The tomato and green pepper were delicious, especially paired with the fries. I also tried the Berry Noir, which was the perfect iced tea--refreshing and flavorful. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Anna was especially kind and helpful, and our waitresses, Aryna and Shasha, were wonderful. They're lucky to have such a friendly and attentive crew! There was plenty of outdoor seating, which was a big plus, and the complimentary valet parking was an added bonus. The music had a great variety and really added to the atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Level Lounge. Great food, drinks, hookah, atmosphere, and exceptional service. This has happened to me and my friends the last 3 times I visited. Whatever happened to first come, first served? The inconsistency and favoritism were really frustrating, especially as a longtime loyal customer. There's no reason customers should be met with attitude just for trying to eat here. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my view of the place and I won't be returning unless management addresses it.

They do valet - $12 a car. I really disliked that I was practically forced to do valet despite an empty parking lot and no need for any "real" valet services, when I asked the valet guy where else I can park if I don't want valet he just shrugged and said not sure.. I went on a weeknight so it wasn't too crowded, I was quickly seated and had a whole section to myself. Since it's outdoors, it was a little cold however they have blankets + standing heaters. I ordered a shrimp pasta and a pineapple hookah, the pasta was absolutely delicious and came out super quick...the hookah on the other hand...took over 35 minutes to come out. The second thing I disliked was their "hookah" menu, when I asked for one they just said talk to the hookah guy, so I had to ask him what flavors they have and mixes...I would rather look at a menu and have my own options to choose from versus hear them. Also was completely unaware of the prices so that is a little shady. However after finding out, a regular hookah is $35, $40 for a premium Russian brand (I recommend this) and $65 for a grapefruit or pineapple head.... The play house music that was a little loud but nothing too overbearing. Hookah service was great and the coals are changed frequently. Overall - solid hookah spot with clearly good and knowledgeable hookah specialist...downside was the valet / hookah taking forever to come and no menu for hookah. I would however definitely come back though.

I absolutely love coming to this place. I love the atmosphere especially when they have the DJ's playing. I usually ask for the inside just because it is very dark and gives off that relaxing vibe. Sure you need your cell phone or some type of flashlight to be able to see whats on the menu, but that definitely isn't a biggie. Hookah. I am a huge hookah feen. I have my own hookah set at home, but I'd prefer to come the Hookah Lounge. I always smoke Starbuzz flavors. I probably have tried every flavor out there. I almost always ask the waitresses for recommendations and most of them turn out to be pretty awesome. They're house mixes are amazing, too. They have the most funniest names, some may find it a little too much, but to me, it's just plain hilarious. For example, one hookah mix is called the "Vagina" and the other "Panty Dropper" you see what I mean? But, hands down, the best house mixes. You can also go for, X on the beach, fuzzy navel, pink or blue mist and white peach. There are so much to choose from. My advice is to ask one of the waitresses or one of the guys handling the hookah. They never turn me down! Food. Food is very basic. You got the fries, nuggets, wings. Nothing too major. So if you're looking for a chill spot just to relax and have a good relaxing time with the not-so-fancy food, this is the place. But, there is definitely one thing I will put out there and that is their nachos! It's this huge platter good enough for at least 4 people. I get the nachos with chicken. I love it so much I can honestly say I can eat that whole plate myself! Service. On the weekends it does get pretty hectic. You have lines all the way to the end of the curb. It's crazy how busy this place gets! What I do, what I've learned, is to come a little earlier so that I'm always guaranteed a table without having to wait. The waitresses are always helpful. Constantly checking if my tea needs to be refilled. They're always running around with a pitcher of water refilling everyone's glass. Sometimes they do get a little busy, but I can't complain. I come here all the time and I am always helped. The waitresses there are very nice and quite eye catching if i may add. Overall, this place is great. Try it out, you'll end up coming here at least twice, if not more, a week. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and what not. They close until 2 or 3 in the morning. It's a great hookah spot if you love hookah. Definitely stop by! read more

Great Hookah, LCDs, Beer, and Delicious Food! by mrhookah I have come here on multiple occasions since it's relatively close to where I live. The first time I went here we got a spot inside (early 2009). It was on a thursday night. The seating was at half capacity when we arrived. You can actually get normal water here instead of shelving a few bucks for a bottled water. It's nice to be able to drink a crisp ice water. The charcoal service is great. They came to us more than enough times to replace the coals. I think the coal guy had a lot of time on his hand but it's good for us. It's always nice to smoke with clean charcoal. The service was really good. The couch seats were kind of tough on you. You would sit on one pillow but it felt like there was pure cement underneath you. With that account we've been sitting outside most of the time. Halfway through our hookah session the crowd was pretty much at full capacity. There were multiple big groups and the inside section was full. Good smokes, good charcoal, excellent service. Second time I came in the summer time 2009, I actually tried out the food. I had a beef kabob plate that included salad and lots of rice. It was a nice big meal with big chunks of beef and definitely kept you full. They also got their liquor license. Good for them! I enjoyed a nice beer with my food and smokes. We sat outside. They installed some nice big LCD televisions so we were able to keep up-to-date with our sports as they kept ESPN and Fox Sports West running. I guess you could consider this place kind of like a sports bar. Third time I came in the winter 2009. We came around 10pm. There was not that big of a crowd although I wasn't surprised. It was plenty cold and I forgot why we were sitting outside. They do have a fireplace but it was still pretty cold. Luckily the waitress turned on the heat lamp so it was plenty warm. The crowd slowly moved in as the night progressed. Eventually, there were groups of people drinking Coronas and it was a pretty full crowd again. People in Glendale like to smoke. Since my older reviews the charcoal service has become a bit more laid back. The service is still good though. read more

This place has good hookah's unfortunately they have one of the worst server I have ever delt with. Let me start off with the Waitress TINA this girl needs some major training. First of all she thinks she is doing you a favor when she comes to your table. Her attitude is the worst I have ever seen. I have been there three times and twice my group have had her. last night we went because we decided to give this place one more chance thank god we got this new girl who was so lovely and plesent to have as a server. She was sweet attentive and making sure all our needs where met. i wish I could remember her name I know it started with and S. She is young blonde hair and very pretty. Ask for her her if you want to go to this place. She will make it worth while. Unfortunately for us it is to late. Server TINA ruined it for us. Then we hear This TINA server yelling at this new girl for no reason at all but I think that she treats all of her co-workers as if they are incompetent. The owner of this place needs to get rid of this person, TINA, because they just lost a total of 12 people from ever coming back to his establishment. Unbelievable! Bunch of buddies and I (9, heavy set men) decided to escape from the wives and children to grab some hookah and beer! Hookah lounge was first in mind since it was local. Faye immediately sat us outside on the coach reassuring we would fit COMFORTABLY. +1! She sold us practically a little bit of everything from the menu leaving us with an absolute full stomach! Nachos were fabulous, cheese platter was great, pizza was okay! +2!! Initially, we had a budget of atleast $50/p. Our server was so consistent our tab came out to about $800!!! Who spends 800 at a local hookah bar?? " It's your turn to buy the table a round " That's all we heard through the night! We started with Black Walker and she sold us doubles through the night and insisted each of us to buy TWO rounds for the tables. Hence our 800 tab. +3!!! Any woman can use their ability to sell but from a little girl, she was on top of her game!! After all the food and drinks, our table got full quick! My experience at the Hookah Lounge in Glendale was quite disappointing. First off, the parking lot is small and it becomes incredibly crowded during peak hours, making it challenging to find a spot. There is limited street parking, which can difficult to find during peak hours as well. The seating options indoors and on the patio were decent, but that's where the positives end. I ordered a Moscow mule, but they served me a margarita instead, insisting it was what I asked for. The service, although friendly, was incredibly slow, especially when it came to bringing out the food. The quality of the food itself was just okay, nothing impressive. As for the hookah, I didn't personally try it, but I was with friends who did. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on that aspect of the experience. One major issue was the behavior of some guests, who were rowdy and often inappropriate, particularly towards women. While there was security present, I'm unsure if they took any meaningful action to address these issues. This is definitely something to keep in mind if you plan on visiting. read more

First off, I've been to many Hookah lounges in the Los Angeles area (Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood, and everything in between). This Lounge is the only one I've ever been excited about coming back to. Before even entering, the security guard is always awesome, welcoming, and remembers familiar faces. I love the inside/outside option. The Heat lamps nd all. The Waitresses are wonderful especially one who served us who I believed was named Kim or Kimberly.She was there the second before we needed something and totally awesome. I'll be sure to ask for her next time. Also there was the hookah guy named Justin . Friendly, Knew his hookah, and came by to set new coals quickly and sufficiently. Overall its an excellent place to throw a b-day party or to just hang during the weekend. I'm a regular here and plan on continuing to be. First time at here, and I'm officially hooked (pun intended). If you're looking for a laid-back, upscale hookah spot that doesn't feel like the same old smoky lounge, this place is a game changer. Let's talk hookah quality: 10/10. Smooth draw, thick clouds, and the flavors are spot on. We tried the blue mist and a custom mint + peach mix -- insanely good. The coals were managed perfectly, and the staff was on top of it without hovering. The ambiance is what really sets apart. Sleek interior, dim lighting, and a good mix of chill music that doesn't overpower conversation. I understand that some of the rules may seem silly, but they make up for it by offering a great hookah selection. Their pizzas, paninis and chili fries are incredible, and the hookah guys are attentive. What I appreciate the most about this establishment - and the reason why I come here regularly - is because everyone, including the owners and bouncer, make me feel very comfortable and at ease. There have been several instances where women have been approached by other customers with unwarranted attention and the owner, manager, and staff have approached the female customer to ensure that they feel comfortable. Had to take a minute to shout out the manager at this hookah lounge -- hands down one of the coolest, most professional people I've come across in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point. He made sure everything was smooth, checked in at the right times without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel like VIPs. This place is pretty good. I like it enough to make a yelp account just to let people know what I think of it. Here are a few pros and cons. CONS: The wait to get in sucks (especially because it was a friday). The alcohol selection was limited to only beer and wine. Food selection could be better. PROS: Hookah was really good, we didn't know what flavor to get so our waitress said that she would tell the bowl packer to make us one of his special mixes. Charcoal guys were really attentive. The DJ was good, he played a lot of old school hip hop which made us all nostalgic for high school days. And the biggest PRO & CON of all...the hot waitresses. Our waitress was exceptionally hot. I forgot her name but she had a tattoo on her back. CON because she burned me when I asked for her number. Overall, good place to hang out with friends. I went here the other day with a friend to have some hookah and dinner. We went in there was a lot of people and we got up for a second from our table after being seated to use the restroom and our table was taken from us by a different party. WOW really, so we went and got ourselves another table from the front where they seat people. Ok, we got another table and were sitting down after the hostess sits us and we are waiting for our waitress to come to serve us. We have the menu and were looking around found what we wanted to have. Literally about 20 minutes passes until a waitress comes by and asks us if we are ready. 20 minutes of waiting just for our order to be taken and we waited another 20 minutes for them to serve it to us. I would say that the management is very bad and very unprofessional. Staff are rude only the lady is polite, yet others are very rude and disrespectful. My experience in this place was unexpected. I was surprised that the manager s very rude to point that he can't mange to talk to us whn we came. So here is Wht happened I and my wife came from SF we thought we would find at least Wht we saw in the pics. We ordered the food the staff doesn't know how describe the food. We tried to slid it and expect the fact they don't know some infos about the food. And then we ordered the hookah they even start laying and they don't even know how to tell us Whts in the menu the hookah or some differences or whtever. I absolutely love this hookah lounge! The atmosphere is always chill, the music sets the perfect vibe, and the hookah flavors are top-notch, smooth, flavorful, and never harsh. Not to mention the food. But what really makes this place stand out are the amazing servers, CJ and Irene! I've been going to that place for over a year and it is absolutely amazing! The hookah flavors are pretty cheap and delicious, and if you ask the charcoal guys, they will tell you about their special mixes. The food is delicious, even though the cook does put too much alt sometime. If you are cold the hot chocolate is a GO! The service is nice, charcoal runs are quick, and the guys are very friendly with everybody. One thing though, if you want to leave the charcoal guys a tip, don't put it in your bill, they will never get it. It's better to just give it in person. Have you ID on you though, the security guard is pretty hard on that. Love it! P.S. The chairs inside are hard because with all the people dropping the hookas and charcoal soft cushions would catch on fire. read more

What a crappy experience. First of all, we were given an uncomfortable table next to the hookah station where it's all dust and smoke. When we asked Tony (manager) to move, they said all other tables were reserved. However, all other tables were actually empty and the vast majority remained so for the entire night. Then he came back BRIBING US! he said if you guys leave a good Yelp review under my name I'll move you to a better seat. What type of a manager does this?! So, please don't fall for the good reviews under his name. We suspect we were treated like this because we were not regulars. Service was slow but the server was nice, hookah guy was attentive. but in general not a fun experience. Avoid this place, i promise you'll leave disappointing. read more

Now let's talk about the hookah I now consider myself a hookah amateur, I was surprised by the amount of options they had. There were so many flavors I'd never heard of, plus different types of setups. One of them was themed after cartoon characters like Labubu or ziMomo (I forget the exact name but it was so fun and random in the best way). I had no idea hookah came in such creative setups! Service was fine no complaints. They were helpful when we asked about the hookah types and got us set up quickly. All in all this is definitely one of those hidden gems you'd probably never walk into unless you knew it was there. But I'm so glad I did. It's not flashy or fancy, but it's the kind of spot that makes you want to stay for hours and unwind. I'll definitely be back.
