Just another spin off of Fish Dish but I did enjoy it. I ordered the grilled Cajun red snapper with salad and rice with a side of butter sauce. It was really good but the piece of fish did leave a lot to be desired. A friend got the grilled white fish and her portion was much better. They also have raisins in their coleslaw, so if you're like me and you hate raisins, then don't order that. I was a bit disappointed with the soda selection though. We ordered a couple Mahi mahi plates and jumbo shrimp plates with cajun seasoning (rather than garlic butter) and it was really tasty. I like this place a lot. The food is light but very flavorful. I had a white fish taco and a mahi mahi wrap. Both where delicious. The white fish taco was crunchy with lots of flavor and not fishy at all. My Mahi wrap was my favorite. I had it with the cream sauce. Absolutely love this place for lunch! Not too far from work and the food is delicious! Great value plates. I usually get the white fish grilled plate. So much rice and fish for about $10 with a salad on the side. The seasoning is perfect and the fish is moist. Usually a bit busy around 12 but there's still plenty of chairs to sit. Wait time for food is about 10 minutes but that's because they make the food to order so it's hot and fresh when you get it. No food sitting under the warmers like some other places. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. To avoid the wait for your food just order for pick up over the phone. Went in for lunch today, usually it's really good. Today I returned my Mahi Mahi it was over cooked and didn't smell fresh. They made right and I got shrimp the dish which was better. The restaurant seemed busy when we walked in which I take as a good sign. Not much in terms of decor. We ordered three tacos, battered shrimp and fish combo, and a childs chicken tenders and fries. It took a while to come out but I call that fresh-made. So... The tacos each had a different type of fish. Unfortunately the flavor was masked by the sauce so you couldn't enjoy the fish or shrimp. The battered shrimp and fish didn't have much salt. The shrimp size was good and cooked right. The fish was flaky and soft. The kids chicken tenders weren't good. The meat was super thin so it was dried out by the time it was served. Only the thickest part had some moisture left. I gave 3 stars because the employees were on top of things despite a busy restaurant. But the lack of flavor really made me question why its rated higher. I would like for management to recognize an employee by the name of TAYA..We've come here since you guys have opened and we see just how much work she put in this last time we were there. She was handling being a cashier and also back there cooking the food and serving it. The food tasted great. Outside of that besides the portions of the food being a little inconsistent we have no complaints. I also think that they should keep the air on in there as well. It's really hot while eating and it needs circulation. We were in there a few days ago and two people were in there coughing and I felt like it was just so stuffy and hot inside of there it made it very uncomfortable for me to eat without thinking about grabbing all of my things and going outside. My family was with me including my one year-old son so I think it's important that they have a great ventilation system and keep an eye on the soda machine and the taste of the sodas. I'm giving this five stars because of how TAYA did such a great job. She was holding it down for the front and back of the house. But if I had to rate everything else I would probably give it somewhere between a 3 1/2 or a four. When there are inconsistencies whether it be in portion size or the job descriptions of employees sometimes you start to question if everything is ok behind the scenes. I really do want this restaurant to be a success and stay around. So that's why I am critiquing the way that I am because I know that you guys can be great! read more

My family and I have been at hook'd many many times. Food is delicious and kid friendly meals. However on today's visit I was extremely disappointed with Jolene she was not only rude but unhappy to be at hook'd today. As per usual I used the women's restroom with my two little ones to wash our hands however there was no hand soap. I proceeded to notify Jolene that soap was needed in the ladies room to disappointment Jolene acknowledge my request but decided to ignore me and talk to other coworkers. We waited about 15 minutes to see if possibly Jolene would take care of the soap since there was no one at checkout ordering. We proceeded to use the men's restroom since in that restroom there was soap for us to use. My husband found this place on yelp and decided to pick up for dinner. He got the grilled salmon and grilled shrimp, and I got two crispy fish tacos and one mahi mahi taco. Great place to get a high quality meal for a decent price. Had the shrimp rosé pasta, which doesn't actually have rosé it's just their red sauce mixed with their alfredo. The sauce was fantastic nice subtle flavors that dont overpower your pallet. The shrimp was cooked to perfection but the pasta used takes away from the sauce and sort of takes over the dish a bit.
