The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! We had a great experience and I would love to go back to Create!

I am a recurring visitor every week and until I run out of money or time it is going to stay that way! For only $9-15, you can have anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours of practice and once you're finished perfecting your craft, there is a conveniently placed practice putting green towards the exit. It is a great way to get some last-minute practice just in case you didn't feel like you didn't hit the ball as well as you think you should. Or you just want some extra practice which there isn't anything wrong with. I personally have a phenomenal time every time I visit even when I am not playing my best just because of the staff and prices of everything there. I would recommend everyone interested in getting better at golf to visit!

They fit all of your workout needs, and the basketball gym is great to go shoot around, or run a couple games. The gym has many different machines and tools including racks of dumbbells, bench press, cables, and leg press machines. The gym is also nice because you are told to wipe down the machines once you are one to keep it sanitary. The pool is also very nice, and you can go and swim to get a nice little workout in.

I didn't formally cancel anything, just inquired what the policy would be. Day of the party, the owner told the staff I had canceled, not true. The "new" room was still very much under construction, even had they thought I was coming, the "new" room would not have been ready. Had to sit and wait till after 6pm to prepare for my daughters party at 530. Horrible. About 24-48 hrs later I emailed the owner, his reply was you canceled (I had clear emails indicating the very opposite of that statement) he also stated that the staff allowed the other party to eat later, another false statement according to the party flow chart sent to me 5 days prior to the party. I was offered $50 off our next party, no thank you, we wont be back. Please refund me the $50.....crickets! ​

We love we can check on our son on the cameras in his room and even on the playground and get real-time updates and photos throughout the day from his teachers via the Kid Reports app. He is in great care with his teachers and loves going each day to play, go outside and do learning activities. While not the least expensive center in Lexington, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and high quality care for your child is worth it.

Our experience with All About Kids was lackluster, to say the least. First and foremost, we…read moreunderstand that watching over a group of children at this age can be challenging at times. However, during our child's time at their facility, a number of issues continued to pile up. Our child was bitten continuously over a span of a few months. When we brought up these concerns, we were constantly told, "Children bite at this age." If we asked what steps were being taken to ensure this wouldn't continue to be an issue, we were told, "We are working on it." We were never informed of what steps were actually being taken. In incident reports, they began to say, "She was bit by a friend because she did this." While I believe they didn't mean for it to seem like they were blaming my child for getting bitten, the way things were worded did not sit well with us. While we understand that some children at this age bite, the continual issues made us feel like the proper steps were not being taken to ensure the biting wouldn't continue. There were even multiple instances where we would find bites on our child that the daycare didn't even inform us of. Did they know and not tell us, or did they not witness the bites? I don't know which answer would be worse. Our child also started coming home filthy. There were multiple instances where they would come home with stool caked on them, with the bowel movement having happened hours before we picked them up. It got to the point where we would check our child's diaper before we left the facility, even if they logged a diaper change just before we arrived. There were also multiple instances where our child would come home with a rash and open sores. This only happens when they've been sitting in their stool for a long period of time. There was one instance where we got them home at the end of the week with a significant rash, got the rash taken care of over a long weekend, only for them to come back home with a rash on their first day back the following week. We do not expect perfection. I do expect my child to be cleaned and diapered properly by the people we pay to watch them every single day. Making sure a child is cleaned after a diaper change and that they are not constantly sitting in their own stool is the bare minimum. They weren't even doing that properly. The straw that broke the camel's back for me came when I witnessed an incident myself, only to be told that what I saw did not happen. The teachers were not watching the incident in question when it happened, so how would they know that what I witnessed didn't happen? That broke my trust in their staff. If they were willing to tell us that what we witnessed wasn't what happened, how do we know they're telling the truth about the instances we didn't see for ourselves? We raised all of the above concerns and were constantly met with, "You're the only parents who are having any issues. No other parent has these concerns." Based on conversations we've had with multiple parents during our final months attending this daycare, I can guarantee that was not the case. I also know they've said the same things to other parents. How many parents do you think you can gaslight into thinking they are the problem before they begin to talk amongst each other? I believe they thought the number would be much higher than it actually was. I truly want to believe that the staff gives their 100% best effort. But if the care we've been provided is their 100% effort, then their standards are far too low. I write this review hoping the proper steps will be taken by the staff to ensure other families do not go through this like we did. It is also a call to other parents: If you feel like your child isn't receiving adequate care, make your voice heard. Do not suffer in silence. The only way change can truly happen is if we speak about issues we deal with. Even if they make you feel as if you are the only parent concerned, I can assure you, you are not.

Lexington Christian Academy drew me away from God. I came to the school in search for a Christian…read morecommunity that would help me grow in my faith, but in fact, it drew me far away from it. I was surrounded by people calling themselves Christians - while at the exact same time, I saw them tear down the very ones made in His image. An example of this being my entire class and upperclassmen (with the exception of few), making fun of one girl who struggled with a disability. They made an Instagram "fan page" of her - her profile picture being black snakes coming out of her eyes. I was once told by a staff member that, on another occasion, an entire grade dressed up as one student in order to make fun of her. But, because the staff "could not prove the bullying," they did nothing to stop it. However, I would be lying if I did not say there are some genuinely kind teachers at the school that truly love their students. But, that will most likely not be the takeaway in your child's experience at LCA. In the classroom, things from the Bible are skewed in their teaching. For example, it's taught that if you're anxious, you're not a true Christian. It's taught that if you pray for doctors and nurses, rather than solely God's miracles, you're not truly believing in the power of God. Teachings like these saturate the classroom. There is extremely little diversity, though their deceptive marketing will put a minority poster child on the front page of their website. What I experienced at LCA was truly traumatic to me. If you are considering sending your child there, and they are at all doubting their faith in whatever way, please prayerfully re-consider. I write this review out of deep disturbance and concern for your child's faith.
