Best Chinese food around. Owners are so nice. No longer a buffet, but great take out for home.

The kitchen staff was obnoxiously loud, which with an empty dining room was blatantly disruptive. As far as the food, it was okay, the steak had a great flavor and was cooked medium rare just as asked. They gave me a healthy portion of sautéed mushrooms and onions, and the broccolini was lovely. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries but they lacked any real flavor and, rather, were under-salted. I decided to try an appetizer of cornbread and honey with butter.. but I wish I had skipped it. The cornbread is dry, there is no corn in it (which for me is a negative but some might like that) and the flavor didn't impress me. Overall, it's a very expensive place to eat to not really enjoy your meal. I would suggest if you want a good steak head over to Sammy K's instead.. you'll cut your bill in half and leave satisfied.

Like a massive lucky cat and cherry blossom trees that lit up. Asian dragons on the counter and shelves. They were cute but didnt carry thruout the restaurant and Infouns that kind of confusing. But then there's a massive old photo of George Washington along with an oddly placed refrigerator that has big cuts of meat. There's just so much going on in the lobby that didn't tie together. Tbo, kind of gave me a little anxiety. The service was really nice. Every staff member that I met was welcoming and nice friendly -zero complaints. My food was ready a few minutes after I had arrived. I had ordered a size brussels sprouts and a side of pierogi. Brussels sprouts had the most potential they gave a lot of brussels sprouts, which were cooked perfectly and we're generous with everything they put on top of it... But that's where the problem was... on menu it read, "balsamic drizzled" Hmmm... Drizzled. These are more like brussels sprout balsamic soup. If it wasn't a takeout order, I would've sent them back. Wowzers, were they were swimming in the sauce. It wasn't that the sauce wasn't good. There was just far too much of it. made it un enjoyable. I didn't finish it If I could make a culinary suggestion to the restaurant, I would reword the description and iwn up to they are in a balsamic sauce and not call it a drizzle because there is nothing drizzled about this. I would not have ordered it if I knew it was in a balsamic sauce The pierogi... I was flat out, disappointed by this This says it was pan seared. I'm skeptical about this menu description. These look like they were flash fried. Either in the deep fryer, an air fryer or worse microwaved. I don't cook in the microwave so I really don't know what they would look like in the microwave But I do know what pan sear pierogi (we make homemade ones all the time) look like and these didn't look like that but they definitely did not appear to have any sign of being seared. Rat. They were tough and chewy on the outside with no buttery flavor that a pan seared item would have. I would not order this again. Inside of the pierogi tasted fine and the toppings the bacon and onions were plentiful, flavorful and we're done really nicely So- All I ate fully was the pierogi toppings. So for 43.10 (includes a tip) i had the MOST expensive dinner that consisted of a side of bacon and onions. As that is all that i felt was enjoyable and worth eating.

I was impressed with how clean it was and the amazing variety of food they had. Ordering was easy, seniors eat for 9.99 M-F. I believe non seniors were $12. I looked online for latest prices and took a pic since there's older prices online. They have something for everyone and not just Chinese/Japanese food including a sushi bar and hibachi. Soups, salad, pizza, wings, desserts and ice cream. So many things, probably the most variety I've ever seen. Staff were friendly and picked up your empty plates as you finished. All seven of us were full and satisfied, especially my dad lol.

Located in a shopping plaza on Mentor Blvd. you will find a clean, well organized and well stocked buffet. The decor is modern and fairly generic, seating is comfortable and the restaurant is large with several seating areas. As with most buffets you pay as you enter, prices are somewhat reasonable given the way inflation has gone. Once seated you have your choice of the serving stations. Up first is the salad area which is well stocked and includes fresh fruit, boiled shrimp, mussels and artificial crab salad. The salad station also has plenty of dressing and sauces. There is also a soup station with 3 or 4 soups, unfortunately they do not have shrimp chips which I always think is a bonus. There are several buffet stations of hot foods, mainly Chinese with a small selection of American standards. For me I usually get some rice noodles, lo mein or fried rice and then stock up on the shrimp, clams, mussels and the baked artificial crab. Overall the food is fresh and they do a good job of keeping things stocked. Where Fuji comes up a little short for me is that the flavors are a bit muted; the food is under seasoned for me. I usually to use quite a bit of the spicy oil from the salad bar to add some flavor. The sushi station is ok, they make the sushi fresh, but it is only maki rolls and the selection is about 5 or 6 varieties at lunch. Most of the sushi is made with either the crab sticks or shrimp, no fresh fish. Next to the sushi station is the grill station where you pick the raw ingredients and then have the chef cook them. Obviously this food is cooked fresh, although once again I find the sauces to be a bit under seasoned. Once you are ready for dessert there is a pastry section and a scoop your own ice cream. All of this is sweet and pretty good, but nothing really great. Overall Fuji Buffet provides decent food, there is a good variety and you should be able to fill up as much as you want. For me the flavors could be better, not bad just a bit muted. Of course your mileage may vary.

They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.
