The laundry list of honey-dos to prepare were piling up alongside the laundry list of other honey-dos I was dreading before we knew the baby was coming, and I finally gave in and let my wife call in the pro. Yes. I needed her to schedule it because I was too ashamed to admit I was an abject failure in this department and content to let these tasks go undone to keep cash in my pocket. Chad consulted with us by phone to get an understanding of the project and workspace, as well as inform us of what items might be needed to complete the project so we could be entirely prepared. He arrived on time, worked incredibly cleanly and efficiently, and had our projects done to perfection in short order. On top of that he's super friendly, willing to share his approaches with you as a homeowner, and a general pleasure to be around. They quoted me a 4-6 week lead time, but since it was a relatively small project, they'd probably get me in sooner. A little over a week later, the team was here, did an excellent job securing the wooden fence post with a steel one, replaced the broken fence board and even trimmed some trees back that would have caused additional damage.
