I have had to have 2 root canals in the past 15 months and I can't say enough about the amazing team at Endodontics Northwest. The front office is welcoming and transparent about the billing practice. The assistants are friendly and help make you feel at ease. Lastly, I can't give enough praise to Dr. Colic. He is on his game with his practice. He performed both of my root canals and helped managed my stress by letting me know what stage of the process he was at during the entire procedure, answering my questions and reassuring me that everything was going great. And the most amazing part, is I have had no pain during or after either of my root canals. I was worried when I learned that I needed a root canal, having heard horror stories about the procedure. Those fears turned out to be baseless. The procedure went well and I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Colic is the best! I needed a root canal and was in terrible pain. He was willing to do this same day (during the early pandemic when everything was challenging for dentists and all other dentists were unresponsive) and stayed after hours to ensure he could help me before the weekend. The procedure was pain feee and it was like watching a ballet - seriously, his hygienist was literally in sync and they were so quick. It was a really great experience overall (other than needing a root canal to begin with), I cannot recommend these guys enough. read more

Let me say first off I hate going to the dentist I've always had a terrible experience and over the last 20 years I've developed an irrational anxiety about going. Dr. Patel (and his staff) was the best specialist I have ever seen. I had the best experience ever. I had to have a root canal done and I was so nervous. But he was efficient and fast. He's more on the conservative side which I loved. He listened to my concerns no matter how silly they sounded and he explained everything so I could understand it. I was referred here by my regular dentist, Harbor Square Dental, who, by the way are the best dentists in the Northwest, for a root canal. I have never had a root canal and was pretty apprehensive. However Dr Allen Colic was very comforting and reassured me that I would be done in about an hour and I should have very little discomfort. And he was more than right...I had absolutely no pain! My jaw was a little sore from holding my mouth open for an hour, but that was it! Nor did I have any pain the next day! So I couldn't be happier with the work they did on me! The rest of the staff was very nice and professional. The office was bright and clean. And all my payment options were explained to me before any work was done. Highly Recommended! read more

A dentist clinic is not in my list of favorite places to go. But I had to have a root canal done to save one of my teeth, which was in terrible shape. My regular dentist referred me to see Dr. Jiten Patel, and went in apprehensively. Dr. Patel carefully checked the "tooth" and explained what he saw, the procedure that needs to be done, how it's going to be done, and what to expect afterwards, normal stuff. I told him I was really nervous, and that I needed a lot of anaesthesia, simply because I am so sensitive to pain! He said I wouldn't feel it. And he was right. I was supposed to go back to my regular dentist after a week to have the crown on that tooth, but my husband was involved in a high speed car accident in December while on his way home (2 cars racing on the freeway forced him off the road, and both cars drove away), sustained severe injuries to his head, spine, and ribs and had to stay in ICU for 27 days. and had to stay in the hospital for an additional month! When I finally had the time to get my tooth fixed, I explained to Dr. Patel and his staff the situation I was in, and he agreed to do a 2nd root canal on that tooth (the temporary filling fell out of my mouth while I was staying with my husband at the hospital). Dr. Patel and hiis staff are so understanding of my situation...they are really nice, warm people who want to help. Definitely recommending Dr. Patel, not just for his excellent work but for his kindness!!! read more

Dr. Patel and his staff were friendly, professional, quick, and very skillful. I have very little pain after a root canal and an immense feeling of relief from having the issue resolved. Dr. Patel was willing to answer all of my questions in terms that a lay person would understand, and to discuss my options where appropriate. Also they got me in really quickly. You can probably get a less expensive root canal, but I'm certain you can't get a better one. read more

I had an emergency abscess on Jan 1st and Dr. Collick and his assistant came right away to meet me in their office. They were so kind, gentle, and, reassuring. I was a bit scared as I was extremely swollen and in a lot of pain and in 15 minutes I had the start of a root canal, medicine in place and was good to go. Can't say enough about their professional work ethic, care in the details and ability to take something difficult and handle it well. From that point I healed just as he said I would, finished the root canal with him after the medicine worked and left with nothing but great things to say! read more

When he first met with me, he explained the procedure in a way that made sense to me. He talked about his training and experience, and the extra steps he takes to create a good experience for his patients. I was concerned about the cost of a root canal. But Dr. Patel and his staff addressed my concerns, and they came up with a payment arrangement that worked for me. I really appreciated their compassion. I could tell that Dr. Patel cared about me as a person. This is more than just a job for him - he obviously wants to help people.
