I can't say enough about the skills of Grace and Jora ... And for an old massage pro like me it takes somebody with experience and skills and the ability to cater your massage therapy directly to your needs rather than some of the other businesses that have cookie cutter techniques... And then there's the barefoot massage... Did I say then there's the bare foot massage ... You do have the option to do regular massages however for those of us who have different needs the barefoot massage is something to look forward to on every occasion and you do still have the option within that appointment to still have a regular massage but they have to book certain rooms so you have to make sure to book barefoot even if you're only having about 5 minutes of it and it's so worth it Having never had it done before I was very hesitant the first time and I haven't stopped since ..it just gets into the deep tissue in a way that hands can't but there's some massages that you need that hands are the best options I highly recommend this place for professionalism for ethics for knowledge for location and overall very positive experience every time with friendly front desk staff .. "Shadia" was my masseuse and I can, without a doubt, that it was the most impactful massage I've ever had. Location is great, lots of parking. Friendly greeting at reception, and the space is clean and bright. They endeavour to do direct billing with your health insurance, which is an added plus; if you'd like this, bring your information. The rooms are standard, dim and clean. For the prenatal massage they had a prenatal table, but we opted for the pad. I'm a bit of a blimp, as you can imagine, and Shadia just rolled with my awkward movements. The prenatal pad was very comfortable for me. The massage was excellent and needed. There were some tender spots, which needed more work for longer. This led to Shadia suggesting that if I come again, a 90 minute may be better. Because of all of the horomones pumping through my body, I'm just more sensitive than normal which means that to make an impact she needs to work longer in the same places. Unlike most massages I've had, we chatted through most of the massage - normally I wouldn't like this as I like to bliss out when getting a massage, but we had lots to talk about, so it was quite lovely. I'm sure I could easily request silence at another occasion. All in all I was just thrilled with the experience. Walking in I was greeted by a friendly woman, rude of me not to get her name but she was very helpful. Massage Addict is actually a membership based massage therapy location which long story short means $50 for a 1 hours massage. Yes you have to sign up for 12 months but you can leave at any point.. This location is actually pretty new. Nice decorated with a vibrant green wall when you first walk in which is very eye catching. Nice white leather coach to relax while waiting. Micheal actually gave me my massage and he was very good, very strong I did not know weather to cry or hug him. But the most important thing my back feels 100% better and this was my first one. I have already booked for March and I can not wait. Oh yeah they are starting the week of Feb 21 with Esthetics's services as well and the prices are very reasonable. I haven't had a lot of experience with getting massages (none in fact) but as a business these guys are solid. Friendly front desk staff, and the therapists are professional and friendly. I always walk out of there feeling a little more relaxed and a little less tense. The introductory rate can't be beat and the monthly membership is definitely a savings. She was knowledgeable and had that great massage style that felt really gentle but you could tell she was really working out the kinks.
