What better place to do it in Dallas than at Window Seat Coffee? They have a great selection of coffees to choose from, and they have great study spots for studying, working or different things to do. I was pleased with the staff who took care of me and made sure I enjoyed my time there in Dallas. Only thing to keep in mind is the parking situation, since it's sandwiched in a shopping strip, be prepared (if you're lucky) to find parking in the front or park a little ways to walk to this place. Definitely worth the walk though! Keep an eye on the hours since they close early somedays... get that work done in the morning!

The barista was friendly and helped me pick out the right beans and prepared a delicious shot for me. Had a shot of their Midnight beans. Got a to-go latte for my wife and she was very happy with it. Since I wanted to knit I sat at that bar to work on my project. I got a dirty chai latte and it was amazing!!! So rich and strong! I sat in there for an hour knitting. The grand opening featured prizes, free perks, the ever popular "Bookish Bazaar" vendor market hosted by Pretty Little Things Market NTX. Despite the enormous space, it actually got pretty crowded. This shop expands on the original flagship near the University of Texas at Arlington. The 5,500-square-foot space has the same multi-level mezzanine layout (called "The Grotto") built for studying and remote work. The huge loft was developed in partnership with the national developer Mill Creek Residential, which selected Inclusion Coffee "as the anchor tenant to satisfy the city's Mixed-Income Housing Development Bonus (MIHDB) zoning requirements, which mandate an "active ground floor" and I can say it was very active. The menu matches the Arlington store, using a rotating multi-roaster coffee system alongside food items like handmade rosemary sausage, everything bacon hand pies, and picadillo tacos (what I ordered today - basic but satisfying). It's an exceptionally good spot for studying or working. And location near the Trinity Riveris pretty unbeatable. On a very side tangent, the founder Joshua Levi Moore was there with his family. He is actually a writer and is published under the name J.L. Moore. He regularly hosts book-themed markets like the "Bookish Bazaar". He has said that he uses real customer interactions to shape his fictional characters. For example, "the stressed students and remote workers in his cafes inspired the protagonist, TC Beaudreaux, in his first novel, Stranger in the Crowd and also includes real North Texas travel routes such as Interstate 30 and Dallas Love Field. My notes here: 1992 - 1996: Joshua Levi Moore attended the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management. 2009 - 2017: Coffee Apprenticeship & First Novel Around 2009, Moore took a job at Buon Giorno Coffee in Grapevine, Texas, training under owners David and Leyna Clarke. Despite not being a coffee drinker at the time, he spent years learning European roasting techniques and craft espresso preparation. Moore specifically sought out the early 5:30 AM shifts so he would have a schedule conducive to writing his debut novel. I could taste the quality and how they had recently roasted the beans. I enjoyed the richness and depth of the coffee beans in the espresso. I also really liked the kougin amann - I feel this is how they should taste; crispy outside, fruity inside, no hassle when I chew and keeps me relaxed. The staff is exceptional - I liked how the owner struck up a conversation with us about where we are from and my friends traveling. The vibes are that of a roastery with massive brick walls like a Brooklyn warehouse with cozy seats, games, and (assuming) art from where they get their beans. I'll be returning :)

The employees were super friendly to me this morning! This coffee shop reminded me of a cafe in Berkeley or Oakland back home which is nice. This is a great coffee shop to go to. I highly recommend it.
