The food took 35 minutes, the refills... only when asked, though she passed the table 14 times without stopping. The wings were smaller than the fork. The flavor/ coating was drizzled at best. Fries were forgotten and not offered free(we were done eating 45 min) for them to show up. This is the 3rd time this has happened there, while others arrived after, ate at least half their food before we got the food we ordered 15 minutes before they got there. Ordered 10 traditional wings and 3 of them still had feathers on them. One of the wings even had a human hair cooked into the breading. We politely told the staff we no longer wanted the rest of the order and were told the wings would be taken off the bill. When we went to pay, they had only removed $10 and still expected us to pay $7 for food we would not eat due to the condition it was served in. We explained that we were not comfortable paying for them, and instead of speaking with us directly, the manager stayed in plain sight shaking his head and refused to come talk to us. We travel a lot and this Hooters is one of the better locations you'll find the service is spot on and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back for sure especially during football season. We have about one year left in the Florence KY location then we'll move on and keep you all posted on the nearby establishments and the quality they have. We come here a lot but today was full of disappointments. First of all no food could be ordered for 45 minutes due to back up in kitchen. That was fine but we weren't given a table even though there over 15 tables available so we were told to sit at bar with the bar not socially distancing and none of employees have a mask on and this is uncalled for. The hostess told me she wasn't allowed to sit us. This is very confusing to me during this time. Nobody is here and 8 people are in the dining room and 10 people at the bar. The onion rings come with a zesty sauce and the wings come with bleu cheese. Presentation: Everything definitely looked the part. The wings especially were a home run here. 8.5 out of 10 Taste/ Final Analysis: The Daytona Beach Bbq is one of the best flavours of bbq sauce that I've had on a wing. There is a pretty good kick spice wise but it has enough sweetness to balance it out making each bite an awesome flavour explosion. The 911 are not quote on the level of the bbq but they're decent in their own way. They deliver the heat but I think they could have mixed some other flavours in there too like some of their wing competitors do. One thing I'll say is their wings are humongous so that's definitely a point in their favour. The onion rings were above average and their zesty sauce (not sure whay they call it) really worked well with the onion rings. Worst hooters in NKY Server was very insensitive, pulled up a chair without asking if it was okay to sit down at the table with customers, only seemed to care about our table when appetizers and empty glasses pilled up, food took a very long time to arrive to the table, we found out later that our server was forgetting to put our orders in. Watched the bartender clear the foam off a beer with her bare finger, server got very irritated when asked for a different beer that wasn't contaminated. Ordered more drinks for the table in advance of the table running out. Waited almost 10-15 minutes before the drinks showed up, never got silverware even though we asked our server for some, our server never brought any had to ask a different server for silverware, who promptly brought silverware. Of all the Hooters that I have been to, this is the best. This place stays clean and the girls in the front greet you when you walk in. I come come to Hooters for the wings and the chicken sandwiches, oh and can't forget the fried pickles! Anywho, My waitress from every time I go there is very nice. The Florence KY location is not my 1st Hooters experience geographically and most likely not my last. Why do guys go to Hooters? Good TV's, beer, wings and pretty servers. Feel free to get as politically correct as you choose, but the common denominator is what brings us back. The hostess always offers me my choice of any unoccupied table I want, a 6 top by myself? I get as good treatment as if I were a 6-8 top. My reaction is usually to defer to the hostess to express my feeling about hogging a large table, my goodwill question is always quickly dismissed and my order is ready to be taken. More wing flavor options are really needed in my opinion. Eight are not good enough for me. Came in today for lunch with my son when he got out of his last day of summer school. About as busy as it was fathers day. I believe our servers name was Alyssa, she was way more friendly, way more attentive, and has menu knowledge. I love Hooters! The service is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is great! Say what you want about other places, but I'm a firm believer that Hooters has better wings than B-Dubs. Actually, a LOT better! We always get breaded bone-in wings, which are GREAT, the 911 and hot, to me, being the best wing sauces. The Tex-Mex nachos are also a must! There are a lot of places that have loaded nachos, but Hooters could very well have the best I've had! What really makes this Hooters great though is that it's a place for me to spend quality time with my dad. We laugh, he drinks - I don't... We eat great food. We've been going to Hooters since the late 80s when we lived in Florida and have both always enjoyed the wings. We went this time because we received a coupon at a Florence Freedom game to buy ten boneless wings and get ten free. At $8.99 per 10 it made it worth trying. We went on Tuesday evening around seven and there were only about fifteen people so we were seated and served right away. We ordered the ten boneless wings each along with ten buffalo shrimp. My wife also ordered the deep fried pickles as an appetizer. We both had a beer and the pickles were brought out shortly after the beer. They had a nice thin breading and they were warm and crisp. I'm usually not a big fan but I tried a couple and they were pretty tasty. I also tried the dipping sauce but it had an odd flavor to me. The wife like both. The boneless wings would be expensive at 89 cents each, but with the coupon it was a pretty good deal. They were meaty and crisp and they held the sauce well. It is of course easier without the bones but I definitely prefer actual wings. We went with medium sauce on all since the wife doesn't like things too spicy and it had just enough warmth to make them truly buffalo flavored. The shrimp were really good, cooked perfectly, not overdone and chewy like I've had at other Hooters. We ordered ten but the plate had thirteen which was an added bonus. Our waitress was friendly and checked on the food and drinks just enough to not be bothersome and yet still be available if needed. Without the coupon the total would have been $43 (that included three bottled beers) but with the coupon in came in at $34. Not a bad deal with the extra shrimp and the fact you get much more meat with the boneless wings that even allowed us to bring four of them home for the next day. On an earlier visit, we had some challenges with new cooks and a new waitress. The manager spoke to us and went out of his way to make things right. So we were motivated to come back last Sunday to watch the Carolina Panthers squeak by the Vikings. Surprisingly, not a single television had that game on when we arrived. (Carry-Out Order Experience; did not sit down and eat) I recently placed a pretty big carry out order from this Hooters and it was satisfactory. It was a late night and my girlfriend and I didn't feel like sitting down in a restaurant, we just wanted to grab something and bring it home. We didn't want McDonalds or anything like that we actually wanted a meal which lead us to Hooters. We ordered an Onion Ring Tower, Garlic parmesan boneless wings, a turkey burger (which the GM of the restaurant ended up calling me and saying they were out, so I opted for a ground beef burger instead, but very professional about the manner. A+ for that), A piece of Chocolate mouse cake, and a couple of the dessert shooters. Everything was pretty much on point. The only thing that wasn't the greatest was the wings. They were just a little cold and off. Most likely, because they were done first and then the burger situation happened slowing down how fast they could get out my order. When we came to pick it up, we ended up waiting a good 35 minutes past the original wait time, but again I think that was due to them running out of Turkey burgers. The GM brought out our order then again apologized for the wait and mix up, which I thought was nice. They give you a crap ton of sauce too. I go to Hooters sometimes. Not all the time, but some. Which is kinda a shame. I haven't had a horrible experience there...well, maybe one. If you are going to watch a WWE pay-per-view event here, I STRONGLY suggest arriving well before the event. For an 8 PM start this likely means close to 6:15 PM. Too much later and you face an EXTREMELY long wait. I learned this firsthand when it took me 3.5 hours to be seated at all for WWE Royal Rumble in January 2011. It is the ONLY Official WWE Blast Area for pay-per-view events in ALL of Northern Kentucky! I digress though. The food is very good. I always get the More Than A Mouthful Burger. It's a huge piece of meat, served with lettuce, onion, and tomato, though cheese is extra which I can't complain about. I'd go with the curly fries and baked beans, both of which are very good. Oh and the cheese sauce isn't that bad for the fries. For one person, expect to spend around $10-12. Of course just about every man goes to Hooters for the girls, despite claiming that it is the food. As a single man, I can't argue with that. Some of the girls really aren't that bad looking. I've been to other Hooter's locations throughout the US & I have to say the ladies here have got their act together! We still have 6 minutes left in the first half and already have our food and second round of drinks. Being in the restaurant & bar industry I'm even more impressed with the output from the kitchen, management presence on the floor, & the way not one staff member is standing still. Showed up around 8pm on a Saturday night with two kids. We were told they were running 20mins behind because of the kitchen. That was cool, we were fine waiting, we just wanted to sit at one of the many open tables. I asked if we could be seated, the manager stood there contemplating the question for about 2mins, before reluctantly allowing the hostess to seat us. The waitress came right over and took our drink order. That was good. She then asked if we wanted her to take our food order, but that she couldn't put it in for another 10mins. We declined and asked her to just come back when she was able to put our order in. In the meantime, my wife and son decided to come meet us to eat, but wanted to order when they got there. The waitress came back and took our order. Wife and son show up, waitress makes obvious eye contact with both myself and my wife, but doesn't come to take their drink order. About 10mins go by with the waitress looking at our table, but not asking for their drinks or even refilling ours. When the food comes, she drops off our food and still doesn't even acknowledge the fact that my wife and son have joined us. She doesn't give us plates or anything else. My wife finally speaks up and asks for some drinks, which the waitress says she'll come back to get. I'm giving the girl the benefit, and assure my wife that she'll be back as soon as she clears other tables out. 10 more mins go by, no plates, no drink refills, and no drink orders for the wife and son. My wife finally decides that she is leaving and will just go elsewhere. The waitress finally stops her and asks what she wants to drink, but by this time she's mad, I'm mad, and the waitress is still completely oblivious. She does finally bring plates, which we were waiting on for too long. She also finally brings drink refills for each of us and apologizes. I say no problem and move on. After we finish eating, she comes and apologizes again, to which I finally speak up and let her know how terrible I thought it was that it took her a sold 15mins to even acknowledge wife and son. She says she's the only one taking tables, which is confusing because I see many other waitresses who seem to be waiting on their tables just fine. The check came, with nothing from the manager, though he seemed fairly useless to begin with. So, I like Hooters wings, but the customer service in Florence is awful.
