop in and support the great work that they do for this community.

The Bargain Box has an excellent variety of merchandise all at excellent prices. They have the…read morenicest most helpful volunteers anyone could ask for. This is definitely my very favorite thrift shop in the entire Naples/Bonita Springs area.

Best Salvation Army Thrift Store I've ever shopped at. Walk into this place and you'll experience a…read moresensory overload. Beautiful oak, mahogany, cherry, and wicker tease the eye and every kind of furniture in between can be had. It's all beautifully curated and staged. Children's section, gently used appliances, and things arranged according to style: Mid-Century Modern, West-Indies, Tropical Beach, Farmhouse Country, Oriental, and so on. There's a very nice kitchen section for small appliances, bakeware, glassware, etc. Jewelry up front and curios, and bric-a-brac fill every available nook and cranny. Nice book section w a comfy leather love seat. There's a dedicated year-round Christmas section for holiday freaks. I don't come here for clothing so sorry that I can't offer my perspective. I've come upon some very nice treadmills, high-end air purifiers and bicycles, fancy microwaves and a nice wine cooler. What you see on the floor is only a fraction of what they have in storage. It's quite amazing the different selection of things you will find here on each visit. Don't come here expecting a bargain but don't leave thinking you won't find a good deal either. I find that things are priced fairly for a high-end thrift store and like most places, they refer to eBay as their Kelley bluebook.

I have never been in a Salvation Army Thrift Store that is identified as super expensive, I'm…read moretalking about $$$$ prices! So we had to check it out! This is an affluent area of older, retired people who maybe get tired of their things or want a change or have passed away and their items are donated. The operative word is DONATED so the money can be used for the non-profit mission Salvation Army does....BUT what I saw was over priced if not full priced items for sale! Shame on management there...your goal should to be to sell everything that is donated at less then "reasonable" priced 2nd hand, thrift store prices! If it is not sold in 4-6 months you priced it TOO high! You are not a retail store, price it accordingly!! Do the good work people think you are doing thus we donate to you instead of Goodwill!

We don't have Goodwill stores like this in New England. I walked away with some brand new earring for only a few dollars. I was looking for large white hoops. Score! On top of the great staging, it was clean. Then to top it off, they were selling snack in the checkout line. This is top notch Goodwilling!

I made countless trips to this location for drop off donation. I like this store it's clean and organized. I've wanted to purchase several things in this store but the pricing is not done properly. Everything is 3 times what it would be BRAND new at Home Goods or even Market Place on Facebook. The other day I was shopping and a women next to me said she had been coming here for 12 years and she said the pricing is getting out of control. Very disappointing. I left the store and went to the Tamiami trail location by plant fitness. Items very similar to the other location had proper pricing for what it was. This nonprofit mission is to Sell donated items such as clothing, furniture, electronics, and household goods at affordable prices. Can we please make an adjustment To match pricing at the other locations?

Some of the brand names I saw included Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kate Spade, Prada, Chanel, and a large selection of Lily Pulitzer. The owner Bonnie was very friendly and she explained to me how the pricing works. Clothing is priced based on how long it is in the shop. A Patricia Nash purse I liked was priced at $129 but if it is still here in December it will sell for $90. If you can't make it to the store in person the Designer Consignor Consignment has an Instagram account you can follow that features some of their best items including that turquoise leather purse. Another adorable bag that caught my eye was beaded to look like a watermelon making it the perfect summer picnic outfit accessory. There is a dressing room area in the back of the store so you can try on clothes. They also sell shoes and other accessories. You can bring in your gentle used and mint designer items to sell for a split of the profits.
