This place was so cool. The donuts were still fresh at 9am. The place is nice and clean, the coffee was fresh and hot and you can smell the sweetness of them making more. The lady that helped me was so nice. The price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be back! read more

In the area and took the opportunity to try some of their donuts... Because I love donuts. Hahah. At this time, it seems like they have all the classic/traditional donuts.. I didn't see any of the "fancy"/decorated donuts, (it was 9pm on a weekday), but the display was full. I assume the fancy stuff are during holidays and special order?? The shop itself was simple, clean, and had several tables/chairs to sit at... I got a box of 1/2 doz to go ($5+) and was pleasantly surprised that their was an extra donut added in!... Quiet guy behind the counter but he seemed nice. I tried an old fashion chocolate glazed donut, and the next day I tried a buttermilk. The donut itself was moist, dense, and slightly sweet. I had a great small cinnamon roll from this donut shop. I picked one up on my way home after dinner for a little dessert. The roll was only .85 cents. Good old fashioned donut shop. They had cute festive designs during Christmas (snowman, Santa and red and green sprinkles donuts). In my opinion, their donuts taste just like Mary's. They have huge apple fritters that are enough for 2 people. They were fully stocked on Christmas Day! Nice and friendly ladies that work there. read more

I came for the açaí . The toppings were very good but the açaí blend fell a bit flat and it was more toppings than açaí . At $6.50 it was a good value and I appreciate the fresh options from a donut shop. read more

This place is our go-to! The staff is always nice and quick. Prices are pretty fair. One downfall is the the location. It's right near a pretty seedy smoke shop and motel so you can't sit and enjoy with your kids. Perfect to pick up and go though. read more

I can't say enough good things about this donut shop! I had a last minute holiday party at work, and needed to order 500 assorted donuts. I called and spoke to Shannon the day before the event, in desperate help, and she made it happen with no hesitation! I arrived the next morning at 7am, and Lisa was so kind to help me load all of the boxes into my car. They also had boxes of coffee that I was able to order, and even included the cups, creamer and sugars! You guys seriously saved the day! Not only are these people extremely friendly, and happy to help, but their donuts are SO deeeeeelicious!!! We got so many compliments from all of our employees about how good they were. We were doing a late night checkin to the Best Western hotel next door and needed a snack. At the late hour the donuts were fresh! They are made onsite, which we don't see in my home area. The mango pineapple smoothie was delicious. Yes, low key, but tasty food, clean, and prompt service. Prices were right, too. We will be back to try the croissants and sandwiches. 4 days later I'm back to add that we ended up walking over every night for a different, fresh cooked donut! We will be back! read more

Super cute little donut shop that also sells sandwiches, açaí and other food items. They're very sweet and greeted us with a smile. They accept EBT for all the food there which is awesome, I wanted to leave a tip but when I paid with EBT the machine didn't prompt a tip. Great dough nuts @ a cheap price. After a LONG DAY. And after getting a coffe....doughnuts sounded sooooooooooo goood. Got a dozen. God love the french curlers, maple bars, Bavarian cream, old fashioned... ah, lol I just love em all. The late night guy is nice, and can be talkative if you have a moment to chill. I don't know if I go in at a bad time or what... There's a ver small selection. One time I went in with my kids who had to have donuts and there were some apple fritters and some crusty looking donuts and twists, at around 3 pm and the lady said she wasn't making more donuts that day... At 3pm! Anyway... We walked out empty handed and found another donut shop instead I would give it a higher rating because the lady at the counter is always friendly and chatters with my very silly kids every time we went there but for a place called sunny donuts they're lacking in the donut variety department. Was dropping off a client late in the suburbs of Santee when I saw this Beacon of donuts. Stop in to find out there a 24-hour joint on the weekend their donuts are a mere 1.05. I couldn't resist and got a cinnamon crunch donut that hit the spot. Old school cake style donuts for cheap what more can you ask for from a 24-hour joint? Wish I'd heard of this place sooner! Donuts fresh and tasty. I came in at 2am after having gone to yum yum donuts which had one type left- I had a heavy craving and needed more options, so my quest began. Tucked away between a motel and 7-Eleven, you could almost miss this place. It's nice and clean, and you won't need to wait for someone to notice you're there. The selection isn't massive, but it's got all the yummy standards, from regular glazed, to iced cake with sprinkles. At about $14/dozen this is a good place to go on the East end of Santee for a breakfast nibble, or to pick up a dozen to thank my fur baby's groomer. read more

Soupy acai bowl, it was very watery. When I returned it just now, I got my money back but the lady said their acai bowls is always like that, watery. They are still currently talking pretty loud in their language while we are here eating inside and they seem very upset that I even said anything. My boyfriend and I started coming here for the thrifty ice cream and the classic ice cream shop feel it has late at night, but now it's become our favorite date spot. When we go in the mornings we both get the egg sandwiches which are so affordable for how delicious they are that it's feels like you're stealing! And when I get their coffee they always have a variety of different creamer flavors to choose from! And if that wasn't enough to keep me hooked, the lady who is there every morning is sweet as pie and always makes us feel at home! I can't recommend this place enough!
