However, I do believe that, with so much big competition in this area, some of their dishes can be better. 1. Ha Kao - Pretty nice and plump dumplings with a good wrapper to filling ratio, though the wrapper kept falling apart on us and sticking to the container and didn't complement the shrimp on the inside. 2. Siu Mai - I'm so mad I didn't enjoy this, despite it being one of my favorite things to get at dim sum. The ones we got were just really meaty with none of the other flavors coming through. 3. Shrimp Rice Rolls - I adore these, and Crown thankfully makes it really good. Perfectly bouncy, and unlike the Ha Kao, the texture of this is right for the inside to complement it. I do wish their sauce was a little more complex, though. 4. Fried Shrimp Balls - This is one of the dishes that seems to be pretty uniform across all the restaurants. You're either going to like it or not. I enjoyed it though. 5. Soup Dumplings - Yummy, light broth and not overly medicinal. The wrapper texture was a little inconsistent from bite to bite overall. 6. Egg Tart - I usually don't really like this, but this one was made well. Nice crumbly texture and a very light eggy taste in the filling. Other than that, there were no major flaws in either the service nor the albeit bare interior and exterior of the building. Overall a really good experience that holds up well compared to the other dim sum places in the area.

The fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned, carrying a bit more of a cajun flavor rather than just regularly salted. My parents definitely enjoy oysters, so they ordered the Charbroiled Oysters and really enjoyed it, as well as the Uni Oyster with Quail Egg. They also got the Cowboy Lobster Shrimp Roll that was gone before I even took a second look their way. We finished the meal with a yummy, dense basque cheesecake! Every customer that came in during our time there was personally greeted by Michael, and it seemed like they were all repeat customers. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I believe the crawfish is seasonal, so go during crawfish season because this pho was delicious. The crawfish were so tender and the pho was so flavorful. The beef dish was also so good to eat and balanced. The fried beef balanced so well with the fresh salad and rice. I will say that when we went the parking lot was a little deserted at night. I would definitely lock your doors and take all your valuables. But that's all or Houston, so just stay safe!

The tamarind sauce is also SO addicting that I ate 2 bowls of rice with it. One crab was enough to feed 3 of us. Another must order dish is their snow pea leaves. I don't know why but it tastes 10x better than when I make it at home myself. Skip the chef's special chicken - the sauce doesn't contain the green onions, only the ginger, making it not as fragrant and missing the mark on this iconic HK dish.
