Special beef pho combo: The pho was cooked to perfection where it was not falling apart or overcooked. The beef and beef balls were cooked well along with the beef tripe. The soup base was well seasoned and did not need any extra sauces for this bowl of pho. Prices: The prices here are decent and not overpriced like some other Viet restaurants in New Jersey. Overall: My friends and I would most likely come back here in the future to try out other menu items.

I didn't know that before coming, and I feel like if they marketed that more or kept the Saigon Cafe name, they might attract more customers who are familiar with the location in Millburn. Regardless, this was a nice spot to satisfy the Vietnamese craving. I tried both their bun (vermicelli dish) and banh mi, which both had deliciously grilled meats and were generously sized.

The waitresses were cool and attentive. For starters, we had the scallion pancake which was just okay, nothing special. My friend ordered the chicken katsu and said it was alright. We ordered the halfway roll and kani Stella rolls, and those were actually really good. They were fresh and flavorful. For drinks, she had a Diet Pepsi and I got bubble tea. Overall, the experience was just okay. Not bad, not amazing. I'd say it's worth checking out, especially for the sushi, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

The salmon here is always fresh. No fishy taste! The portion of rice in the poke bowl was perfect, not a lot! Everything was fresh, the lettuces, cucumber, corn, avocado, edamame beans and seaweed salad.. I love the fish eggs topping and hair like ogo! I asked for extra Unagi sauce and spicy mayo. Their poke bowl was so delicious! The creamy corn soup was so creamy and perfectly seasoned. It was not salty at all.. The crab Rangoon with a side of sauce was so crunchy and tender. The slight taste of crab and a creamy cream cheese was so good, specially, when dipped in the sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp tempura roll was perfectly sized for my wife. You'll most likely be seated quickly, since this is mostly a takeout place. The service is good, and the workers are friendly. I enjoyed the Thai tea as well. The tea flavor was strong enough to not get overpowered by the sweet milk, and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. However, the curry was lackluster. I ordered the yellow curry, and it was very bland and runny. I couldn't taste any spices and could barely taste the coconut. The vegetables weren't well cooked, and there was almost no flavour to them. The rice wasn't spectacular either. I haven't tried the other menu items, but I could not recommend the curry.

I came here for dinner with the family and ordered a veg thom kha, 3 curries and a duck pad Thai. The soup tasted average and had too many raw vegetables. The 2 panaang curries were not spicy at all. The fish in the curry was nicely fried. The yellow curry (not spicy) was too sweet , was hi-liter yellow and very watery. My kid, who loves curry, barely ate hers. The duck pad that was a miss too. We were the only Asian family diners.

1 Star - Absolute Rip-Off. Check Your Bag Before You Leave…read more I'd give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a large Tom Kha soup with both shrimp and chicken for pickup, and apparently, "large" means "half-empty" in their kitchen. To make matters worse, they completely forgot the chicken. I paid full price for a premium, multi-protein soup and ended up with a container of half-filled broth and a couple of sad shrimp. Charging customers full price for missing ingredients and cutting corners on portion sizes is a blatant rip-off. If you're going to order from Tasty Thai, bring a measuring cup, a magnifying glass, and check your food at the counter before you walk out. Absolutely ridiculous.

This restaurant is located in a small group of street lined businesses, with parking along the street. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating on their patio. We ordered the Pad Garlic and Pad King lunch specials, both with chicken and hot spice level. The lunch specials come with a salad dressed with a sweet dressing. Our food was out in record time and was piping hot, so it's definitely a spot if you are in a time crunch- hello power lunch! For my daughter's birthday, we tried Koto (hibachi is one of her favorites) and we really had a wonderful experience. I had made a reservation as we were looking to go on a Friday evening with six people, and were seated right away when we arrived. The decor is appropriate and the tepanyaki tables are as you'd expect. The menu is vast, we ordered a few appetizers (YUMMY Gyoza), and various hibachi combos. The portion sizes are what you'd expect (maybe on the larger side), the fried rice is extra, and worth it, though next time I'd order one per every two people (just too much food for us). Every bite was just right, especially the scallops. The flavors, cooked perfectly and overall well timed. The show was good, not great, but again, the food was very tasty. We have definitely found our new hibachi place.
