I don't think I've ever left here empty handed! I've picked up two leather jackets and a couple of funky pieces of jewelry here. Probably not worth a special trip out of your way but definitely a fun place to pop in if you're in the area. Go for lunch at the Port Bistro or Pasta Guy while you're at it!

Sure enough, Myah (who is awesome!) called me back, told me she could get the dress by rush order, and I placed my order over the phone. Even though I wasn't there in person, Myah told me how beautiful the dress was and helped me decide on the colour, etc. She even reassured me that she was speaking with the Canadian rep for the designer and was confident that the dress will be here in plenty of time for my wedding. I would absolutely recommend for brides to give this store a try! Great service!

So when the 5 (that's right 5) cops came i explained to them that the staff removed all tags from the clothes. I didn't touch them but that is the excuse the owner used so I couldn't get my money back!! GIANT RIPP OFF. Phinneys SUCK and the owner is being dishonest by having his staff take the tags so NO ONE can get any refunds or store credit. See you in court you jerk!!

(Periwinkle, charcoal, rose pink, nude, and flecks of colour amongst it all!) Its actually a breath of fresh air, and a different variety from other independent boutiques in the area. I was elated to discover the accumulation of Free People frocks, which is probably my favorite [semi] affordable brand of all time. The owner mentioned that they would be getting more in soon-- whoo hoo! The overall stock seems romantic, flowing, and of excellent taste. Cute tops, rich fabrics and cuts are here for the taking. I think its safe to say that Wildflower has Bohemian Romantic down. The owner of the shop offered me genuine conversation and an easy shopping experience. I was the only patron at the time, so we chatted as I browsed. There was no pressure, no facade-- just good conversation and a shop full of wonders. My daughter-in-law , Maggie, purchased her wedding dress ( a beautiful gown at a very good price) a few years ago but after posting a 3 star review for the body-shaming (she is a size 6 ) and comments made to her in the dressing room out of ear shot from me or her bridesmaids, Mary and Tatum decided to call ME to get "control" of her and have the review removed. They phoned a few times, crying, yelling and saying I was destroying their business. Tatum then posted on FB to say that "it was on like Donkey Kong"... Again, I did NOT write the review. My daughter-in-law, justifiably, then changed her review to a 1 star after the very disappointing and upsetting treatment I received personally from them. Fast forward to August of 2019. We try to support local business and the wedding was being held at a local business, the pictures being done at 2 local businesses, the photographer, etc. also all local entrepreneurs. My daughter was getting married on October 5th and I had FORGIVEN them for their conduct and treatment and decided we should message them to request information about bridesmaids gowns. The chat message on FB was cordial enough and I said we would be in that afternoon to look. The message I then received back was this: "To be perfectly honest with you Tina after the last episode I'd prefer you not to come to my store. It was a huge upset to me and I can't feel that way again." I was BANNED from the store as was my daughter for something I did NOT do and for their unbelievable and poor treatment of ME. They lost sales for Mother of the Bride, Grandmother, Mother of the Groom and Maid of Honour and 3 bridesmaids! I visited some Halifax Shops in October/November to get an idea of what I liked and price range as was dissatisfied with the pushy attendants. A couple of friend recommended heading up to Windsor to visit Tatums. I called ahead and they said to visit around six months before the wedding so they would have time to order in the dress and do alterations. I made an appointment and we made the drive in January. We were greeted at the door with huge smiles by our personal attendant Karrie and the owner Tatum and were asked if we were ready to get to work. We headed upstairs and Karrie asked what I was looking for. She sent us to look at the discount rack (because you never know according to her) and started to pull dresses for me. After trying on 2 dresses I knew that I had found a winner. I still tried on 6 more dresses to be sure and Karrie was very patient and encouraging me to try everything just to be sure. I did find out from the owners that the majority of wedding dress are under $2000 which is cheaper then in the city. It was a day of fun and happiness. Since picking my dress I have been back three times, once to help find dresses for my mother and mother in laws, once for alterations and once to pick it up. Everytime after that first time they greeted us by name and like we were old friends. There are pictures of past brides who had bought dresses from them and I was encouraged to send along a picture after the wedding. This is the place to go for personalized service and great prices. My sister and best friend are planning on visiting here for their dresses when its time. It is well worth the drive and they have an amazing selection of wedding, mothers and bridemaids dresses.

First, this is like walking into a fairytale with some of these dresses. They had such a large variety, I was shocked. There was young girls trying on these beautiful gowns. Some in red, others in gold and some in burgundy, I think you could find anything in here, long , short or cocktail dresses and every color option. Each dress was so full of personality, of course they all looked beautiful. I am not sure someone can look bad in these dresses. When you put one one, you just feel like a princess. The ladies in the shop were very nice to us, asked us if we needed any help, talked about the weather. They were very down to earth. The gowns ranged around $300 - 500, but there was a back wall with ones on sale, they were around $200. I thought this was a pretty good price. I liked the selection here. It is the only store that posts a sign. "Please remove shoes before entering". I think this is so no one would catch the shoe while trying on the dress.

These prom dresses are the main attraction for many girls that flock to this store all winter, and when I finally went to pick out a dress the women that worked there made me never want to come back. They wouldn't let my friend go into the change room with me, our bags were taken behind the cash register (who would try to smuggle out 11 layers of toule?), and no pictures were allowed to be taken of me trying on the dress. Not-So Hot Hint: Don't plan on being able to zip and unzip yourself, I was reprimanded and given the "you break it you buy it" line for doing just that.

There have been a few times I've gone in while my mother was shopping and one girl was down right rude. Being a plus size store one would think they could be more tactful when it comes to body image. Not the case here. One sales associate actually acted disgusted that my mother had lost weight and was looking for smaller sizes. She tore a strip of my mother because mum mentioned that she was going on a diabetic diet because my father was recently diagnosed as type two diabetic. The woman proceeded to tell her that she 'get seriously pissed when people classify type two diabetics as being diabetic because in her opinion they really aren't. There is only one type, which is type one. And there is no such thing as a diabetic diet". Sometimes ladies, keeping your opinions to yourselves ensures repeat customer service. Especially in an area as small as the valley where word of mouth travels quickly. Until a staff change takes place my patronage will be taking place in the city.
