I know, it's just a corner store, but nonetheless I have a pleasant time during my regular pop-ins. Showtime has become my movie center of choice. Sure it's no Video Difference which is just around the bend, but for $4 (tax in) you can rent a new or old release. I appreciate not having to spend a full fiver on a DVD, because really once you're over the five dollar mark, it might as well be ten bucks if you ask me. Recently, I was baking banana bread and didn't want to go to the grocery store, so what did I do? I went to Showtime and lo and behold, they had brown sugar and a few other ingredients that I required. Support this family run business and swing by Showtime for a DVD or a candy bar. But make sure your rental is back by 7pm the next day or face the $4 penalty. And for you folks out there who are pornographically inclined, I've heard tell of an adult section... but don't tell your mother.

I placed an order online, and did not receive an email confirmation for several hours. I ended up…read morecalling the shop to ensure that my order was received, and was given a snarky email reply about how confirmations usually go to junk folders (I had and have since checked all spam and junk folders, the confirmation never arrived). They also attached a copy of my online order. I ended up having to chase up my tracking information as I didn't receive a call from the shop as they advised I would. Upon checking my tracking information, I discovered that the parcel was NOT sent by the Xpresspost shipping (which I paid for) as I needed the costume by a certain date. This means that it is not going to arrive until after the event it was purchased for. My parcel was shipped by a method that is approximately 75% cheaper than the option I paid for. The staff have not been helpful in attempting to rectify the problems. I would NOT recommend Ripsters to anybody!

Very…read morefamily friendly, it is actually two pools: a shallow kiddie pool that is only a few inches deep in places and a 9 foot deep pool where bigger kids can dive and cannon ball. There is a beautiful view of the Basin and you can see all the way up the narrows. They have several different swims throughout the day so even if you have very little babies you can take then without worrying about being splashed or bowled over by bigger kids. There is also a little playground just down from the pool. The lifeguards are pretty on point; not just working on their tans. We basically lived here the Summer my son was born. Swim times are anywhere from an hour to hour and a half. Just take something to cover up with after the swim; since the pool is right on the Basin and there is no cover from the water little ones can get chilly on the breezy pool deck. At $8 for a family it is a cheap fun way for cooling off the whole brood!

I do not think there is once spec of room left in the store to put anything. It is jammed packed! The staff are great and friendly. We went there to look for a few of the games we like.
