The food today was the best I've had at Jaidee or any other Thai restaurant: the flavors were vibrant, the food hot, everything attractively plated. Been a long-time customer, and I love their food. My only real complaint is that, since the…read moremanagement change or whatever it was, they changed the egg rolls and the chicken on a stick. The egg rolls in particular have gone from what I'd call "Authentic" to "Store Bought and Oven Baked" where instead of the crisp cabbage and such, its almost like a mush. The chicken on a stick, meanwhile... I'm not sure if they changed up the coating or what, but the taste is more plain than it used to be. Overall, while still a good place to eat... I'm going to have to drop it down from a five star to a four.

We ate: filet mignon with scallops and filet mignon with shrimp, and they both came with a small clear soup, a small salad, fried rice, noodles and vegetables. We also got a spicy tuna roll and a sweetheart roll. The filet mignon and the shrimp were good. Two of the six scallops had something hard inside them...Not sure what it was. There were only two hibachi cooks and we think that the kitchen was also short on workers; our waitress apologized several times for the rolls taking a while (20 minutes). Our waitress was nice but we would tell she was overwhelmed, again, the restaurant was running low on staff.

Once we were seated and presented with the menu we realized why...half price sushi! We ordered several different ones, Dragon Roll, White Swan Roll, Spicy Lady, a salmon and a tuna roll. Overall a good experience for 4 stars.

It includes a spring roll, four pieces of California roll, a scoop of rice, and your choice of soup or salad. They also include a small container of katsu dipping sauce and soy sauce. For the price, you actually get a lot, and the quality was solid. This was honestly one of the better bento boxes I've had on my travels. I added a Pepsi for $2.50, which interestingly came in one of those clear plastic quart takeout containers. It was not the most practical since I nearly spilled multiple times, so just keep that in mind. I placed my order around noon on a Friday, and it took about 20 minutes for them to have it ready. Overall, a dependable spot if you're craving a good filling bento box at a reasonable price.

I haven't tried the hibachi yet but from seeing other people's plates it looks like they have huge servings. Some of my favorites are the sexy jalapeño, the rock shrimp, the fantastic role, and the volcano roll. Although, I've never had a roll from here that I haven't liked. I've been here many times and I've never had a mistake made on any of my orders and am always so impressed by how fast the food comes out.
