I really like this Indigo store, though I feel that its location is probably not the best for…read moremaximizing its potential. It's in a quieter corner of the mall, and could use a bit more space. They always have interesting promotional tables set up in front of the store with special deals and "Heather's Picks" (I don't know who "Heather" is, but apparently Chapters/Indigo thinks she is the queen of books so who am I to argue..). It's a well organized store despite its size, and fairly simple to navigate. I particularly like their little impulse-buy gimmicky gift selection, and rarely walk out of there able to resist buying at least some small gadget that I'll never use. I like the color scheme and feel of the store.. it's light and airy and usually not very busy.. I definitely recommend giving this location a try

What do I love about this little boutique book/gift store in Sunnyside Mall? Uh. Just about…read moreeverything. From the mall entrance, it seems like a small location but there's a fairly large selection. It's almost TARDIS-like, this store. Inside, you'll find the usual Chapters/Indigo selection of books but in a smaller (and oddly better organized) structure. There's usually a fair selection of good deals. I'm also often fascinated with their range of selection of gifts. Lots of fun little trinkets that I haven't found at any other division of Chapters. There are few staff but they are always friendly and outgoing.

As a vegan, I always get excited to see more healthy stores, not because I'm a healthy vegan but…read morebecause they usually have some unique vegan products. This place has a good selection of protein powders, supplements and various snacks, many of which are vegan-friendly. The woman working wasn't overly friendly and I felt like she was watching me and my friend like a hawk which automatically makes me uncomfortable. It is in a nice convenient spot right downtown on Barrington street, its organized very well and as mentioned does offer lots of vegan options.

The staff at this location has been very helpful and friendly each time I have visited. They recommend products but are not pushy. * I have to say that unfortunately, I had a different experience at the Bedford location, they were not friendly, or helpful. I asked about a wonderful KETO friendly product that I have purchased at another health food shop , as well as grocery stores. When I asked at the Bedford location about them, I was told " well if the grocery store has them, that is why WE don't!". That seemed quite rude and elitist, and made me feel like this woman felt that they were too good to carry a product that the grocery store also carries. I will continue to shop at the Baker drive location only.

Radical Concepts caters to those who love fashion and deep pockets. Here you will find Ed Hardy Shirts for women. I love Ed Hardy, these T-Shirts and tops are one of a kind in there. I did not see too many multiple of one thing. The average shirt was $150 - 200. Jeans- If you like Christina Aguilera, you will love this shop. They carry her jeans and they are nice! So is the price tag, $350.00. They carry Hoodies, Bathing-suits, and also accessories. Really cool things in here. I am sure they have a great clientele. It is not a huge store, but it is packed full of goodies. The gal working there was pleasant, she and a couple friends were talking. She said hello and asked if I needed any help. Go here only if price is not an issue. But you will not be sorry, you will look pretty awesome in these clothes.

The man who I presume owns the store is the only person (before today, there was a woman with him) I had ever met behind the counter. Quick with suggestions and reviews, he's a great small business owner, and it shows. He's personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Business is tough, but this place has been around a while now and seems to be doing quite well, and I'd like to think it's mostly owed to him. I hope this place sticks around for many years to come. It may not be as big as some of the other places in town, but their selection is excellent. This tiny store is stacked! Definitely worth the drive from the city or a look-see when you're in the area.

Sometimes this is a good thing (see: Woozles), sometimes it can be so boring you'd rather repeat the second grade than have to weigh in yet again on which 'Foundations of Reading: An Instructional Text' series looks more interesting. Tattletales is one of the few spots that does a great job of balancing booksmarts with bookswagger. Sure, there's plenty for teachers looking to stock up on new strategies but there's even more great books, toys, and activities to keep kids of all ages (and grown-ups who turn into kids when shopping in kids book sections) entertained while they do so. There's plenty of space outside for parking and inside for easy shopping - you don't have to awkwardly dance with other shoppers as you cram into the same aisle. Staff are smart, helpful and really know their business rather than just minimum wage earning teens who text from behind the cash as you ask them questions. Whether you know what you're looking for or not, they can help you out. While I don't know much about their special events, I do know that during my visit, Sheree Fitch just happened to be there for a reading - a favourite from my childhood ever since being given a signed copy of Toes in my Nose. Very cool!

They're a good mixture of a children's bookstore, a toy store, and an excellent resource for teachers. The new store has a spacious clean setup and the displays are an inviting feast for the eyes. The toy section has a wide array of educational and just plain fun stuff. There's a great selection of Lego and Playmobile with some sets I haven't seen elsewhere. They also stock board games and puzzles. This is a toy store I could spend quite a while perusing. I don't have any children, but I adore this store with my childhood heart and love of whimsy. I've found the prices to be fair and often less than the big competitors. They also offer orders on any book or product they don't have in stock. The book section is exactly what a children's bookstore should be. There is a ton of variety in titles and the layout offers a much more intimate setting than the big box stores. The displays offer suggestions on the best pics for books and prominently shows what's new. In the exploding market of youth books they seem to carry everything. Not just Twilight. They shelve all the top titles along with little known gems. Tattletales' staff are friendly and helpful. They give you that local feel only an independent bookstore can. A definite must for book and toy lovers.
