Just got into town and decided to try it as it is not far from my hotel. I ordered the fried dumplings, house fried rice and beef with garlic sauce. The beef had 90% vegetables and 10% beef. The sauce had great taste. The fried rice was good. The dumplings had good taste buy were slightly chewy. The food was ready quickly so not sure if it was old or what but will order from another restaurant next time. read more

This was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The customer service was just as disappointing. The staff was rude, and when their card machine wasn't working, the cashier never bothered to tell me. I had to leave and go to Food Lion to get cash, only to return and have my change dropped into a secure box because there was no direct interaction with the employees. The food was even worse. My entrée barely had any chicken, but somehow it had bones in it, which was very strange. I also ordered crab Rangoon, and they were fried so hard they were inedible. Overall, the service and the food were both terrible. I would not recommend eating here. read more

Absolutely horrible. The noodles in my soup had obviously been sitting in the broth for hours, and are literally falling apart. My poor poor platter was supposed to include 2 ribs. 1 side of them is completely missing and all that is there is a bone. My subgum wonton was supposed to include crispy wonton. So much for crispy because they were buried under sauce. Never again! read more

I ordered the spicy version, but it had zero heat--it tasted exactly like the regular dish. It's clear the food is premade and just microwaved, including the wontons. It feels like this was cooked days ago and just reheated to order. Extremely disappointing. read more

Food was just ok. Quality used to be better. There were like 5 shrimp in the shrimp and broccoli. Egg drop soup was oily and lacked everything. The guy at the counter was not friendly and borderline rude. Won't be returning. Prices were also high for the low quality. read more

I just ate here after not eating here in along time. It used to be so good but now the noodles were mushy, the meat on a stick were these thick unseasoned pieces of meat that were too tough to eat. The filling for the dumplings and Wonton soup tasted like it was full of fillers and something else that tastes different to me than it used to. The crab Rangoons were folded like triangle napkins, flat and almost empty. I really wanted to continue eating here because of the proximity to my house but I will go farther and get hopefully better food next time. It was a complete waste of my money. read more

We actually pass a couple of Chinese restaurants to get to this one be use the food is that much better. They have the best chicken on a stick in all of Hampton Roads. They also have a very good General Tso chicken. Worth the trip! Now I wish they'd come to Harbour View Suffolk. read more

Solid Chinese take away. Nothing to write home about but I'll be back because it's close to my house and the food was fine. The staff was friendly and accommodating when it came to my substitutions and requests. The prices are fair and the portions are large. read more

The food we ordered was bland. I was disappointed bc I often order from here. I'm not sure if they changed the cook or the meat? It tasted odd. Also, the rest of the food just didn't taste so good. I'll probably start ordering from a different chinese restaurant to go to from here on out. So disappointed bc this is my go-to chinese restaurant. This isn't the first time this has happened... the dishes just don't taste right or as great anymore. read more

Orange chicken is not real chicken!!!! Absolute scam. It's cartilage with breading. Would not recommend this. read more

Hong Kong Restaurant - S10. Orange Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Suffolk, Virginia

I've been ordering from here for years and until recently I didn't have any problems. About 2 months ago our food was not great but it was edible and everybody has off days so we ordered from them again this past Saturday. It was disgusting, even the the crunchy noodle for the soup were disgusting. I don't know if they have changed owners or what has happened but I won't be back for sure. read more

New to the area so I decided to drop in and grab lunch. Service was ok. I was charged for one container of hot oil. No area to grab condiments, just thrown in the bag. Fork and napkins are not included. General Tso chicken was dry and mostly breading. Egg Fo Young was delicious. Restaurant's have really been slacking in Customer Service over the years. read more

Outstanding American Chinese food! Prompt service and great prices. Not greasy or heavy feeling. Equivalent to Yummy Chinese which is also an excellent take out joint. I ordered Szechuan Chicken and General Tso's chicken, both were fantastic and very flavorful. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite in between errands and appointments. The restaurant was clean nothing super impressive about the interior. I called in the order for pick up and the person on the phone was polite, took the order, and told me things would be ready in 10 minutes. I ordered the chicken teriyaki which comes with four pieces and an eggroll. Just like they stated, in 10 minutes the food was ready, it was super hot and smelled delicious. The chicken was good, flavorful, a little crispy on the outside not really wet like I've experienced with some other chicken teriyaki's. The egg roll was average, not the best but nowhere near the worst. I look forward to trying one of their combination meals or their pancit. We will return again. read more

If you are looking for lo mein that will blow your tastebuds out of the water, than look no further! This is the best lo mein in Suffolk! Slightly higher prices than your average Chinese restaurant, but it is totally worth it. I am still exploring their other dishes time by time, but so far it's delicious! Great Family Meals deals as well. read more

Got orange chicken with brocolli. It had two pieces of broccoli and the chicken has a fishy taste like maybe from overused oil. Probably won't go back. read more

We really like Hong Kong! Everything we have ever had has been very tasty. My favorite is the Hot and Sour Soup.

Food is great and they are our ho to place when we want a quick meal. Portions are always filling. My favorite/guilty pleasure is the Hot & Sour soup. I appreciate that they fish out all the meat for me. Can't go wrong, great service. read more

Searched high and low for a decent oriental restaurant in the Suffolk area--finally found one! Food is tasty, fresh, authentic. Portions are generous. Friendly staff. Might be an occasional minor problem but nothing to cause us to give a bad review. We keep going back! read more

I ordered three different entrées are, I do this often to have leftovers available in the fridge. I made my plate with a little of each and sat down to enjoy my meal. After just a few minutes I got up and threw everything in the garbage disposal and the rest of the food in the trash. All three dishes were nasty. I'll give them another try in a few months but if that doesn't work out I probably won't try it again. read more

The individual offerings are always very good, not overly salty as is often the case in the take out arena. We just had a delicious dinner with multiple selections (the "house soup" was todays new hit) but the fried noodles accompanying our meal were so "old" oily they were inedible. This is not the first time we have experienced this. Please get it fixed and you will have 5 stars from us! The rest of our experiences with this establishment are excellent in all categories. read more

Always dependable and quick. No complaints. Recommend to only carry out. The dining area is extremely lacking.

This is my go-to place when I'm craving asian food. On a consistent basis, I've received delicious food, great service and exceptional value (the portions are generous!). It's close to where we live, so it's a convenient location for getting lunch/dinner to go. read more

Almost the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Save your money, drive into Portsmouth for Chinese food.

got sick after eating here last night. i wish i didnt trust blindly by sitting after ordering rather than watching them cook my food. 8 hrs after, still have a bad after-taste, almost like they used burned oil the same oil they fry stuff in, instead of throwing away, they use it up in cooking other food. They seem to add color in the rice used for fried rice, just a different strong unusual yellow and wasnt turmeric. the chow main was just gooey! tried it once, never again!. 3 items, worst $30.00 spent, totally ruined my chinese food craving as all ended up being trashed. Dont be fooled by the visual impression they try to set. read more

So, I'm on the road and just run in for a quick carry-out, not expecting much from a strip mall. Picked up some nice Singapore Mai Fun, which was deliciously spicy, and full of good meat. Too much oil for my tastes, but hey, it is what it is. Bonus points for the very polite little girl that helped ring me up and hand me some chopsticks. read more

Food was pretty good and they gave me a a lot of meat in my fried rice. I ordered large tray and they didn't prepare it until I arrived there so it would be fresh out of the wok...I can appreciate that but I would have given them 4 stars if the kitchen area was a bit more cleaner. read more

Good. The General is good and rice is ok. Will order something different. Service is straightforward. They will staple the bag and forget parts of your order; remember to open bag and check. read more

Horrible hygiene. Rubbing their heads, no gloves and then picking up unprepared food. Handling money and then handling unprepared food. Disgusting. Revolting. You are crazy to eat anything from this sewer. read more
