We also only got one set of silverware for FOURTEEN people. My friends ordered sweet tea and it was UNSWEET. The Pepsi tastes like rootbeer. Food was very spicy. read more

So we (4 people) came here for lunch on National Wing Day and a wait was expected. BUT the place was not packed, there were plenty of waitresses and it still took an hour for us to our food. So back to the beginning, we got here at 12pm on the dot and got seated quickly. When looking around we noticed not many people eating but whatever, we sat anyway. A waitress came over pretty quickly and took our drink orders, by the time she came back with our drinks we were ready to put our order in. All but one of us got the NWD special of all you can eat wings and fries. One of us got the smoked wings (the waitress failed to notify us that the smoked wings were $1 more, we found this out when we got the checks). So we are waiting, waiting, waiting and our waitress didn't even check on us the whole time while we waited on our food. I ran out of water during this time. Nobody around us seems to be getting their food either, some there way before us. We finally get our food after 1pm and we go ahead tell her to put in our next order for more wings thinking maybe they will come out by the time we finish the 1st platter. Nope, they didn't. Oh and we asked for the smoked wings on the second platter and was told they were out. They just opened at 11am! She stopped by once during this time period and I told her go ahead and bring our checks while we continue to wait. It is now 1:37pm and we tell her to just forget the order, we have to go back to work. Now I don't know what was up in the kitchen or if there was some kind of disconnect between kitchen and servers but this was a horrible experience. I've been going to Hooters for years and enjoy the wings. I called and made an online order. When I got there my order was ready I paid for the order took the bag of food and looked inside to make sure everything was there. I discovered that they had forgotten some of my order. The cashier went to the back to tell cooks they had forgotten part of the order. I waited almost 30 minutes for the missing items. During this time I asked to speak to the manager 3 times and the cashier claimed she could not find him. The food finally comes and she hands me the bag of food which by now it is all cold. I said to the cashier I wanted to speak to the manager all of a sudden another waitress yell at me and says we will get you the hell out of here and she aggressively came towards me I said don't you touch me. Finally the manager is found and comes out. The other waitress is still cursing me I felt completely disrespected and mortified that this other waitress (who's name is Alfredo Panis sounds like a man's name don't know). Continued to scream and yell the funny thing was she was not even involved in the situation. As soon as the manager came out explain the problem to him. I told him I had been coming here for years and truly enjoyed the Parmesan garlic chicken wings that I had ordered. In the entire experience hurt me to the core. They tried to give me free food I asked for names and the corporate number I will never be treated like this especially when I did nothing wrong. read more

Hooters is a great spot to watch some sports and grab some food. I know what most the people go there for, the food of course, and it doesn't really live up to what it could be. It isn't too bad, but it could be better. I think every time I've been there, the fries are cold. Like I said, it isn't too bad. The service is always good, though. Looks abandoned , 1/2 the place all the chairs are on the table. With 1 guy sitting alone among all the turned up chairs next to the window , AC definitely works , one of the waitresses had to wear a jacket ( don't think that's part of the uniform ) but it was cold. Was told pick any place you want to sit. Took a table and it was sticky. Needed to be wiped AGAIN. But not with a dirty rag Only 3 customers yet took a bit long for my food - blond waitress spent entire time chatting with one guy - other waitress did a great job not very sociable but did well - somebody is losing money here. read more

Traveling from out of town I have a good idea of what to expect when I walk in the door. I came for that comfortable feeling. My $25 bought me a meal and a brief diversion from the road. The waitresses were a bit cheeky, some delightfully so. I can make the claim I go to Hooter's for the good wings, but why not just be honest? I like the orange shorts, or more precisely, I like the occasional lack of orange shorts around the edges. I ordered Naked Daytona wings. These are deep fried without breading, tossed in a sweet bar-b-que sauce, then finished on the grill. The wings were cooked to perfection. If I had to complain, and I always do even if I am delightfully happy, I would mention that in my 12 wing order I got 1/3 drumsticks and 2/3 flappers. That means I got only 4 out of 12 as drumsticks. This is supposed to be half and half, so obviously there was a problem in the kitchen. In the interest of full disclosure I should mention I really prefer the flappers over the drums, so any complaints from me are a facade, and not in earnest. When the manger came over and inquired how my meal was I mentioned the disparity to him. In retrospect I think he could have offered me an extra drum or two, not that I wanted them, but it's not like I'm buying cheap here. He was nice and mentioned in the course of the conversation a half dozen Hooters he has worked in that I've eaten at. He did a good job as a customer facing representative of the store. I ordered a Western burger. My waitress asked if I wanted everything on it. I agreed, but not before letting her know I was not sure what everything was. And I got the onion tanglers rather than the fries. My burger was on one end cooked a very nice medium, and on the other end cooked well done. The table I was given when I was seated happened to be in an aisle that had multiple servers walk past to get to their tables. What am I saying? Servers - let's be honest, they are Hooters Girls. While I had no window, I had a view. The was this one particularly cheeky blond with gorgeous eyes who kept walking past me. By gorgeous eyes I mean she actually had nice eyes, I have no recollection of what her breasts even looked like. Her eyes mesmerized me. Her stare unnerved me. I became self conscious as she stared at me each of many times she walked by. I supposed I returned the favor as she walked away each time. I studiously attended to each and every curve of her orange shorts as she walked away every few minutes. So the food was good. The ambiance was what I was expecting. The service, when it occurred, was friendly. My soda was refilled before I had time to realize I needed a refill. The waitress failed to introduce herself to me. I was not given flatware (that is silverware that is made from a base metal other than silver). I was not told what I would get on my burger. When it arrived I asked if lettuce and tomato come standard, I was told no, but offered it if I wanted. I asked for mayonnaise and when it came I lacked a knife to spread it with. It took a long time to remove my empty wing plates from the table. The waitress never sat down with me, or pretended to chat with me about life, the universe and everything. The servers whom are known for their high intellect and amazing set of useful skills cater the every need of the customer. Ok, who am I kidding? This is your average run of the mill Hooters and here is my review. The Good: The Food- I ordered the 10 piece Breaded Wings with a side of fries. Decent taste and the food was hot so no complaints there. Prices- Its Hooters, so the prices are reasonable. The Bad: The Deception- The name of the place is Hooters, which could be slang for an Owl or a set of big bodacious bahama mamas. At some of the Hooters locations, it is rare to see a server with the biggest bust size over a 34 BBB. Well this Hooters location has servers that are a strong 34CCC, which is a huge improvement, but if I go to Hooters, in addition to good food, I want to see good chesticals too. The Service- The server, while quasi attractive, had an attitude over the duration of the service. Overall: If you like chicken wings that are sold at a reasonable price and you like to watch sports outside of the home, this is the place for you. If you are looking to take some of your church members to an elegant venue for lunch or dinner, you might want to stick with Red Lobster. THREE STARS. read more

On our way out of Richmond back to good 'ol D.C., we hit this Hooters. Our waitress, Stephanie, was SUCH a cutie! Not only was she attentive, but she even hoolahooped for us! heh heh... The wings were impeccably done (even though it's not much to them...maybe it's just missing my old lunch days) and I swallowed it all with a good Yeungling on tap. All in all, everything was pretty cool...and maybe it was so cool an experience because we just missed the testosterone rush. Hooters' traditional great service at this location is making a comeback! Jersey, the bartender, not only greeted me; but she greeted every Hooters customer that walked in the door. On one of the hottest days of the year, she made sure my beers were the coldest. All of the other Hooters servers were very energized! My wings and shrimp were delicious. Jersey's personality is so welcoming! She has a ton of regulars, and I see why! Can't wait for football season.. The Hooters' corporate office would be proud of the customers' experience today. It's been years since I've been to this location and after a visit tonight there won't ever be another time! The AC wasn't working in the room we were in so it was uncomfortably hot. The service was very sporadic and several times we had to ask for things twice or never got what we asked for. The food came out one at a time and half our party was done eating before others even got their food. A couple of people asked for all flats and when the wings came they were mixed. When questioned the server said they didn't have any more flats. This is a wing place right??? When we asked for silverware we were given plastic in carry out wrappers and told they didn't have any silverware although other tables had real silverware. The buns on the chicken sandwich and burger were soggy when they came out and inedible. The ladies room was a nasty mess and there was no toilet paper except in one stall. The sign out front says under new management but it doesn't appear they got anything right with the change! Sorry I even had to give one star because they deserve none. read more

Our waitress sat at the table behind us talking to some guy the whole time we were there and barely paid attention to us. We waited about 30 minutes for some wings and fries. Service is oddly hit or miss. I say oddly because when I do work up the courage to wait for my food for a long time I'll go to Hooters and have been for nearly 10 years to this same location. I've started to rate the excuses for poor service. Top one seems to be "we're changing out the keg". Followed by "we're short a cook" or "we have a new cook". Strange that wings take so long. They seem to be very paranoid of being taken advantage of with their all you can eat when they have it. Traveling and thought I would stop in for dinner and a beer. Surprised to find they had some local and extremely strong craft beers...Usually can't find Bells Two Heart Ale outside of Midwest or the really pricey beer joints. Got a HUGE mug for only $1 more than a pint! Had the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich and a side salad and I have to admit both were really good! The salad was fresh and the sandwich was huge and very flavorful...not fishy at all...one of my new favorites. So this place is definitely the place to go if you want to watch sports. The food is ok. The shrimp and crab legs are good but could use more seasoning. Not really a big fan of the wings. The food was awesome and so was our server Steph. She was very attentive and took the time to chat with us and take a pic with my son. She even wrote a nice note on a napkin for him. But I had dissatisfaction brewing deep in my stomach. Even after we paid the bill and were standing outside making plans for the rest of the evening, I felt the sting of a cheat. Feigning interest in the conversation, I took a drag of my cigarette and played the events over and over again in my head. 3 cupcakes. 3 tiny cupcakes. That's what you get when it's your birthday at Hooters. I initially thought these pastries were a precursor to something more. Think again Rod. There was no song. There was no dance. Was it too much to expect the slightest bit of theatrics? Maybe I was too nice. When we first sat down one of the waitresses scolded our server for not getting our drink order soon enough. I took it upon myself to assure that it was no problem since we we're still waiting for half of our party. That was my mistake. You show weakness and you get taken advantage of. Later that evening at the bar, I would be in a whisky stupor thinking about all the times my lack of assertiveness destroyed relationships and poisoned opportunities. Nice guys finish last...Indeed. Manager was jealous when talking to a couple guys at another table because even though she mentioned a boyfriend, she still wanted to get with these dudes. The food here is ok and takes a long time to come out. Server usually doesnt do well on timing appetizers as the serveral times ive been here late night they come out with the entrees. The service here is consistently bad but maybe that is excusable for some because of the beautiful girls. Avoid sitting at high tables under the tvs because the tv radiates so much heat. read more

Have visited this Hooters many times over the years, and always enjoyed our experience. Since the remodel in this building it now seems that the place looks good but everything else is horrible. The food is bad, the service stinks, and the wait times are ridiculous. Our first visit after the remodel was just average... Not bad, but not over the top. Second visit after the remodel, we waited for a table for 15minutes.... No biggie, except no one greeted us at the door, and there were several sections available, not just tables, but whole sections of tables. Service and food were ok this visit as well. Third (and final) visit was for their "all you can eat wings" special. The restaurant was about half full. We had a party of 7, we ordered our wings... Almost an hour later our wings finally came out! However the wings were ICE COLD! We obviously sent them back... They returned about 10minutes later, clearly they had been microwaved because the texture was like rubber! So ordered a new platter (since it was all you can eat) again an additional hour went by before receiving the wings! We spend 3 hours in this restaurant and had one plate of wings! Manager was notified, but nothing was done to help the situation. Despite my love for Hooters food, we will not be returning to this location. read more
