I was in Dallas for a few days, and it's been a while since I've been in a Hooters. I sat at the bar, friendly bar tender, really was there to charge my phone and said let me see what type of food is on the menu. I ordered 6 pieces bone in chicken wings. The reason and only reason for this post is because the wings did NOT look normal and as they say everything in Texas is big well this was not the case. The wings looked abnormal as of this was a baby bat or something I down take a picture because I told the bar tender no way will I try this - I am not saying it was but never have I seen a wing the size of half my pinky finger. All Hooters are not created equally and I've been avoiding them due to that, however I think I've found one that I like! We arrived on a Monday night and what a surprise that it was "all you can eat" wing night - parking, unlike the downtown location - was simple and getting a table was a breeze. We sat down and reviewed the menu and placed our orders. Shortly afterwards our food was brought out and I can't say anything negative! I frequent this hooters for a nightcap, a quick meal, and to entertain guests since I live close by. Given the right waitress/bartender you will have the best experience, with the best service. Cyleste, alma, Sara, zayra, and Tia are all excellent bartenders and Ashley and crystal are excellent on the floor. I recommend the smoked wings in the Texas bbq flavor and follow it with a cold beer and a shot or two of tequila and you'll be sleeping great when you get home! read more

First off don't be fooled by the menu pictures because the nachos don't have pico or guacamole on them as advertised. Just brownish lettuce. They discontinued many items that is put on their food. Also don't come to watch football because TV's cut out every 20 seconds, go black and freeze. No weather. Clear as can be outside. After waiting for over 35 minutes for tator tots and 10 wings, I was praying that the food would at least be good. No such luck. I haven't been to Hooters in probably 10 years bc their food was always gross. I gave it a chance this time hoping that it was different. :\ The tots had this fake, sticky "cheese" sauce on top and enough green onions to share with the whole damn restaurant. Ok... I've been a die hard Hooter's fan for over 20 years so I was really excited when one opened up in our area here in cedar hill! Prior to that I'd have to go to either downtown or all the way at Little road in Arlington! But then, I sat back and saw the HORRIBLE reviews and nothing changing. So, we waited! First thing, there was no one working at the greeter counter for 10-15 minutes Finally a young man appeared to sit us. Second, we sat there for 30 minutes before we were asked for or drink order, I remind you again, it was not busy at all. Finally ordered our food 45 minutes later. This was the first and last time to this Hooters. Management and staff is not organized Staff is not friendly. I really don't think the staff like their job.. but again that is my opinion. I visited here last night 12/26 for the 2nd and last time. Last month I came on a Saturday afternoon.and were told that they were out of pickles ( fried). Yesterday we were told before we ordered that the kitchen was very behind on orders. It was not busy and there were several empty tables. We were told it would be about 40-45 mins. We decided to wait I ordered water and asked for lemons, our server informed me that they were out of lemons, but she did offer limes. This place is always out of something. Didn't know what to think when a Hooters first opened in my city, won't lie its been about 8 yrs since I've been to one. This one was crowded, in all honesty don't remember what the inside of a Hooters looks like so if my description is like all of them cool. It had the bar in the middle and tables around the bar, a large flat screen tv right in the middle above the bar and tons of other smaller TVs around the whole restaurant. Parking seemed limited, and when I walked in it was crowded, a good mix of people. I felt as if I walked into a college hangout that's considered the place to be. Loved the atmosphere, the music and the layout. We ordered drinks and some appetizers, the Parmesan wings were a bit salty but not the reason I gave it a 3. The pretzel cheese bites were VERY good. I ordered the fish tacos and was very satisfied. So why did it took 40 min to bring out my 2nd appetizer I ordered and 2 hours to bring out our food. I can't understand why it would take so long, yes it was crowded but 2 hours is not what I've waited ever even at high end restaurants. I think what made it worse is we were starving! However I will give this place a 2nd chance but if they take that long again, I will never go after Went back to give it a 2nd try and I'm done, won't go again. Saddest hooters I've been too, not one smile in the place. Atmosphere was not friendly, walked in and there was no one to at the stand to help us sit or greet us so we sat at the bar. We came in to watch March madness , there ncaa bracket poster in the front entrance was not filled out, immediately I thought ... wheres the "March Madness" no one was in the spirit for the games I guess.. In fact, the main large TV at the bar wasn't even showing sports. The main screen had Spanish novelas on univision on??? I was so confused ??? The waitress gave us a have hearted greeting took our order didn't even give us her name. She shows up later with my fries but not my wings? I figured the wings were coming right behind but they showed up approx 15 mins after ? The fries were also cold so I asked if she could reheat but graciously they offered to get another batch and the 2nd batch was kind of warm but not really at this point I didn't bother saying anything. Oddly it didn't seem that busy inside , lots of empty tables but I never even got a beer refill request. I'll drop 60$ on dinner elsewhere next time. Came with my daughter and her boyfriend, and sat at the bar, because the hostess had a "stank attitude." The bar hadn't been wiped down, and there were empty Red Bull cans that had been squeezed sitting in the bar as well. We sat down, and I ordered a Watermelon Margarita. Once I got it, it tasted like flavorless, frozen ice, there wasn't any watermelon flavor, nor liquor in he drink at all so I sent it back and opted for a Pepsi.
