Highlights included the perfectly seasoned Farmer's Market Scramble, Chicken Apple Sausage, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce, and Herb Roasted Potatoes for breakfast. Lunch featured incredibly tender Short Ribs, perfectly glazed and moist Grilled Chicken, grilled polenta, and the best honey butter cornbread I have ever had. Our guests consistently commented on how outstanding the food was...and this group is not easily impressed when it comes to catering. I had roughly 26 employees to feed. Turns out we had enough and enough for some take home plates. The food was delicious. The guac tasted so fresh and the salsa too - yum! We have our favorites from their menu but they host a variety of curries, proteins, and small bites/street eats. Panipuri - crispy balls ready to be loaded up with lentils, delicious fillings and sauces, these mouthfuls are great for starters but you'll find yourself eating these throughout the meal not only because you're hungry but also because you just can't get enough of them. Samosas - hearty fried dumplings packed with potatoes that are perfect for eating on the go. Great by itself or with sauces and curry, these hot pockets are a burst of flavor that will stuff you up. Goat curry - full of flavor and a bit on the spicy end for those sensitive to capsaicin. Pair with naan or rice and you'll be golden, from the tastes you'll be experience as well as the heat! Butter paneer/chicken - the sweetness of the curry is subtle but the creaminess is what will win you over. Smothered over chicken or paneer, this is a delicious palate pleaser. Biryani - solid staple, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Great by itself or paired with some curry or a grilled entree. Salmon - delicious but a bit overcooked for my liking but in a pinch, omega-3s can be supplemented in this meal. Overall, Phulkari satisfies our craving for Indian curry any day and it's great knowing that the experience will consistently be a good one anytime those cravings come up. The taco service came with pollo, al pastor, and carne asada. The churros came freshly fried and served. The side dishes and sauces were beautifully displayed on a table to the side of where they set up with all the fixings and various spice levels of salsas (mild verde, medium creamy orange sauce, and hot red salsa - all delicious). There was a ridiculously large amount of rice and beans as well. Tortillas were freshly warmed on the griddle before they assembled each taco for our guests, which made for a delicious taco meal. Communication was consistently prompt, clear, and friendly all across the board from emails with booking details to calls for morning-of arrival and setup. That crew is on top of their game. The set up was great, the service was fantastic, and the food was really delicious. We had lots of leftover food and they packed it all neatly and efficiently. I didn't have to worry about containers for them - they did it all.
