We have been coming to this location since it was opened. In the last year the service and food have gotten really bad. The food takes almost an hour to come out and it would be ok if they were busy but, when there are only 6 tables with guests that is just ridiculous. Than we find out they were sending a cook home when food isn't coming out fast enough. The service is ok. Some girls are really good. But its getting harder and harder to find those. read more

Came for an early dinner... since we were nearby. We love wings, but last time we were here quality and service were below mediocre. Today was no different. It's almost as "why didn't we drive a bit further to another Hooters?" Again, food quality was poor, curly fries had way to much seasoning, cheese was hard- even after we sent our first order of cheese dip back. The restaurant was pretty empty, but service was pretty slow. Staff AGAIN appeared disorganized. I browsed around and noticed that as some of the team that was arriving to work, would walk straight in without acknowledging their co- workers. There was obviously friction between staff. Maybe if the could put some of their issues aside- service would be more productive. Now I know I was there for the foood, but the staff does set the ambience, and this team was definitely not being very nice to one another. Went for my grandson's 11th birthday. He was very disappointed because the waitresses couldn't take a couple minutes to sing him Happy Birthday. The food was terrible and it took them forever to serve us our food. Our waitress was very nice and tried her best to get the other waitresses to sing happy birthday to him. Had to wait for a waitress. Over 15 minutes. They all were playing grab ass in the front by the door. When we finally got a waitress, I asked about a beer and wine selection and she refused tell me unless I showed her my ID. I understand showing my ID to buy beer or wine even though I am 64. I have been TABC trained and certified at one point selling beer. Not answering questions is not part of the training or certification. I asked to see the manager and she refused. I did ask another waitress and provided the info and apologized. Providing information does not require showing an ID. Needless to say, she did not get a tip. Lousy Hooters! I was staying at a hotel nearby, and tried there twice because it was close. Waitress was fine first night but wings were funky. Had the ones that you can't tell if wing or drummy. Second night waitress looked like she hated me. I gave a 20% plus tip that included all the change from my pocket, and she dejectedly said she couldn't carry the change but would come back. I sat awhile to finish a beer and she just ignored my existence and never came back. The bar maid was really friendly to her boyfriend who got served before me and was showered with affection. I actually haven't been to hooters in a while and I realized why today. They not only got the kind of wings I wanted wrong but they even messed up the flavors. I wanted the original breaded wings and they gave me the naked wings, I was slightly upset but it's ok. Then I realize that they gave me barbecue flavored wings when I wanted habanero. Maybe it was just an isolated incident but i think service is key and I felt like they did not even care what I ordered. Also the Big Dipper fries were super salty and almost inedible so I would say pass on those. read more

Placed a group order and was quite unimpressed with the presentation of the food. Dirty, flimsy boxes with food tossed in and wing sauce all over the ranch container inside. Friend who ordered a salad got a small handful of lettuce shoved in a corner of one of the previously mentioned boxes with soggy chicken on top. The first wing I had ate , I pulled a piece of blonde hair out ( I have dark hair). I motioned for a manager , she came and replied " would you like another order or taken off your bill "? I replied ,"NO I do not want another order, what are the cooks going to do to my new order"? As a man, I cannot BELIEVE I'm only giving 1 star to a place called Hooters. (Supposedly they were into owls me thinks). Don't get me wrong folks. I go there for the wings...chicken's not bad either. My boy Jimmy and I decided to go up there because we've been on this binge of trying out all wings spots in Houston (I plan on making a list soon). This is the newest one of the franchise near Houston so we decided to head on up there before we hit Scout bar. As much as I hate the whole "sit where you want to sit" idea the "hostess" tells us as soon as we walk in the door, the room was pretty empty so we just got a table and sat down. 15 minutes later a waitress walks up to me and says she "is SO sorry but she didn't know that this was her table". I really could care less about her excuse. (Lady, I've waited tables for 4 years, I know all the BS that you're gonna tell me). So another 5 minutes goes by and we get our pitcher of XX (Jimmy is Hispanic, hence the XX) The beer is warm. That sentence deserved to be a paragraph alone. I understand that REAL beers are just fine if its a little warm, such as a Bock or IPA. But a Light beer? Come on people! That was so not kosher. 6 minutes pass by until i get a chance to ask the waitress for a bag of ice and a cold mug to cool down the brew, and another 6 minutes for her to bring it. Needless to say I wasn't too happy right about then. When the wings came out i was hoping that the food would help to redeem the waitress' mistakes but...no. I ordered Naked wings (I know its like ordering a Big Mac Supersized Meal with a Diet Coke) and they came out Not-Naked. Now seriously guys...when a guy expects something to be completely naked and it turns out to be the EXACT opposite...we're not gonna be happy. We're talking about wings right? Just making sure. The wings tasted as if it were marinated in a vat of vinegar over night, completely ruining my appetite for the next 2 days. Its tough for a guy to give Hooters one star. Real bad. So far I see little difference in this visit and my last. Was greeted with a sign on the door "cash only", and stood waiting to be seated for far too long. I have eaten at Hooters since 1984. I am from Clearwater Florida so I have eaten at the first Hooters and St Pete the 2nd Hooters. I'm also retired from the Army so have eaten at many many Hooters, even Key West Florida (when there was one there) to Anchorage Alaska. I was passing through Houston on Business and ordered 10 Wings on Grubhub to be delivered Tommy Hotel room. Went with my family to have some wings n stuff for dinner and to watch the Magic-Bulls game. Atmosphere was great as expected from any Hooters (first time to this one), we waited on the hostess to attend us for about ten minutes or so, I finally went to pull the manager from the kitchen and asked him to find a table for us. After that first bump on the road, the rest of our experience was great, mainly because of our pleasant waitress, Brittany.. She followed up on us through the evening and recommended to my wife her favorite sauce flavors! We went here the other day and ended up walking out before we were even seated. We told the hostess that we had 5 in our party and needed 2 high chairs. We followed her halfway thru the restaurant before she stopped and asked us if a booth was ok, we told her you can't put 2 high chairs at a booth. She then offers us a high table and said we could use boosters... she obviously doesn't have kids because this is common sense or so I thought. She then walked us back to the entrance and told us we could wait for a table. We told her no and said we'd go to ihop next door to which she replied "ok".
