Deviled Egg Co. - 6 pack

First off. 35 dollars for six eggs with a little toppings is outrageous. Also... it was a take out…read moreonly place. We walked there in the rain then had to walk back... in the rain to eat overpriced eggs in the car. And to ask for a tip for just making the eggs from premade ingredients... no. Sorry but no. And for a company that sells deviled eggs... the egg itself was tiny and rubbery. Please do better.

Large selection of deviled eggs with options allowing you to try multiple ones! You can also get egg salad, in a bowl, on a bagel, or in a larger container. Catering available. Order at counter. This is mostly A TO GO PLACE as there is only one two top inside. The area does have a couple tables outside and benches you could eat at overlooking the lake. Staff were beyond friendly and willing to walk you through the menu. They truly cared about making it a good experience and crafting the eggs perfectly - which looks tedious. I got a 6 PACK and enjoyed every single one! Chicken Caesar (top left) BLTE (top middle) Everything Seasoning (top right) - simply delicious! Ballpark (bottom left) Cheeseburger (bottom middle) Chicken Bacon Ranch (bottom right) The different yolk mixtures are great with preserving the integrity of the deviled egg while amping it up just enough to make you go, WOW! It's amazing how they can perfectly pack so much in such a small vessel to get the complete taste of the item in each bite. Kudos Deviled Egg Co! I hope we see more locations in the Metroplex as you grow!

This is one of my favorite brunch spots! The staff is friendly and accommodating. I love crepes but…read moreI don't like sweet crepes. I asked the server to ask the kitchen if they could make me a savory crepe, and they did it for me. I had two crepes with spinach, mushrooms, and mozzarella with an extra side of hollandaise. It was so delicious! It was everything I was hoping it would be. I think I was charged a base price for the crepes, then individually charged for each added ingredient. But it was no problem because it's not on the menu, and it was no more expensive than the sweet crepes anyway. Plus, they accommodated me with me no problem. Their lattes are really good as well. The restaurant itself is a nice quiet place with lots of natural light and open space. There is a bar also, for the bar people who don't like to sit at tables or in booths. Also, the Benedict and brunch potatoes are really good too!

There were not many options for cold coffee and the bartender attempted to make an iced americano which wasn't great and forgot to bring any type of sweetener for it. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and two over easy eggs. The chicken fried steak needed more seasoning for me but it did have a tang to it. Not sure if it's from the marinade but the tangy flavor was there. The hash browns were nice and crispy and eggs cooked perfectly. What saved the chicken fried steak was the bottle of hot sauce they had at the bar. It was not labeled so hard to tell what exactly it was but it was delicious. We also ordered biscuits and a side of gravy and I felt like that should be on the menu as a dish. The biscuits were nice and soft and the gravy had a lot of flavor. I'd definitely like to come back and try some of the sweeter options such as waffles or pancakes. If you are in the Rockwall area check this place out

It's enclosed within the gated…read morecommunity, but it's open to public so there's never any trouble in getting through the gates to go eat here. The portion sizes are always giant here, especially considering the price you pay, which is relatively average for the amount of food you end up giving This time I had the baked spud or whatever they call it on the menu lol I forgot but it came with diced chicken and my only critique with the mail was the lack of chicken on the potato. You do get two potatoes, but I want the protein, not the carbs lol Service is always good efficient waiters and waitresses and the ambience is a bit upscale but also like a sports bar. It's a very pretty place a nice atmosphere and a great place to hang out and relax.

And my biggest pet peeve: entrees AND appetizers came out at the SAME time. Other tables around us got their service in the right order, so... was it us? A table seated after us got their appetizers within 5-10 minutes. Then their mains. Just really shoddy service I'm sad to say. And whatever you do, do NOT order the Spinach Artichoke dip... so runny, watery... probably straight from the microwave. Absolutely inedible. But hey, the view overlooking the lake was nice! UPDATE: To be fair, they did comp us a desert to go, so there's that.

The…read moreinterior is intimate and cozy, giving it that authentic, old-school diner atmosphere that feels like stepping into a different era. Classic music sets the tone, and the entire place gives off those golden-era vibes. The only drawback is the limited seating, which can lead to a line out the door during peak hours. But honestly, that's often a testament to a place doing something right. Now, let's talk about the breakfast. The pancakes are a standout. You can actually taste the vanilla in the batter, giving them a natural sweetness that makes syrup almost unnecessary. That's the kind of detail I appreciate. The breakfast skillets are equally impressive and a reliable choice if you want something hearty and satisfying. You really can't go wrong with them. Beyond the food, the operation deserves credit. The place is well-run, the service is solid, and the overall experience feels consistent with the classic diner identity they've created. All in all, this is a neighborhood-style gem with character, quality breakfast, and an atmosphere that doesn't need to try too hard to stand out. If I find myself back in the area, I'd definitely return to explore the lunch menu.

Some random night we were on Facebook and decided to book tickets to see Troy Ramey perform. Did we…read moreknow who that was? No. But we thiught why not. A. He is fabulous. Let's just say that. Since we were going to the show, why not go for dinner? I mean we have never been. Love that you can book reservations online. Super easy to get through the gate and it has amazing views. We were greeted by the host who was so kind. The place was super busy, I assume due to the show. So, we had to wait about 10 minutes. Table right in the middle of action... 1 min... 2 min... 7 minutes no greeting nothing and a woman walks by and says she will be right us. Cool. Thanks for letting us know. Walks past us 4 more times and nothing. The good thing is clearly someone else noticed and brought us water and said she was helping while the server got caught up. Okay. Everything will be OK. Whole ordering our drinks the server took over. Ordered drinks. App and 2 entrees. Then she was gone. 30 minutes after seating... nothing. Not even drinks yet. 32 minutes... she brings my husband's can of beer. No glass. No manhatten. She says they are working on mine. After 32 minutes (at least 20 minutes after ordering our drink)... can we have a glass? 5+ minutes later she brings me my manhattan... in a wine glass? Before I smell it I ask if its a manhattan because it looked like wine (damn good pour). Her response... I don't know. Never had one before. And still no glass. A. The Manhattan was fabulous and a ridiculously amazing pour. And for the cost... damn. Thats amazing. We decided she never rang in our drinks. Its the only thing that makes sense. It had really quieted down and the bartenders were working hard. And thats fine. But own it. Another 40 minutes and she stopped by once. Said our food was coming. But honestly haven't had a server who seemed to care less about her table in quite a while. Food came about 45 minutes after ordering. We ordered the Philly egg rolls... flavor was awesome. But they were cold. Clearly they had been sitting... for a while. Literally the cheese had melted onto each other and cooled. The entrees came at the same time. Smash burger and chicken fried chicken. Both honestly really good. The mashed potatoes were cold though... not sure if its because they werent kept warm in the prep station or if our plates just died waiting on server. Flavors were good though, including the gravy and fries. Good seasoning. We asked for ranch. Can you believe she never brought it? Nope us either. Seriously. The service was the worst we had in a while. It seemed exlusive to our table/server. I finally got her name at the end... Leandra. I am not trying to put her on blast everyone has a bad night. When my husband asked about the ranch. She said oh I forgot that too.. no apologies for that or the entire night. I said well it has been a rough night... she said yep. Here's the check. We are super nice... lots of grace... but this service made me almost want to not return. But... this is a small business trying to create something for our community. So im going to return oncs more and score is based on potential. But please owners.... staff is hard to come by, and maybe it was a rough night... but no one will survive if 30 minutes with not even drinks and cold food is acceptable. Its a beautiful space, flavorful food and great energy im very hopeful.
