It is way too expensive to be constantly busy and never have enough room to workout. Icing on the cake is I requested a cancellation due to moving out of state. Emailed, called MULTIPLE times, and consistently got ignored by Jordan, the one person that manages accounts. He requested multiple forms of proof of move, which I happily provided, and again was ignored. My card continues to try to be processed, I have called and emailed yet another person multiple times, and get ignored. Extremely unprofessional and quite possibly the most ridiculous place ever.

Go to Anytime Fitness, Planet Fitness, or the YMCA and you will have working air conditioning, clean locker rooms, and newer equipment. With the increased membership fees planned by Genesis, it is cheaper and safer to go elsewhere and get better equipment.

I tried Pure Barre because it's all the rage with my friends out of state. I was a little hesitant…read morebecause I am not very flexible, and have never taken dance, but gave it a go anyway. I arrived early, like the website said, and the instructor talked me through everything so I wasn't quite so lost during class. And let me tell you, the class will be TOUGH. Thankfully, they also show you how to modify things in case anything is too difficult to start. Most classes follow the same format. Warm up, arms, legs, seat, and abs, but no two classes do the exact same moves. I found that particularly nice because it's regular enough that you know what's coming up, but different enough to keep your interest. If you're looking for something new, Pure Barre is with a try!
