These guys are now my go-to guys for any electrical work. They fixed some switches in my house, and also lighting in my laundry room and garage. They even fixed my air-conditioning unit! This last part impressed me. They quickly realized the problem wasn't the power to the unit, but actually due to a clipped wire inside the unit -- they took it apart, fixed the wire, and restored A/C to my house... something the previous guys I had called (AC specialists) weren't about to find/fix. I am not sure what was going on the day they came but it seemed like one of the guys didn't communicate with the other guy. We had to explain everything that needed to be done again, which isn't a big deal. The big deal happened when the owner came late, was acting super weird, not present, on his phone, smelled like vomit, etc. Due to all this his co-worker had to pretty much do everything. The co-worker was rushing because he had been working for quite a long time that day (I am guessing). At one point one of them had to run to Home Depot or Lowes to get a universal fan controller (which they charged $100 when it was $39.99 at the store; they were having a hard time with the fan I purchased). They also had to guy some equipment (auto on light) but they we not in stock so we only did one of the lights we wanted. Prior to their being over my husband said he wanted a certain dimmer that they didn't have available so they used ones I bought (and was going to take back). Before all of this, the owner scheduled himself on a Monday holiday and just told us a few days before he had to reschedule because of that. He also gave a window for time they'd be there but didn't get there until the very end of the window (again, having to rush through). This company was highly recommended but we will definitely not be using them again due to the unprofessional demeanor we witnessed. read more

I had an issue with the wiring in my new house. We had purchased a new Keurig Duo that we had plugged into a 20 amp circuit. The Kuerig kept tripping the GFCI breaker in our box even though there was nothing else on that circuit. I contacted Greg with Honesty Electrical Services and explained my problem. He was not able to help in person due to the Covid-19 pandemic but he took the time to lead me to the solution on my own. The fact that he took the time to walk me through the problem speaks to his character. He wants to help and even if he can't in person. He will do anything he can to resolve the issue. Would not use again or give recomendation. Installed wrong part. I let them know and didn't believe me when I said it doesn't work. Ask me to get neighbor to try. Same thing. I had paid already. Ask for my receipts twice still don't have them. Had to hire another electrican to come fix problem. Bad business practice. Feel like I have been scammed. read more

I needed help hiding an exposed electrical conduit that was a huge eyesore. While every other company immediately quoted me for the cost of replacing the entire electrical circuit, Greg suggested a simple solution for burying the existing line into the wall, at a fraction of the cost other companies were quoting. Greg and his colleague James completed the work quickly and professionally; they were in and it in just around an hour! Gregory is a saint. I decided to attempt to replace some switches in my bathroom after work one night. After hours of not being successful, I frantically searched for a 24hr electrician (9ish pm). Not having bathroom lights/fan in your only bathroom is a scary thought. Anyways, Greg did not hesitate to come out & promptly arrived an hour later. Unfortunately our wiring was a HUGE can of worms. But he made the light work for us to hold us over until the next day. The next day he kept in touch & showed up ready to tackle what needed to be done. He informed us of everything he was doing to ensure our electrical would be safe & what may need to be done in the future. Greg came on 8/15 to inspect a smell coming from my panel box. He suggested I replace it due to some moisture getting inside. He agreed to the price $3500 with a $1,000 cash deposit. I found this to be more expensive than others but I agreed. I had VERY little communication between then and 8/18 when he told me he would fix it 8/16. Then he said 8/17, then 8/18 at 8am. I finally told him to cancel the job and refund me the deposit. I messaged him this at 6:47pm on 8/17 but he explained his truck broke down and it is now fixed so I told him 8am 8/18. He did not show up or contact me, once again. I messaged him at 9am saying to cancel everything and demanded a refund. He said he purchased the supplies from a "private" person and cannot get a refund which is extremely sketchy since he already said he can get around an inspection. He refuses to give back the $1,000 deposit and his fiance keeps hanging up the phone when I call. I will have to take this to court I guess. Not what I had planned. read more

I am not impressed with "Honesty" Electrical. This is the THIRD day I have waited for a technician to show up. Nobody seems to be interested in showing up. Someone was supposed to show up between 11am and 3pm. Nobody ever showed up or even bothered to call! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I HIGHLY recommend calling someone else. Don't waste your time with these idiots. I would give zero stars if it was possible. read more
