From start to finish this team of three (I wish I could remember their names) was the picture of customer service. I could not ask for a better experience or kinder or more or professional men. They were removing and taking our old fridge with them and then installing our brand new one. Between navigating the water valves, measuring doorways to ensure no damage, cleaning the fridge and floor after install, and the constant communication during the process - I can only send virtual kudos and say thank you! Day one after receiving them, wash one, water was everywhere. All over the floors, lower part of the walls in the Landry room and hallway. We called, they said they would call by EOD to schedule a service appointment because there was water damage and no one called. So we followed up the next day. They said they would call to set a service appointment... no call. My wife called again. She spoke with Jim the service manager. He assured her that he would have someone come out at a certain date and time. She subsequently got a confirmation text with completely different info than what was discussed. We were then sitting at one week without a washer. Made one last call to speak to the store manager. He didn't seem the least bit concerned about our issue. Seemed like I was bothering him by calling. I told him to just come and get them and issue a FULL refund. Guess what... got a refund. Not a full one. They refused to refund the delivery fee for delivering damaged equipment. And, they didn't even hook up the dryer correctly either. We paid extra for a steam kit and such, never even installed it. EE is a joke! Heck - we were even told by one of their employees, there was a manufacturer defect in some of these models but that they would rectify it. And still got nowhere with them. What a waste of time and money (the delivery fee). We will never do business with them again. Truly, terrible customer service experience.

Everyone is helpful, friendly and courteous. The young men who work there are always respectful. They were all obviously raised right. Just like you'd expect from a small town hardware store. Kenneth has been the standout. I've purchased a couple of Stihl power tools and Kenneth went out of his way to get them registered with the manufacturer for me. He's always friendly and helpful whenever I have an issue with them. He's beyond patient. He never makes me feel foolish even when I bring in a tool after I've done something lame brained. He's an excellent teacher. He's very good with explaining things. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather go than Guthrie's here in Chapel Hill. The service is outstanding.
