Apparently there were many cracked tiles, probably when panels were put in, tenting and/or neighbor's avocados. He checked for this type of tiles and the color. Recommended extra tiles because not many in my color which I did want. Rob and his helper went straight to work for many hours (in the hot sun and no breeze) due to the tile being slippery, not to cause further breakage and must do one at a time). It was completed in about 3 days, though there was follow up inspection and a correction of some work done, so it took about a week. They cleaned up every day when they were done. The initial inspection was complimentary, and they took drone footage at that time as well as footage at each step of the way. It was interesting to see my house from above! I think maybe my only disappointment was that initially, I had opted to get the highest grade shingle but resorted to the medium grade. The initial inspection was done in March and the job took place in August, so I would have thought that 5 months was enough time to order the materials and get it shipped, but was instead told it would take until the end of September to come in, so I just went with the medium grade. I would highly recommend Kapili to anyone who needs a new roof!
