I was given great post-care expectations/instructions which were clear to understand, his chairside professionals were 5-stars in every way! Well it's about 6-8 months later & unfortunately for me I woke at 1am in pain, so looks like I'm headed back in the very near future for a lower tooth extraction this time...but I'm happy 2 say I'm not dreading or worrying it's going 2 B an unpleasant experience when I'm in Dr Hooe's care again! Eventhough I told the Dr I needed extra novacaine, he didn't listen. He was so rough with the 2nd injection he caused me to scream with pain. I've been to plenty of specialist, so I know how rough he was. I had to argue with person responsible for insurance claim because he insisted insurance wouldn't cover any of procedure. They also wouldn't bill both my insurances. Turns out DeltaDental paid some of it so I had been billed almost $300 more. I had to call & get reimbursed. They only sent me part of amount so I had to call again! Then I had to submit another claim to Humana Dental when I found out they covered the extraction. The check for $436.77 incorrectly sent to Seattle Oral & not Mr since I paid for procedure out of pocket. Seattle Oral cashed check, never notifying me. Now I'm trying to get in touch with whoever handles this, after sending email, voice-mail, speaking with reception. I was told I'd hear back this morning & haven't yet. They've now kept my money 3x! I wonder how much money they've kept from other people​​

I saw Dr. Neal at his Northgate office for an extraction and implant for a single molar…read more The day of my extraction I was prepped and then left waiting for almost 45 minutes while he was (as his assistant told me) cleaning up a shattered tooth on the patient before me. When Dr. Neil finally arrived he was agitated, rough, and clumsy, even dropping a piece of equipment into my mouth and barking "don't swallow that!" After the procedure he disappeared quickly without comment, leaving the assistant to apologize and offer care advice. On my return check up Dr. Neil kept me waiting for 30 minutes and was again visibly agitated. He had trouble removing the cap on my implant and for the second time dropped a tool in my mouth. By the time he'd finished my lip was bleeding and I had a bruise on my cheek. He left without offering reassurance or apology. Two weeks have passed and my jaw is still aching from this encounter. Honestly, I was a bit stunned; Craig Neal's rough manner, lack of social skills, and clumsy handling of tools was surprising considering the extravagant cost of the procedure.

I was super nervous and the team at Northgate was very helpful and able to calm my nerves. I went under general anesthesia, and I know reactions are very personal but I was coherent and in my right mind when they read me the post-op care instructions, even though I did have someone there. This tells me they are skilled at giving you the right dosage. I had little pain after surgery and healed quickly and easily with sleep and the medication I was given. Basically no pain by day 3, no bruising on my face. I didn't shop around because Dr. Guo was recommended by my dentist, and I felt very safe that he is a MD as well as a DMD. To me the price with my insurance was reasonable for three teeth and the level of expertise I got. I also wasn't charged for the consultation or the follow up. Highly recommend!

Amanda explained the charges thoroughly and she is warm, communicative, and professional. Dr. Lowe is the best! He is caring, knowledgeable, and truly excellent at what he does. He takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure the patient feels comfortable. He also has to be the fastest and most expert oral surgeon I've ever seen.
