I really enjoyed talking with him as did my mother-in-law. And then I never heard anything back from him. I figured he was busy so I gave him a couple weeks. A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

I received a response from Tim who came to the site, inspected the project and even agreed to proceed/provided a verbal estimate. Despite this, he then stopped answering my messages and calls. They communicated well from start to finish, everything happened on schedule, and there were no surprises, all of which were priorities for us in pursuing this work on a fixed budget. We will definitely seek TGR out for our future project needs when they arise. Many thanks for the great work!

I hired Alan to replace cedar shakes and do some finishing woodwork on the exterior of our home…read more We met Alan based on a referral from another home services company. From the beginning, Alan was methodical, communicative and prompt. He showed up to give us an estimate and answered my numerous questions about the job at hand. By the end of the same day of his initial visit, we had a detailed estimate in email, which we approved. Our house was remodeled in the past with uniqueness and quality materials in mind, but with 80% completion on many aspects. We needed a contractor who could help complete our unique vision. Alan replaced a large area of cedar shakes on the back of our home, helping erase the evidence of a decayed deck we previously removed. He also crafted a solution for a corner where the previous homeowner didn't seal up the house properly. Alan was organized and gave great attention to detail. He communicated his arrival and departures each day, and ended up finishing ahead of schedule. I am super happy with the level of attention that was paid to each detail of the job, and will hire Alan again for a future project.

He and Chevo kept an eye on everything, and let me know when they encountered a problem. Great attention to detail, also. I would recommend Zurc construction to anyone who wants a great job done on their project. They also came back soon after and did a small job in my shop. Again, great work, short timeline! Call Jose! We were ghosted by one contractor and turned away by several others before we finally found Pluum Construction, and I'm so glad we did! As new homeowners, this was our first experience dealing with homeowners' insurance and we were overwhelmed to say the least. James was a phenomenal advocate in helping us understand the process and most importantly, working with our claims representative to ensure all of the repairs we needed were paid for. Altogether Pluum Construction ended up replacing half of our roof, our gutters, repairing and re-staining our deck, and installing new LVP floors throughout our home because our old floors couldn't be matched. All of the work was done beautifully! Now we feel like the tree falling was a blessing in disguise because it's like we got a surprise home renovation paid for by insurance. I really credit that to James putting in the time for repeated calls with our claims representative to explain what needed to be done to make us whole. James was extremely responsive and easy to reach through phone or text throughout the entire project. If I called him and he didn't answer, I would get a text right away letting me know he was on another call and would call me right back. His team was very friendly and we felt comfortable having them in our home. It's really obvious how much pride Pluum Construction takes in their work, and how much they care about their clients. James will be our first call next time we need a contractor!
