The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! I go to the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) mainly to workout and play basketball, so I can tell you that both facilities are great. They fit all of your workout needs, and the basketball gym is great to go shoot around, or run a couple games. The gym has many different machines and tools including racks of dumbbells, bench press, cables, and leg press machines. The gym is also nice because you are told to wipe down the machines once you are one to keep it sanitary. The pool is also very nice, and you can go and swim to get a nice little workout in.

And as in previous seasons, Malibu Jack's is the host venue, and it's always a league favorite! The bowling lanes are top-notch as is the beer selection (Sweetwater 420 for me!). And we shared a piping hot Brooklyn Pizza as we bowled. The Sandbar and Grill that adjoins the bowling had quite a crowd on a Thursday night, with lots of customers enjoying beer pong and karaoke! Great venue choice for the new Lexington Sports and Social Club bowling league! Can't wait for next week! Bowling is always one of the most enjoyable and laid back sports that LSSC offers and when combined with Malibu Jack's, it's a combo that would impress Jeffrey Lebowski (as long as no one karaokes to the Eagles!).
