I have been coming to this location and seeing two different massage therapists for several years now. I truly can't believe I lived in Dartmouth as long as I have and didn't even know this place existed they are 99 Wyse Road a place to easily drive by but once you go you don't forget where it is. I can't say enough about the skills of Grace and Jora ... And for an old massage pro like me it takes somebody with experience and skills and the ability to cater your massage therapy directly to your needs rather than some of the other businesses that have cookie cutter techniques... And then there's the barefoot massage... Did I say then there's the bare foot massage ... You do have the option to do regular massages however for those of us who have different needs the barefoot massage is something to look forward to on every occasion and you do still have the option within that appointment to still have a regular massage but they have to book certain rooms so you have to make sure to book barefoot even if you're only having about 5 minutes of it and it's so worth it Having never had it done before I was very hesitant the first time and I haven't stopped since ..it just gets into the deep tissue in a way that hands can't but there's some massages that you need that hands are the best options I highly recommend this place for professionalism for ethics for knowledge for location and overall very positive experience every time with friendly front desk staff .. We try on different pairs of shoes before we buy the right one and I realize in a city where there's lots of massage therapists we sometimes settle but we're talking about our temples.. we're talking about our bodies so they should be treated with the best care.. I know Grace is leaving because she's moving and she will be missed deeply but I highly recommend Jora for both regular and barefoot massage When I first went to see them I was in so much crippling pain I couldn't even stand straight.. it's great to be at a clinic where the practitioners actually listen and then set out to resolve so that you can have your best day moving forward until you're next appointment. This will become the treat in your week I promise you read more

Fantastic clinic! Friendly front desk staff, great ambience, excellent care, and good music! Taya was thorough in asking questions and making sure she was giving me the services I needed. She did scraping, hot and cold towels, and some barefoot massage as well. She targeted my sore spots, and found new ones haha. Consistenly the best massage team in the city. read more

Courtney is professional, knowledgeable, highly skilled and amazingly intuitive. I highly recommend her work.

When I tell friends I'm going for 'massage therapy,' they don't seem to hear the second word. Massage therapy can be (and often is) uncomfortable. A lot of, "Oh, does that hurt? Let me just put my entire body weight on that point until you almost cry." Or, at least, that had been my experience in the past. I've had a few appointments with Philippe now and have had a different experience. Are there painful moments? Yes. That's the therapy part. But he manages to cram more work into an hour-long appointment than any other RMT I've seen. In a good way! He hits the spots I've cited as problem areas but also explores related areas to find problems I didn't know I had. He sits with me beforehand and we talk about what's going on. He even suggests modifications and additions based on what I've been doing lately. I admit that one of the reasons I came here the first time was a) location (close to my home and gym) and b) hours. Getting an appointment on a Sunday is fantastic. My life is hectic and being able to come in on a slightly calmer day? Fantastic. Booking online? Makes everything even easier. The space is beautiful. It's a little oddly laid out, I'll grant you that. There are two spaces on either sides of the elevators but someone will happily help you find where you need to be. If you've got some soreness, head on over and they'll help you sort it out. read more

So i have been gratefully seeing therapists at SoreSpots for over a decade for pain management and injury support. The staff are exceptionally well training and provide absolutely fantastic treatments for whatever pain, stress, or tension you are dealing with. This is real hands and feet on therapy for physical and mental issues you are dealing with. Jamie, Sarah, Karine, Kate and all the other staff are really great at litening to your issues, hearing your issues and delivering a therapy session specifically designed to address your issues. I highly recommend them as the BEST massage therapy clinic in HRM. So if you haven't tried them, spoil yourself and what aches you and give them a try. read more

Honestly one of the best massages I've had. I travel a lot and have tried a variety...but Steph's Ashiatsu massage was right up there. If you haven't tried Ashiatsu, you should... it was my first time and I was curious going in, but the deep and accurate pressure really delivered! Plus, her music playlist was right up my alley and way better than a stock "massage room" soundtrack. Thanks! read more

Came in on a cruise ship and made a same day appointment with Vicky for a 90 min sports massage. Vicky was young but the most knowledgeable masseuse I have had (and I have had many). She listened to my specific issues and focused exactly where needed with an expertise well beyond her years. I highly recommend this place. read more

If you're looking for a massage therapist, I highly recommend Jamie. She is an amazing therapist. The treatments she has provided me, over the years, have made a positive impact on my health and well being. She has a professional, yet personable approach to her practice, and is very easy to talk to. I've also read good reviews about the other therapist's at Sore Spots. So, if you're looking for a therapist, give Sore Spots a call. read more

Alicia Stacey is an excellent Massage Therapist. She is very professional and was able to address my issues without causing pain during or after my treatment. She also suggested a few exercises I should do daily. On my next trip to Halifax I will definitely book a massage with Alicia. read more

I've been to many massage therapists around Halifax and this one is by far the best. I highly recommend anyone considering a massage to have a visit here. Don't worry, the therapists only apply as much pressure as you advise. For my issues, I need as much pressure as humanly possible and this is the place that can accommodate me, particularly with ashiatsu. read more
