The fitting room was old, dirty and crowded with junk. After my fitting, Gabbie said she'd order my garments I waited for three weeks and never heard from her. She never contacted the vendor and I never heard from her again My OT referred me to a different place as she said she heard negative things about this place as well. I wasted a lot of time, waiting to get an appointment, filling out paperwork, going for the fitting and got nothing in the end.

They have a pretty good selection of dresses on various prices and styles. The person assisting us was very helpful and had amazing customer service. She went around the shop with the bride to try and get an idea for the style at was looking for and they grabbed several dresses. They took them into the fitting room and she helped her try each on and helped to situate the dress for photos. She chatted up the bride asking about her special day and details of the engagement and really seemed interested. The bride picked her favorites and she wrote down all of the information for her to take and save her information. They also helped us to review bridesmaid dresses and color swatches. Overall this was a great first spot to start out dress shopping. They made things ready and put the bride at ease. They also have a lot of accessories for the big day, even for pets!

I am writing this about my experience as a bridesmaid. We…read moreall ordered our dresses at the same time. About 3 months before the wedding. Everyone was receiving their dresses within several weeks. I called. I was told it would not be in for several weeks. Ok... It comes in. I go to pick it up. Here is where it gets fun. They IMMEDIATELY start packing the dress for me to take home, without me trying it on. I see as they are packing it up that it has a HUGE RIP in the bottom. I ask to try it on. This takes some time. My dress has a large rip, and also DOES NOT FIT. They then say that the floor models "stretch" and the one that arrived is...four sizes smaller. They also say I have to pay for the rip to be fixed. *This was the seamstress WTF? I work with them, finding a replacement dress. I still have a few weeks. The options in "eucalyptus green" {which is more of a sage green, if you are trying to find a replacement} are very limited. I select one on sale thinking I can get it taylored. Oh boy. It is supposed to be cheaper, but they only want to do an exchange. So I have to pick items out around the store until I come up to the actual price of the first dress. M'kay. I pay the rush charge. I make the *slightly expensive* alternations appointment. The ORIGINAL dress was $150. This one was $99. Alternations: $210 dollars. I had to buy things around the store to fit their price tag. On THEIR MISTAKE. The dress DOES NTO arrive until after my alternations appointment. I am told that "it was sent to another store". They said the manager would call me (that never happened, ever). They ENCOURAGED me to keep my alterations fitting, knowing the dress was not there, because hey, it's $50 if I'm a no-show. I am firm in my cancel and start looking for other dresses. Yeh, David's Bridal colors don't match the rest of the world. Great. A week later, it arrives. It mostly fits. As I no longer have the alternations appointment (BTW: my friend told me to alter her wedding dress, as they encouraged her to size up, was over $1200, WTF). I go to a local shop (review next) and they alter it for $40. I wear it at the wedding and will never wear it again. Ok, maybe for halloween if I can figure out the right outfit. BUT THE DRAMA. Ugh. I would say plus one to the manager that helped me, but then she also pretended to not know what was happening, lied to me, had me buy things around the place, never called me, and literally tried to have me just take a ripped too small dress in the first place. So...no. 0/1 if I could. Do not shop here.

GORJANA @ UTC LA JOLLA…read more Parking is available for free for 2 hours in their lots! Located right by Nordstrom. Been eyeing for some gorjana jewelry for the longest time as my best friend has a couple from their collections and it's been lasting her for years! Shoutout to AnnieLu for helping me out style, and finding jewelry to put on. I really enjoyed my experience in the store, I have never really stacked or style, so getting advice from her was really helpful. I ended up getting a necklace (knot) and another necklace to style on top, with matching earrings. I was really eyeing on their fine jewelry especially the cross necklace, but it was way too tiny for my liking! Hoping they come out with chunkier ones. My total was about $200, not bad for high quality jewelry! Only odd thing is that they don't have a checkout station, you just pay whenever and whatever in the store through a small device. Overall great value and selection!
