Much bigger on the inside than you'd expect. I had to check it out since I have the same last name as this bar, and I totally dig the vibe at this place but like others have stated, the bartender (who inherited the bar) should probably hire another bar tender to do the people relations because she's a little rough around the edges. She also measured out my shots which I can't even remember the last time I saw someone do that and sorry to admit is just the last thing I want to see.

Fresh mushrooms, red onions and leaf lettuce. Way too much yum for the price.

Horrible service. Woman at the bar was combative. We will never go back. Used to be a great place!

I live in New York City where you can get the best of the best and this is some of the best food…read moreI've ever had. I didn't remember to get photos because it was so delicious we just dove right in. A large group of us (9) went to Nana's close to 5ish on a Saturday and they gladly accommodated us. The server was very friendly, even offering to split our bill into 9 separate checks. Every single person loved their food. I got the chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and gravy. We also shared the baked Brie. It was so incredibly flavorful and you could tell it was made on site. The Irish bread was dense but not too much so. A 20 oz beer was only $8 and they have a great selection. The only feedback I have would be that while the fish and chips tasted fresh and the breading was pretty good, it could be more flavorful. It needed quite a bit of salt. We got desserts to go and I imagine those will be incredible too! If I ever find myself back in the area, I'll definitely be back.

We ordered Nana'a Meatloaf, Traditional Irish Breakfast and Chocolate Brandy Bread Pudding. Glad I didn't order the breakfast however my husband liked it very much. Nana's Meatloaf was wonderful (however not hot enough, just lukewarm). Bread pudding again was just lukewarm. The ambiance was very nice and what you like Ireland dining would be like. Jill was a good server but as I mentioned in the beginning it was busy right at the start.

The crowd here is normal, grown ass, friendly folks and not young kids looking to party. I really appreciate that about this spot. Not sure what is going on in the downstairs area but it looks like they are working on putting up some new decorations and neon signs so I look forward to seeing that whenever it's done.

This review is based on 3 visits over the past 2 years…read more The first time, the burger and fries for lunch was quite good. So...I came back just a few days later. But this time, the same burger and fries were much more expensive because its...night time? Got to remove that lunch menu I guess. Make no mistake, this is a dive bar. The place is moderately dingy with karaoke, slot machines, and worn pool tables with stereotypical clientele that accompany the aforementioned. If you can't appreciate any of that, sitting at the bar look up at the ceiling tiles to document quite a few memories that most likely should forgotten. 2 Broke Bartenders doesn't qualify for being a genuine hard core dive bar. Just a dive bar that is on the fringe of "being there" and hasn't gone under...yet. However, it's probably the divest of dive bars found in the local area. Tourists will typically stay down at the waterfront. My 3rd visit was awful. While the burger is a "smash burger" I believe I made the mistake of not reading all the ingredients that were in the burger because something didn't taste good. I can't remember what the ingredients even were, but it's something that is rarely found in any burger. All I wanted was a basic burger with lettuce onions tomato...you know...the regular stuff. The actual burger meat looked good and was quite thick. But something in that burger tasted very strange. The fries were awful. They arrived limp, very overly greasy and when tasting one...it wasn't even cooked all the way through. So 5 minutes later I explain that the fries are not cooked completely though and suggest she try one of mine, the bartender said "oh some people like them that way." Some people like their fries a bit raw in the middle? My translation...the fryer is worn out and needs to be replaced. She took the fries back, and re-cooked them again. This time the fries were cooked all the way through, but they didn't taste very good. So if you like a burger that tastes...unique, and under-cooked French fries that are limp and very greasy...by all means this is your spot to dine...

I walked in just after opening and was greeted by Heather, a fun and friendly barkeeper! She talked me through some of the spirits offerings and the beers on tap. I decided to have a glass of the F@ck Putin! and a dram of the single malt whiskey. The beer, a special for the support of the Ukraine war effort, was clear, clean and refreshing. What took me most by surprise was the single malt whiskey. Smooth, butter honey notes and a pleasant aftertaste that was appealing. This is not a whiskey that grabs you by the tonsils and won't let go, but rather a friendly sipper to make for an enjoyable drinking experience. My bill came to $13 for the two beverages + tip. They have a limited food menu, but I was really only there for the beverages. The food that went out while I was there looked appealing and my fellow customers all seemed to be enjoying their food. The venue is clean, and will appeal to the tourist crowd with beverages and swag adorning most open surfaces. The view of the boats and bridge are pleasant and I imagine sunset would be lovely there. I will definitely visit again.

Have been to 100's of places and this is definitely one the top 5 in consistently in ambiance, food, details to each plate, table setting, service and to top all of that the view is incredible. They just changed their menu, the entire staff was tasting the new dishes so they could share them with their guests. We sat by the window but we could also watch the kitchen activities and the plating of them. Gordon Ramsey would be so proud of this place. Today we enjoyed with Daniel as our server, Dungeness Crab Cakes, Crab Melt, Cod fish and chips (with delicious pineapple coleslaw) and Marionberry Crisp (best one in Oregon). I really liked the pineapple lemonade and another fruit drink. If you have not had a meal here you MUST TRY 5*!!!!

We tried and would recommend the halibut fish and chips, stuffed seafood shells, blackened salmon burger, and watermelon strawberry salad. Each was memorable for flavors that went the extra mile. The salad had rich creamy cheese that paired perfectly with the fruit. I don't often find salads remarkable but I would honestly say this is a must!! The pink and coconut shrimp appetizers were also exceptional. The broth that accompanied the shrimp was a surprising compliment, quite delicious and unexpected. The huckleberry cocktail was a fun item that tasted just like the berry with a hint of lemon. Definitely novel and loved the sugar rim with the slightly tart drink. Our group of six was seated immediately on a Monday afternoon without a reservation. Service was great and pleasantly quick. Gorgeous view!! Overlooks the dock and bay with mountains in the distance. Seals and sea lions chill out beneath the pier, providing a show. We seated indoors where large windows provided everyone a beautiful view, but there was outdoor seating available as well.

We were a tad bit early (around 7:15), but they said our table was ready. We sat upstairs in what felt like the forgotten corner. Waiter took until 7:45 to even recognize us/hand us menus. Then when he came back, we both ordered an old fashioned and appetizer (chicken eggrolls). Only one drink came out 30 minutes later and the rock was about 70% melted and very watered down. Waiter said the bartender forgot and only made one. Once the waiter dropped off the second drink, about 10 minutes later, we ordered the Steak Bites Dianne and Green Chile Chicken Tacos to share. Oh, don't forget about the eggrolls. They did! And they were out. It took him almost an hour to tell us the eggrolls were unavailable. So we picked a different appetizer (potstickers) which showed up after all the other food. Now, I'll give credit where credit is due. They did comp the appetizer. After finishing round one (well before any sort of food showed up), my husband asked for Blantons. Let's talk food. It was honestly awful, which was so disappointing from all the reviews I've received from friends. The steak bites were like unseasoned stew meat you couldn't even chew. The sauce they came in was lukewarm. The tacos were very dry, but great flavor. They were also lukewarm. And the potstickers came out last, the only thing that was hot. Those were pretty good, but a little greasy. After we were done, we told the waiter we wanted to check out, and to forget the Blantons since my husband still didn't receive it (he ordered well before dinner arrived). I was honestly very disappointed. It seemed that the other tables upstairs were being treated in a timely manner. We watched as the downstairs folks sat down, ate, drank, and left. And we were still upstairs. Maybe a better experience downstairs. We were going to get breakfast here, but decided to go to Georgie's or Clearwater instead.
