I stopped by to go to the chicken sandwich restaurant next door but they were closed. I ended up ordering a one item combo with the usual chow mein, fried rice, and one of my favorites orange chicken. They give you a good amount of food. The orange chicken was very good but the chow mein and rice were blah and bland.

Not bad! Great, quick Chinese option for work lunch. They have a pretty good variety of entrees to choose from. For $11, I got chow mein, orange chicken, and shrimp and broccoli. Really filling and was able to stretch it to 2 meals. Hits the spot and glad this is nearby. Even during the lunch rush, it goes by fairly quickly.

This is how Fried Rice should look like.... The grains are separated from each other.... (Aka Not mushy or clumpy like the rest )

Place has been here forever and survived the pandemic. Must be doing something right. The food is hot and the service is friendly.

Think made-to-order elevated food court Chinese-ISH-style dishes. SERVICE: when we first walked in, the guy bussing tables onto his cart made eye contact, then COMPLETELY IGNORED US despite it being obvious that we were there for dinner. off-putting, i ALMOST WALKED OUT :/ Once we chased someone down and got seated, our waiter was super FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Food came out quickly and piping hot. FOOD: PORTIONS-what stands out is the HUGE PORTIONS, one plate could probably feed to and perhaps three moderate eaters. QUALITY-unusually and OVERWHELMINGLY OILY. Way more than I would've expected, and detracted from the eating experience. **Cheese WonTon-wrappers were FRIED CRISP AND TENDER, but the decent dollop of cream cheese filling was overwhelming. **KUNG POW CHICKEN was the BEST DISH we had, barely spicy but it hid the oiliness better somehow. **NOODLE (?chow fun) SHRIMP was difficult to eat, and the EXCESSIVE GREASE COATED MY TONGUE so bad the i couldn't taste the shrimp or veggies. **BLACK BEAN BEEF was fair. OILY BUT FLAVORFUL. veggies were nicely cooked still crunchy, but the HARSH ONIONS were overpowering. sweet or milder onions would let me taste the other ingredients more. the beef itself was tender and tasty. I personally won't be returning, but I see the value due to large portions and moderate prices. i'd gladly sacrifice quantity for higher quality.

Like holy smokes, are the chefs on steroids back there? A salute to their efficiency and time management. Family ordered the Thai fried rice, house special fish fillet, pork chop with Peking sauce, and a tofu dish I do not know the name of. The fish fillet was most definitely running the show here. It was heavenly with every bite. My brother and I had to practically restrain ourselves from demolishing the entire plate. Another deep nod to the chef's magnificent craftsmanship. Order this for a taste of no regrets. The servers were absolutely amazing. For a typical Chinese restaurant, it is pretty standard to be served and for the most part ignored unless you needed something specific. However, the servers here were right in the middle of the horrendous lunch rush, and yet they still managed to carry out gestures that genuinely touched me- one of the waitresses waited at the door and held it open for us when my mom returned from the restroom because they could see that my mom had limited mobility. The guy serving us also made sure he was always giving her ample room to move around amidst all the chaos and commotion of the restaurant. Considering the tables and chairs are inches apart from each other too, we were pretty cramped. I asked another worker for utensils later on, and he was genuinely so sweet going about it, patient and smiling. Service here really warmed my heart, which was such a bonus. The setting was probably the most intriguing part. I am not familiar about the history of this particular location, but considering the walls in the hallway had old newspaper articles and images of the establishment from who knows how many decades ago, I would say it's teetering on the edge of being a museum in itself. Makes for a cool peek into history, but the run down building and yellowing, stained walls in the hallway might throw some people off who are looking to dine somewhere that has kept more in stride with modern times. This visit was fantastic from beginning to end, and all the small details really made everything come together into a wonderful synopsis of food, family, and a little extra kindness.
