Warm up, arms, legs, seat, and abs, but no two classes do the exact same moves. I found that particularly nice because it's regular enough that you know what's coming up, but different enough to keep your interest. If you're looking for something new, Pure Barre is with a try!

The owner won't let me out of the gift certificate or even make it right in any way even though the services they offer now is no longer comparable and she knew I was only getting a year of lessons with one instructor we even spoke about this. People who paid credit card were able to get out of contracts but those of us who paid cash she won't let out of it. Action reflects leaderships and the owner of this studio handled my business dealing as well as a hand full of other clients very dishonest. So I do not trust anyone there. Stay away at all costs. Also, there was some construction and a lot of electrical lines with big metal bases along the path, which also detracted from the little bit of nature. The lifeguards blow whistles all the sudden and yell at the kids to get out, as if this is a Jaws movie. Make it non threatening and encourage getting fresh water or a small snack? Play music 1 minute before the kick out time, setup tables with free water cups? have some small challenges, throw a frisbee into a target and win a small prize or who knows. But they dont do these things. Parking is miserable, expect your car will be hit by someone's door. Period.

There are also multiple benches to sit on if you need to take a break or would just like to sit and read a book in an area that makes you forget you are in downtown Lexington. There are plenty of green spaces and empty fields to play frisbee, flag football, or volleyball. I drove to the dog park area since the park is strict on having the dogs on leash at all times, so I went there. The dog parks for both small and large dogs are enormous! I have never seen that size of a dog park since I was in Colorado--and that state is known for being pet friendly, so their parks and restaurants are 90% pet-friendly. I took my dog to the small dog park as he is small. It was still 4 P.m. and too hot for my dog. There are not a lot of shades in the small dog area compared to the large dog area. I did not stay that long as my dog did not like being grilled under the sun. I checked out the rest of the park by driving around and noticed a vast playground, a marina (although the water has receded), empty fields, a picnic area, and even a camping area! If I had come later in the day when it was not too hot for my dog, I would have enjoyed my stay here. I have seen plenty of residents around here with their kids, birthday party groups, and groups playing frisbee. I can tell that it is a great park to visit. Cool spot ~

CycleYOU was such an enjoyable experience for me due to a combination of factors. The instructors were incredibly engaging, bringing a contagious energy that kept me motivated throughout the class. The music was spot-on, adding an extra boost to my workout and keeping me pumped up. I loved the variety in the routines, from intense sprints to challenging hill climbs, which kept things interesting and prevented monotony. Additionally, the sense of community in the class, along with the positive atmosphere, made me feel part of something special. Finally, the feeling of accomplishment after completing a tough session was incredibly satisfying. ABOUT THE GYM OWNERSHIP AND MEMBERSHIP: This Gym is called Genesis now, but it was previous known as "Esporta" before they were acquired over a year ago. They honored all old memberships before changing their company, which we really appreciated. Their Facebook and website is always updated, and they are always VERY open and clear about how much their monthly fees are, what the rules are for other local locations, and so on. ABOUT THE CAFE: Other than a few vending machines, their previous cafe that WAS here is now CLOSED. I dont know what they plan to do with their little kitchen spot near the front doors, but it seems like they are just keeping the vending machines stocked for now. ABOUT THE POOL: Recently re-done! They completely redid the bottom of the pool, cleaned out the water, and they have a clip board sheet at the front desk about what times what lanes have been claimed. They also offer classes although I am not too plugged in to what kinds of classes they can do. I often see swimming classes in the mornings on the weekends there, however. ABOUT ME: I am going to speak more from the angle of a person who is here in the mornings, lightly works out to maintain fitness and health, and walks and runs the circular track upstairs on the 2nd floor all the time. I have gotten nothing but friendliness and kindness from the entire staff here. I always read the previous negative reviews of a business before I post, and all I can say is that I never ran into a billing issue or anyone who mumbles. They seem to rotate staff a bit frequently, perhaps... but in any event, showing up in the mornings to speak to a manager instead of showing up in the evenings after work, when more helpful people are unfortunately more likely to not be around, has probably been a major bonus for me getting great customer support. THEY HAVE A DAYCARE!!!!! It was closed when we first joined more than a year ago, but thankfully as my toddler began aging into his hyperactive wildness, they opened it back up!!! Finally after "Covid". Heaven, what a blessing!! HERE are the daycare hours: Monday: 8:30am-12pm, 4pm to 8pm Tuesday: 8:30am-12pm, 4pm to 8pm Wednesday: 8:30am-12pm, 4pm to 8pm Thursday: 8:30am-12pm, 4pm to 8pm Friday: 8:30am-12pm ONLY Saturday: 8:30am to 12pm ONLY Sunday: CLOSED So basically, this means that there is a several hour gap of NO daycare employee in the MIDDLE of the day Mondays through Thursdays, and Fridays and Saturdays they are only open in the mornings, but then Sundays they offer no daycare at all. The morning daycare staff IS different than the evening daycare staff, too. And wow, these people are ABSOLUTE SWEETHEARTS to my Autistic Boy . Such amazing energy! My son never wants to leave, and there is NO TIME LIMIT for him being here? The assurance and relaxation I get from their ability to call me or find me if there is an issue makes my workout just that much more peaceful. Overall, give it a try! If you are looking for a place to start off, then definitley go with the month to month or 6 month trial. The class had already started, it's dark in the room with blue lights. Music is blasting with great beats to get you in the workout mood. There is only room for 15 max capacity, which is great for those that don't like crowded gyms. It's a class you have to sign up for, you can't just show up and attend unless there's someone that didn't show up or was super late. It is an intense workout class, but in a great way. You're testing your endurance on so many levels. I've never seen such a machine or ever tried one, but I loved it. They call it the, "sweat-Lana" which is funny to me being I'm Eastern European and Svetlana is one of my aunts' name. Overall, a great studio and very reasonable pricing. Stop by and get your workout on, you won't be disappointed.
