called beforehand to pickup a part. had to wait 30 minutes while the asian worker chatted up with the only other customer in the store about his bike. I decided to look at the helmets and was told to go back in line and be patient. maybe they thought I would steal it cause I'm black lol. or are you not allowed to walk around in the store while you wait? read more

I took my Honda quad in for servicing spoke to the service person (Kash) agreed on the work and payment. Was told to pick up quad by end of the day. So I phoned to check if everything was a go they advised me parts not in cool no worries I get it. 3 days later I pick up my quad he tells me price went up by $351 and some of the work didn't get completely finished but you don't need it. After arguing for 20 mins I pay the original price and take my quad home. Found a person on Craigslist he finished the work and charged me $80. No happy with service or staff will not ever go back there again. Read the reply's of the manager not once he said let me fix the problem or finish the job nor any compensation just a sorry. Not a good way to stay in business. read more

I bought my brand NEW Honda Jazz from them 2012. I thought they are a dealer if there are problems in the future, they can better handle than other place which offer lower price. Boy, I was dead wrong!! Three days later the engine locked up. I can not go over 10 kilo/hour. Couple weeks later, the auto starter failed. And with many dealing with the service manager. I found him impatient and not professional. And just rough!! Problems... problems... not responsible!! They like money. They don't like service!! My first oil change for my brand new scooter was at "$90". I felt a bit od that a tiny scooter cost more money to oil change than my full blown Lexus. The service manager also yelled at me. "Next time, please make appointment." Not long after that the electric starter start to mul-function. I went back for warranty repair. The service manager told me it's the battery dead and it's not cover by the warranty. And ask me to buy a 50 dollar battery pack. It's supposed cover by service warranty but I decided not to pay and just using the kick start. After couple months, it start to work again by itself. The batter is not dead. Somehow, the starter isn't working properly. Lucky I didn't spend that $50. Where is my warranty? Where is my service? They just don't want to service and warrant their own products. Anything they will figure out ways to charge you. I complain to the big boss. No respond!! I wouldn't deal with them again!! And I unfriend their boss on my facebook!! read more

I'm new to motorcycling. I thought I wanted a street legal dirt bike and was looking at second hand. The sales guy rode one to my office for me to check it out and it wasn't right for me. Great service! He recommended a motorcycle course and I was able to try different bikes in the course. I ended up buying a 2018 CB300F. Love it. I went in to buy chain lube the other day and they were out of what they recommended, so they lubed up my chain for me while I was there. I wish they were open Sundays and Mondays, but I like the small time feel of this place and I've adapted to their hours. read more

They do not charge "documetnation fee" on bike or equipment purchases. They do not pressure you with sales tactics. They do not increase freight charges for a little sales negotiating cushion. Lee, Duncan and Rod have straigh up answers for honest questions. Sugarcoating extra. They will give you maintenace tips and will not make you buy one extra washer you don`t really need. I haven`t caught them make an error yet with prices, models or part numbers. Their manners could be a bit more refined but don`t forget: If they sound a little rough it is due to their date of manufacture. I satisfied my inner nerdiness and outer extrovertedness by purchasing a Honda Jazz scooter from Honda Centre this summer. The staff was extremely helpful and made it easy for me to select the model of my choice and pay for it all in less than an hour and a half, which was split between a lunch break and after work. I even had enough sun left in the day to go for quite the tour of Vancouver after all was said and done. While their selection was not large for scooters, their prices were in line with the market and current sales. They also have quite the assortment of parts, accessories, and riding gear available upstairs and they were very helpful when it came down to me deciding on which helmet I would leave with. (If you were wondering, I chose the one that most closely resembled The Great Gazoo from The Jetsons.) I will definitely be returning in the future for all my service, parts, and gear needs. read more

I bought new CB300F motorcycle form HondaCenter, these guys are awesome and given me best price and also they given my $150 discount just because I went through a driving school, not only that, their freight is only $450 and no document fee, that is 50% less than other dealers. Megan at the gear shop was very helpful to pick helmet, jacket, etc. She took the time to explain everything that I needed to know about the motorcycle gears. I will continue to buy my motorcycle stuff from HondaCenter! read more

I bought a 2017 CB500F from HC in July. They were excellent to deal with; especially important for me was that they were no-pressure sales persons. I'm a slow buyer and getting pushed is a sure way to get me to go elsewhere. They are good on pricing, but that is a little less important to me. I've also had great help from the parts & accessories people upstairs. I could have bought a dealer closer to home but preferred to deal with the Honda Centre. I would certainly recommend them. read more

Went to the parts desk today. I had the part and the model of my lawnmower so no problems there other than the freakin' spring cost me $10.00!!! BUT I DO want to gripe about a previous service to my lawnmower. This is a Honda Motorcycle and Power Equipment shop. They service all Honda small engines, like lawnmowers and outboard boat motors, etc. That's where I don't appreciate the service. This is my previous experience, but I didn't find any change in the vibe when I went there today. Don't go in there expecting they'll be nice to noobs. Sure, I don't know a thing about maintaining my lawnmower, but man, maintenance can get pricey! And the main deal breaker is that they kind of berate you for abusing the machine. Then the labour is not cheap! Sure, the MRSP list on my 2007 invoice is $80/hr and they charge only $70, but I swear...looking back at the line items now, I swear they double charged me on labour on another line item... These guys are the official service center so they will have the parts and mechanics to handle Honda related stuff, so it might be hard to find someplace else. I'll find out soon, as I should bring my lawnmower in for long overdue maintenance again. I will most definitely be looking for some other place before I go back. read more

If it would be possible to give this company less than a 1, it would certainly happen. I own a Landscape maintenance company and recently bought a lawnmower and power washer there. After three uses the pump on the power washer packed it in. I've been doing this my whole life and they had the temerity to tell me that I ran the machine without water. So no guarantee. $1000 thrown away. Once my existing Honda equipment is done, I'll be looking for another brand. read more

Last week I took my Rebel in for a few issues another dealership didn't seemed to brush me off on. I was very impressed with the staff of the Honda Centre for taking the time to problem solve and identify my two major concerns, as well as remedy a couple others that should have been taken care of on my previous service with the 'other guys'. I am now riding again with peace of mind, and also knowing more about my bike as they informed me on their process. read more

So in I went to Honda Centre, aannnnddddd no one acknowledged me. I stayed around, looking and asking questions to my brother and the two people who work there (both older men) pretended they were busy. So I left. Have a Honda EX5000 D diesel generator that stopped producing electricity. Spoke to the service dept described the model number, and what was wrong. Asked if they could fix this for me and they said sure bring it in and turnaround time is a week to 10 days. Told them that I have to bring it via barge from Gambier Island, then by truck to their location. After showing up the service dept the service guy asked where the gen set was. "Still in my truck, shall I drive it in to unload it closer to the service bay?" He said no that's Ok lets have a look at it in your truck which was still on the street. "No we can't fix this, no parts available." We didn't even take a look at the unit except at the face plate of the Honda Great, $400 in the barge fee and they didn't even look it. What ever happened to "lets take a look at it and see what we can do." They suggested that I simply buy a new EU7000 gen set. Told him that my back up is a Honda EU 6500 and it drinks fuel compared to the diesel. Look elsewhere for service is all I can say. read more

I recently had my shadow serviced by these guys and although I have been going to them for years I am not impressed by the service department at all (parts department is still good in my opinion). On this particular service they had to do a bunch of stuff but I specifically asked them not to change my oil or filter because I do it myself every winter. I also handed them my turn signal lightbulb (I had taken it out and tried to change it because it wasn't working - turns out there was a wiring problem so I just left it out) when I gave them my key. I finish work the same time they close but was assured earlier on the phone that someone would be there to take my bike. I managed to get there just after 5:30 as was greeted with a "You're one minuted late." I sympathize but the rudeness was not appreciated. When I went to pick up my bike the guy showed me my bill and then proceeded to run through a bunch of 10% discounts for me which I thought was great until he told me that they had changed my oil and filter. I told him I didn't want to pay for something I asked them not to do and after trying to "make it better" by saying that he could knock more off so that I would just be paying his cost for the oil (uh hello? I don't want to pay for it at all!) he proceeded to remove all the discounts he just gave me because it was the only way he could do it in his computer. Gee thanks man. Also I had to pay for a new lightbulb because they lost it. Seriously? If that wasn't enough, driving around after I noticed a few odd noises coming from the bike: one of which came from the spedometer housing rattling all over the place (the thing was flapping around), and another was from not tightening up some bolts in my steering. Wow. Not impressed. I will think a few times before taking it back for more service. Too bad Alex isn't there anymore. read more

I must have driven past this place a thousand times but rarely been inside. Lately I had to fix up a CBR125 with a very rusty fuel system. Rod, in parts, helped find the right stuff including a new gas tank at prices better than I could find anywhere else and tracked down a pile of other parts, spending a great deal of time for me. I then handed David, in service, the fuel pump clogged horribly with crud and asked if they could clean it up. He had his technician do so and even re-installed it in the new tank all for only 0.5 hour labor. Both David and the tech who did the work were also very helpful on suggestions for the bike. So I would definitely use these guys again for parts and service, no question. I can't comment directly on sales as I've had zero experience with them, but their guy Lee sold me a Yamaha about 25 years ago when he was working elsewhere and was good to deal with then. Pretty much the go to shop if you have a vintage Honda in Vancouver, the parts dept. is stellar. Rod, Lori & Duncan are the best, they all were riding, selling or wrenching on bikes back in the 70's and any time I need a part or have a question about one of the 70's bikes my wife and I own and maintain they alway have an answer or part ordered quick. Service department knows their stuff as well, I do as much of the maintenance as I have time for but would have no problem having the techs work on any of our old Hondas. The eye candy in on the showroom floor is top notch as well, quite the collection of rare vintage bikes on display beside all the new bikes for sale. read more
