I usually love this place.. the staff is great but last night I went on 3/31 pm and the bartender (I believe her name was Kim) was just so rude to me and my company. She was not attentive, had to ask every time to order something and was rude when we tried to order: idk if she was angry or in a bad mood but the other bartenders were so much more pleasant. I love me some Hooters wings. I wouldnt dare touch any of the other food items on their menu (regular pub food), but their chicken is to die for. I also prefer the carry out, as there is really no big whup to the dining experience, unless your going there to watch a sporting event. Went there on father's day with my family, they gave me ten piece bone less wing for free, that were smaller then chicken nuggets from McDs,along with the rest of our food. all of it was cold or lukewarm. Had to move the paper towel/ketchup holder out of the way it was in the middle of the table, I guess no one has ever done this before, not even the cleaning staff. I come here monthly for all you can eat wings usually, but I do certainly come other nights. Myself and my family and friends usually ask for Nichole, as she knows us, and how to deal with our large family! Last night (Thursday 5/7) I brought my 2 friends from college, my girlfriend, and my brother out to dinner to celebrate our completion of college at UHart. My 2 friends had never had Hooters before and were so excited. This excitement ended quickly. We sat near the front, as most restaurants typically put more experienced servers near the door because they're the first to be sat (I was in the restaurant industry so this is just an assumption based on experience). We were greeted by our waitress Samila. After ordering, we got our drinks and awaited our appetizers. When our appetizers arrived we ordered soda refills. We finished our appetizers and then our first plate of wings came out via what I assumed to be a manager. Our waitress came back next when I was 10 minutes done with my first plate to get our next order of wings when I reminded her of my Pepsi refill which I had to eat my wings without. Then, our girlfriends shrimp and boneless wings came out with no sauce. We waited, and waited, and then finally one of the girls got up to ask a random waitress for ranch which was brought in 2 seconds. Half way through our second plate, my Pepsi came. Then I knew to order a third because I probably would not see her again for a while. About 20 minutes later, the waitress came back and asked how our wings were, and we informed her we hadn't got them. A few minutes later a manager brought our wings out. We were all extremely frustrated by this point. When we arrived we asked if she would want to know who's splitting up checks now so she wouldn't have to figure it out later and she said no it's ok I'll do it later. Well, check time came, and she brought one. I asked her for split checks, and she left the table. 5 minutes later she came back to remember who had Pepsi, who had water, and who had beer. Some time later we got our split checks. My girlfriend and I were charged for the sauce for her boneless wings as "extra sauce" when she had to seek out a random waitress to get the ranch she never got. So disappointed. So frustrated. I go there a few times, usually on Tuesdays for the unlimited boneless. They made the portions smaller so you have to keep asking for more wings, which is hard cause the service sucks. If you aren't drooling over your waitress, then you won't get service. If you're gonna go, make sure you've got a few hours to spare because there is no such thing as a quick meal here. When we go, it's a minimum of 2 hours, for just 2-3 people.... Also, don't ask to split the check, not only will it take forever, but math is their weakness. read more

I use to have a music studio right next door to this place so ordering food to go or hanging out for drinks was okay to me. They make some decent wings and the fried pickles my vegetarian eats also made me a fan! Went there for the first time and everything was DISGUSTING. I should of listened to my 8 year old son who felt uncomfortable from the very beginning we sat at our table. First thing he says to me is how UNCLEAN the place was and how he didn't want to eat there. Well, we though "heck" maybe he's a bit uncomfortable because the girls are showing a bit of skin and just decided to give it a try anyways since out of curiosity we wanted to know the quality of their food because of how everyone talks about it. Let me start off by saying as soon as we walked through the door, the girls were just standing around, didn't seem to care, and said you can't sit anywhere you want, ok fine.........our waitress was friendly, but was on the "whatever" attitude. We ordered our drinks first & cups were dirty, we ended up returning them & getting a to go cup instead, then we ordered everything at once and instructed our waitress to bring the appetizers first, then our meals, sooooo we ordered the burger sliders & wings for appetizers. The burger sliders were DRY and nowhere near freshly cooked. They were way too HOT, as if they placed them in the MICROWAVE with the bread and over-cooked the cheese and beef....the wings were SLIMMY and VEINY and tasted FREEZER BURNT... Next our meals came out....the Cajun breaded shrimps I ordered- which I was looking forward to since I thought to myself, "you can barely go wrong with shrimps" (YEAH right), I was WRONG. The bottom of my plate was with about an ounce of GREASE- no kidding, right? The batter was undercooked & they were extremely SALTY- which when told the waitress she blamed it on the SAUCE, bullcrap! I ate Cajun food before and never had this issue. Yukkkkkk!!! The burger my son ordered was DRY & after taking one bite, he didn't eat anything else, which I was in very much surprised since he LOVES burgers. The fries that came with my sons meal tasted like something they've had in the back of the freezer for a while. The chili my husband ordered had a weird smell to it. I don't normally give reviews, but this one deserves it. This place don't even deserve 1 star. After receiving the RECEIPT, I was in SHOCK.....over $70 for food that was nowhere near good, for the PRICE of a GOOD restaurant and SHITTY service. What a WASTE, will NEVER step a foot in another HOOTER'S restaurant in my life. What a HORRIBLE experience we had. The girls there wasn't anything from what I expected either, there were some that were pretty but they don't have good service unless you're probably drooling over them. People describe this place as if it's a good hangout spot & the food is great, but it's WORSE than a Concession stand. I don't understand how this place is poppin' or in business, maybe because they must be getting their business from DESPERATE customers (gawkers) who wish to see a bit if skin with a meal. Don't WASTE your $$$ or TIME on this place, stay away from this place. You are better off by going to Friendlys or some nearby restaurant for GOOD food. Heckkkk, MC Donald's is better than this place, what does that tell you? If you want a meal with a view then go to a strip club. I am a female & been to strip clubs many times before with my hubby and After going to this place I found them way cleaner than nasty Hooters. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Went tonight for wings. We've been there several times with few issues. Tonight my husband and son ordered 50 hot wings and I ordered 20 medium wings naked and all flaps. They 20 were delivered breaded and the waitress took them back to correct the order. Waited another 10+ minutes then they came out with 15 drumettes and 5 flats. They said they would remake them. My husband and son were finished before they arrived. The manager came over and had no personality at all. She heard our order was wrong, she was sorry and what I ordered was coming. Her voice was monotone and she sounded as if she couldn't care less. Any other place wouldn't have charged me for the order but they still did. Overall poor experience this time around. read more

West coast hooters waitresses are much friendlier. Got the all you can eat wings for 11.9 since i was going to be there for a few hours. Anything buffalo was lacking sauce. Wings were tasty though. Since Hooters has tried to up their food game (better quality and a more extensive menu than bar food) it has become an easier place to stop in and get a bite to eat. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad and a beer. Food was good. Beer was good, service was friendly and reasonably attentive. Price was reasonable. I thought the time to get my food order was a little longer than necessary given how busy the bar was, but that was my only reservation. I would definitely come back again. read more

Came here yesterday with my family to get some hot wings. We waited 45 minutes *not even close to kidding* before someone came to get our drink order. The funny thing was our waitress saw us sit down, and proceeded to giggle and gossip in the aisle next to us with her co-worker. When one of her regulars "she knew him by first name and he knew everyone else so I'm assuming this is what happened" came in she was helping him within 1 minute of him sitting down, meanwhile we're still waiting for someone to ask what we'd like to drink. My husband got the all you can eat wings, I got boneless... The boneless wings are smaller than a kids meal chicken nugget! How is that even possible!!!!! Needless to say we will not be coming back here. The waitress screwed up my husbands order and gave him mild wings instead of hot. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!!! As many others have pointed out, the service at the Wethersfield location is terrible. Went to this location on 3/19/16 with 3 friends who had never been to a Hooters. Sat at the bar, and a team member (Jessica, a trainer) blatantly ignored me when I tried to say Hi and ask for a table. Another guy at the bar said "she's always like that." Bad first impression. First round of drinks took 20 minutes. We saw them sitting on the counter for 15. Told our waitress, and she apologized. Second round of drinks took 30 min. Food was tinely, but 2 of our 4 orders were wrong. They weren't that busy for the number of staff on hand. I had to apologize to my friends, who swear they will never be back to a Hooters. read more

This is a great Hooters, we had a foreign friend who had never been to America visiting and I thought "what is the most American thing he could possibly do? Aha! Eat at Hooter's!". So we went and had a very nice waitress named Summer wait on us on what was a slow night. We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches and wings which our French friend declared "Delicious!" and ordered several rounds of Fireball shots ($3) and a beer tower which me and the Frenchman split. Needless to say we were quite tipsy by the end of the night and since we were one of only a couple tables in her section, Summer kept a close eye on us and made sure we were having fun and politely posed for pictures with two drunken slobs. If you have a foreign friend, bring them here. Unfortunately the weird hotel across the Pike attracts some unsavory, grubby characters but they typically don't give you a problem. Also a good place to watch Sunday football and UFC fights. read more

We went there July 1st for a corvette show and figured we would also have some wings for dinner. Samalia was our waitress who sucked. She was so slow, was sitting with another girl having fries at another table instead of getting our drinks. The food was horrible, got the Dayton wings that were not tasting very fresh, the undercooked fries were tasteless, must have been frozen fries. We asked for an extra ranch dressing and had to wait 15 minutes before she brought it to the table. She said she had to put the order in for the dressing.
