Big Square is my favorite market for bread and flowers! If…read moreyou love traditional Puri bread, this is the place! Made with quality flour and baked fresh hourly, they are usually served hot from the oven, and I can't resist eating 1/4 of it before I get home. The fresh cut flowers and plants welcome you into this Armenian market, with tall, vibrant roses unlike those found at most florists. Big Square also offers a solid selection of produce, meats, pastres, alcohol, and other goods. Specialty items like Armenian coffee, unique condiments, and hard to find deli products are always available. For meat products, they have frozen quail, which is usually difficult to find... however, I have never been a fan of their other meat items. The one time I purchased shank and liver, it wasn't as fresh and of quality I anticipated. Parking can at times be difficult and drivers are a bit aggressive. I suggest shopping here during slow hours vs. peak times.

We've shopped here many times, but after today we won't be back. And apparently the store doesn't…read morewant us back either. On October 7, 2026, around 12:40 PM we bought Monural. The shelf tag directly under it said $18.99. At home we saw on the receipt that we had been charged $59.99. We came back around 6:30 PM and found that the $18.99 tag actually belonged to a different product, Miramistin, which wasn't even on that shelf. It was simply placed under the Monural. Monural had no price tag of its own anywhere, and there was no $59.99 tag on any of the medicine shelves, so the only price a customer could see was $18.99. The product names on the tags are printed in tiny font, while the prices are large and bold, so it's easy to read the price and miss which product it's for. When we explained this at Customer Service, the first thing the employee said was "So what do you suggest?" There was not a single "sorry." She offered to refund only half of $59.99, because one of the two sachets had already been used. We said it was the store's mistake and that it looked like deception. She replied that yes, there was a mistake, but it was ours, not theirs: we should have read the price tags more carefully and checked the total at the register. Then she said: "I'll give you your money back since you say it's deception, but don't buy anything here anymore." We got the $41 difference plus tax, $45.51 total. Even then, the employee first tried to take back the medicine we had already paid for, and handed it back rudely when we pointed this out. That's how the store treats regular customers. A simple "sorry, our mistake" would have been enough. Check your receipts carefully if you shop here, and make sure the shelf tags actually match the products. Photos of the shelf and both receipts are attached.

I feel like Popeye, the sailor man after eating all that Spinach . Thank you so much for making catering feel like real home made food.

Bloody hell -- Cajun Craving is the spot. I walked in expecting solid seafood. I walked out…read morewondering how the hell they haven't been handed a Michelin star already. Let's start with the Cajun shrimp: perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely drenched in a sauce so flavorful it should come with a warning label. Not salty, not greasy -- just balanced, bold, and outrageously addictive. You taste it once and immediately know someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn. And the crab legs... my god. HUGE, sweet, and steamed to perfection. You crack into them and it's like opening a treasure chest -- except instead of gold, it's pure, buttery, Cajun-kissed heaven. Now the sausage -- whoever seasons that deserves a raise. It doesn't just sit in the bag like an afterthought. It has its own flavor, completely over the top in the best possible way. Smoky, spicy, rich... it punches through the boil like it's auditioning for its own dish. But the real sleeper hit? THE GREEN SAUCE. Off. The. Chain. A straight-up flavor knockout -- bright, herby, tangy, and absolutely lethal in the way good sauces should be. It elevates everything you dip it in. I could drink it. I won't -- but I could. The whole experience? Different -- but in that rare, memorable, "I need to come back tomorrow" kind of way. Cajun Craving is easily one of the best seafood boils in LA. No nonsense, no shortcuts, just pure, serious, crafted flavor. Five stars. Easy. Gordon Ramsay approved.

I've driven past this place for years, and I'm honestly mad at myself for only trying it now…read more It's a small shop with only three tables for dine-in seating, but what they lack in space, they more than make up for in quality and service. They have a wide selection of chips and sandwiches, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient in walking me through their menu and recommending some of their most popular sandwiches. They even checked in while I was eating to make sure everything was up to par. That kind of attentiveness goes a long way! I tried the Spicy Italiano and pastrami, and both were fantastic, but the Spicy Italiano definitely stole the show. The bread-to-filling ratio was spot-on for both sandwiches. The exterior had that perfect crunch without being overly bready, and you can genuinely tell these sandwiches are made with care. Every layer was evenly distributed, so you get a little bit of everything in each bite without the fillings spilling out the back. Sandwich engineering at its finest! The Spicy Italiano was my favorite. The meats tasted high-quality and it was perfectly balanced with the pepperoncini and cherry pepper aioli. This cold sandwich is the perfect meal for hot summer days. The pastrami was another pleasant surprise. I'm usually not a fan of thinly sliced pastrami because it can easily turn out dry or overly salty, but this was neither. It was juicy, tender, and perfectly balanced with the roll. Once again, everything stayed neatly in place as I worked my way through the sandwich. No runaway fillings here! Parking can be a little tricky, but there's a small driveway that's convenient if you're just stopping by to pick up a sandwich you've ordered ahead of time.
